Thank you managers at the Summerfield Riverview location. Brian and Scott, I appreciate your understanding of my complaints on my last visit. Without Brian and Scott this would have been a two star review. Since weekends are busy at this location, I use the "Get in Line" feature on the First Watch app. While waiting to check in with the hostess. I started talking to the couple in line behind me. They didn't know about the app or Get in Line. Yet, when the hostess started to seat customers, she seated the couple that arrived after me. When I asked the hostess why someone, that didn't use the app and was in line behind me was seated ahead of me, she was snarky and rude. After being seated a customer with a chihuahua was seated next to me. When I noted that the dog didn't have a service or support animal vest, I was told if the customer said the dog is a support animal, there isn't anything the restaurant can do. Being seated next to her, I saw the dog licking her dirty feet. Not an appetizing sight! The food and service is usually good and consistent at this location and I'm usually there once a week. Again, thank you Brian and Scott for understanding my disappointment on this visit. read more

Apparently this is a chain wwe had no idea but nonetheless the food was fresh and amazing. It was crowded might be due to Mother's Day. They have gluten free toast and took extra precautions to make sure my meal wasn't cross contaminated. We ended up seating at the community table which I think is a nice concept to get to know people. I got the harissa has with sweet potatoes as the regular potatoes would've been crossed containment with gluten. My boyfriend got the melt which he said was amazing! Just writing this review, my mouth started watering. I'm not coming to First Watch for awhile because I have already been here probably 100 times and I feel as if I ate so much of it that at this point I'm over it. Soon as some months pass by I will surely be back here to enjoy some delicious dishes. The service in this Riverview location is impeccable and the waitresses and waiters are extremely sweet and accommodating to anything a customer may need. I highly recommend the watermelon wake-up, a refreshing and delicious drink made with powerful probiotics and antioxidants to make you feel fresh and powerful. Especially in times were living in now with the pandemic, packing on those probiotics and immune building enhancers are key to staying and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Depending on what you like, there's options here for everyone no matter your health restrictions. I recently just changed my eating habits and took up cycling and running again -- First Watch is my go to for an after gym snack or drink. Sometimes I come here just to pick up a quick salad and a drink. The pesto chicken bowl along with the avocado toast is my top choice. The avocado is smoothly spread along some thick oat/wheat bread with a dash of sea salt on top. Two slices of avocado toast is paired with eggs (whichever you like them cooked) and a wedge of lemon. Let me tell ya... the lemon makes the dish ten times better! The million dollar bacon is also delicious, but I'm not a big fan of bacon so I rarely ever have it like I do everything else. Keep in mind that every First Watch in every other location has a different and unique menu. For example, here in Tampa (Riverview), the FW is mainly farmhouse food and the one in Brandon is skillet based and everything is quite literally... sizzling. Honestly, the ambiance here is fabulous and you feel that wonderful homey type feeling. Coming here with some friends, family or even to enjoy a nice cup of coffee with yourself is an amazing choice. First time eating here - heard about it - great experience! Greeting and service was excellent! Very nice wait staff and I'm ashamed for not remembering my servers name. But her service was top notch as she frequently checked in. Quality of the menu and food was also excellent. Coffee was very flavorful, really enjoyed it. I had the cinnamon crunch pancake and eggs with bacon. All very tasty with a huge pancake! Cheese on scrambled eggs made it extra tasty and the bacon was thick and meaty. Just went this morning for breakfast because our spot village inn had a 45 min wait . I got waffles and my dad got pancakes and eggs with sausage. Food was REALLY REALLY good. The only problem i gave 1 point off was because the wait time was VERY long , o and the apple juice was like bitter. That is fine no biggie. Still everything else was so good. I asked why everything was taking so long they said the dm was in and he made everyone so nervous so things take longer. I understand this as in my work the same happens. Still everything was very very good i really like the plates they served , they look like there is garnish when there is not PERFECT choice. So my wife dragged me here on a Sunday morning. I'm generally not into chain stores--why bother when we have such an abundance of local shops? However, I must say First Watch in Big Bend does Breakfast well. The First Watch in Big Bend is a relatively new store, right off 301. Clean and well run, with comfortable seating we enjoyed our meal--I just had some French toast and my wife had the pumpkin pancakes. Our server was excellent, stopped by regularly and topped off our coffee promptly. Overall, we had a pleasant visit with exceptional service. Definitely a hit for a Sunday brunch--worth a try if you're in the area looking for a decent brunch. read more

Pastrami is one of my favorite sandwiches and while NO ONE can replicate a true New York Deli sandwich, this was pitiful. More bread over salted than meat. Food - this is where the restaurant truly shines. Restaurants that focus on healthy ingredients, for me, often are a disappointment. I typically struggle to find items on the menu that interest me and don't appeal to my tastes. Not so at the First Watch! This is a breakfast, brunch, lunch place and the menu reflects this. The variety and depth of the menu is impressive. I ordered the Trifecta. With it I had the waffle, scrambled eggs and sausage. It was excellent. Value - with the Trifecta, my wife's roast beef sandwich (which she also enjoyed) and 2 ice teas, the bill came to $25. Given the quality of the food, I would consider this be be a good value. First Watch in Riverview is consistently terrible. The longer they are open the more the quality and service goes down. Every single time I order I am disappointed. Every single time I order something is either missing or wrong so this will be my last time. I added pictures for reference cuz what the phck. I also asked for no jalapeno crema and if you look at the picture below.. the crema was added. Someone really looked at this browned out avocado and decided it'd pair nicely with my burned potatoes and over charred carne asada. I just had to leave my house to get the food remade & normally i let it slide (last time i got breakfast tacos with potatoes and they gave me beans instead & i just accepted it) & I'm over it!!! Always a good time at First Watch! Had brunch with the ladies of the family during the holidays. Our server, Nico, was very friendly and made our experience a comfortable and enjoyable one. We went on a Thursday morning after Christmas and had no wait for which was great. We had traditional breakfasts, the barbacoa Benedict, and Seoul Hash (we love kdramas )! My husband and I have been to many First Watch locations. After recently moving to the area we were happy to see they opened at a convenient location for us! The menu is a little different than your ordinary breakfast joint, it's on the healthier side. I've tried many different items on the menu and everything I've eaten has been enjoyable. Everything is made to order, so you can have your food cooked exactly as you like! I enjoy the breakfast skillet as you can see from the photo. You can have your eggs in your skillet cooked any way you like. You can also tell the server you'd like an extra egg thrown in, as my husband often does. I tell the server I like my potatoes in my skillet well! And, as you can see the avocado in my skillet is sliced nice and not all mushy! I find this location to be clean and the staff friendly. Our waitress was Lauren who was delightful and on point. She seemed to be doing a few things other than serving, but it didn't affect our service at all. We've had her at a previous time and she was just as sweet and as good then! On the weekends this place gets pretty busy so be prepared. read more

I have been to many of their locations. All have consistently good food and service. Breakfast items such as skillets, omelets, Benedict's, & the lemon ricotta pancakes are very popular. My two lunch favs are the roast beef & havarti sandwich and ham & greyere sandwich. Their chicken salad melt is also good. The coffee is served in hot decanters left on the table. There are also flavored creamers on the table. Seasonal specials such as pumpkin waffles keep the menu fresh. The decor is rustic, and it feels like a farm to restaurant establishment. They do have several healthy items such as their granola bowl and power wrap. The parking at this location is limited because the center is small. Just be patient, I have always found a spot. The service was slow ... and not there at times. We asked for water, the waitress brought our food order eventually but did not notice we didn't have water yet and left quickly. We did get water after my husband got her attention. We finished our meals (which were great) and needed a to go box. We asked for one and got one after a long wait.
