This restaurant was a no brainer after a great workout at OTF last Saturday. This place was bustling with people but the wait time was under 3 minutes. Our waiter, Hunter, brought me to the table for 2 and promptly pulled my seat out for me. A true gentleman. When my friend arrived, he continued giving us great service, explaining items on the menu and always making sure we were satisfied. The restaurant is in a strip which makes parking limited and semi-difficult. There is indoor and outdoor eating areas. I had the Salmon Eggs Benedict (eggs over easy instead of poached) it was EVERYTHING! The only thing I altered was the eggs and when I say I cleared my plate, that's an understatement. My food arrived hot, which I like. The eggs were good, but the potatoes were over salted to the point I couldn't eat them. The toast was so thick, and served cold, that none of the butter was melted. On a return trip to visit family, I got to return to this location. It had been a few years and seems they've worked out the kinks of being new. The food is always excellent. They had me in and out within 20 minutes. They also were able to provide me with oat milk for my coffee. I also ordered a side of chicken sausage which was two patties and more than enough from a protein perspective. They have the cutest outdoor space for small or large parties to eat. My sisters brought me here on Thursday morning and my breakfast was so delicious I wanted to bring my wife back. So on Saturday morning we decided to do just that and dine here. My wife did an online reservation because the wait it usually long according to my sisters of ( approx 20-30 ) minutes. We were sat within 10 minutes and because of the reservation we didn't have to wait as long as others. My wife had the healthy turkey omelet with fruit and her beverage was the morning meditation. I had the biscuit, with a side of bacon and eggs so I could make my own biscuit sandwich with a glass of fresh orange juice. I ordered the same thing on Thursday and it was more food than I could eat but today it was a much smaller amount. I spoke to my server about it and the manger "John" fixed it and he also explained why it was a difference. I was very pleased with the service we received and that the manger himself took care of it without any issues with my complaint. Everything was hot upon arrival to our table and it was all very delicious. The meal was not very expensive and it was about average but the food was much better than some of your other chain breakfast restaurants. I will definitely return to this location because of the service and taste and quality of the food. I love first watch. Their food is so fresh. They're million dollar bacon is to die for. It can get expensive. But that's because it's not diner food. It's actually very nice quality. The atmosphere is a little noisy at times. They have a very nice menu, the service is excellent. They also have takeout. The place is larger inside than it appears out front. Very cozy décor with booths all around the parameter and farmhouse style tables in the middle. And let me tell you, it gets loud in there with all the people and the bustling kitchen which can be seen through the big open window to the back. Despite the crowds, the wait was very reasonable. Service started promptly and food did not take longer than I would expect given the day. Our server was attentive without being invasive. I ordered the 2 For You lunch with the Cobb salad and the tomato soup. I also added some of their whole grain artisan toast as a side. My lunch companion ordered the Market skillet hash plate with eggs over medium. We both had water which was cold but missing one of my favorite components, ice. Very much missed. My soup was the highlight on my plate. Very bright and flavorful. The toast was a much needed addition to dunk into the soup. I was disappointed the side order of toast consisted of only 1 small piece. My salad was small and on a bed of room temp mixed greens, a no no for a Cobb as far as I'm concerned. It really was missing that cold crunch. The toppings were ok other than the "roast turkey" which really smelled and tasted like cheap children's sandwich meat diced up and thrown on top. The dressing was a surprise hit as it tasted homemade and had lots of noticeable fresh herbs in it. My companion's meal was quite delicious and a decent portion. The potatoes with roasted onions and tomatoes were especially satisfying. The only fault I could find in it was that the diced bacon mixed in tasted a bit burnt. For a breakfast/brunch place the pricing is a little high, but that's what is becoming the norm. Our 2 meals, no drinks came to just under 29.00 before tip. Love this place! It's our go-to spot for Sunday breakfast or brunch. We've always been taken care of by staff. Always friendly faces. We tend to go on Sunday's, a couple of hours before they close, so there's a nice chill vibe there at that time. Needless to say, if you haven't experienced First Watch food before, please do.
