I picked up take out on a rainy Saturday morning. The place has only been open 2 weeks and you can tell. The staff are all frazzled and learning as they go. The people waiting in line were clearly irritated. I ordered the farmhouse skillet hash and millionaires bacon. The avocado in the hash is about the size of a quarter. Unacceptable. The bacon was even worse. I paid $4.99 for 3 scrap pieces of bacon covered in syrup. I also got a single slice of french toast just to try it. The berry compote was delicious but it didn't fix the toast. No flavor, under cooked and tough (not enough batter) and just disappointing. I went here two days in a row . The 1st day I found that the food was pretty tasty and wholesome. I has gotten a chocolate chip pancake and The Works omelette. I loved that it came with greens as well as two slices of toast that tasted so good. I came the 2nd day for lunch and ordered the same thing. I as I was about to dig in my plate... They have good healthy options if you're not looking to fill up on meats and thick pancakes. It catered to my diet having the vegetarian omelette and easily being able to substitute things for a side of fruit and salad instead. Overall, the food was ok! It wasn't bad, it wasn't something to write home about. The omelette tasted good and was really packed with all the good veggies which was really nice to see! The Egg and I was our favorite breakfast place. Now with rebranding there are so many changes that we didn't like. Servers are not that nice. The food is ok, but for example ranch potato was awesome but that new potato is not as delicious any more. My husband asked the dish without cilantro, but they added some other herbs which where not delicious. So sad. read more

I had outstanding service & food here before during the week, so I was disappointed with the (lack of) service today. I had been raving about the place to my hard-to-please husband. He finally agreed to go at 1pm on a Sunday. We used the Yelp app to join the waitlist & that process went great! After being seated, it took the waiter 5 minutes to acknowledge us and then a while to bring us water. We placed our order and it took at least 30 minutes to get our food. During that time, our waiter was no where to be seen. Our child also ordered an orange juice when we placed the food order. It never appeared. The food was delicious, but I don't know if we'll go back due to the service. I'm fairly certain my husband won't return. It would have made such a difference for the waiter to check in with us and tell us the food was delayed. read more

First watch is definitely a welcome new addition. We ordered our food to go because we had some things we needed to get done. This is so far my only issue with them, but the way they handle To Go orders is not very efficient and causes the line at the register to grow much to long, crowding the entry way. The lady at the register waits for a waiter to become available to take the cutsomer's To Go order. The customer is not charged until the food is ready, in my case I had to wait in line behind a few people who have already eaten, as my order sat on the counter and grew cold. If they would let you pay when you order that would fix a lot of issues. The food on the other hand was absolutely delicious. Healthy but with sizable portions. Looking forward to trying more menu items. The juices are so fresh and well crafted. Perhaps since the establishment is so new they are still ironing out the logistical kinks. My wife ordered the Trifecta and wanted Bacon instead of sausage but the restaurant was not very accommodating- they put it on the plate but then charged us nearly 5 bucks extra to code it as a side of sausage. I get sometimes places have to work around things a bit but this was excessive when they obviously were able to add bacon to the plate. We have been looking forward to the try this place since we live close by. Two star because food is decent but service and cleanliness deserves one star. When we checked in, the place was busy with long lines. Hostess was chitchatting with someone while we stood in front of her for a good 2-3 minutes with no acknowledgement. Then once our table was ready were told we would be seated right away, another 5 minutes before some one came to seat us. Our waitress was unfriendly and impatient. She came by once told us food will be right out. We asked after a while where our food was she ignore us and walked away. 20 minutes late we got the food. Waffle was good. Pancake was dry. Potato was overly salted. Frittata was dense and over cooked. Chia bowl was great. Then the worst part, there is hair on my food! No apologies from the waitress. Honestly we had a rough time here. The staff is friendly but really slow. We waited over 30 minutes to be seated then after we were seated it took the server over 10 minutes before he even noticed us there. Again he was super nice and that was great. I ordered a mimosa and hot coffee. They give you a glass with orange juice and a full small bottle of champagne to add in yourself. (Which I love!) Also great thing is they leave the hole pot of coffee at the table so drink a whole pot if you choose too. Now time for our food. We ordered omelets and a kids scramble with bacon. They all came with toast and a side. We picked fruit. Fruit was great and fresh. Food though was cold and seemed to have been sitting a bit too long. My sons bacon was over crispy as I'd even say super burnt. The scramble looked like a 1 year old serving. Our omelets were small like really small and everything tasted as if I bought box meats from the store and microwaved them. Food so cold Cheese was not melted. Food was pricey for what it was. Honestly it was overly loud. You could not carry on a conversation at all. Server came to us maybe 3-4 times total. I know I would have had at least another drink if the server came over more. Again I want to stress that they were all very nice. Just service and food quality did not match the price. I left hungry and with a headache. That being said the lady who I believe was a manager asked us how our visit was. I think she heard us talking while at the table. I told her what I thought and how I wish it was better and she took care of us. I was honestly not going to go back but that made me consider going back on a slow day and trying something else out. Went for brunch today and had a real deal five star meal. Short wait (10 minutes at 10:45 am on a Sunday) but accurate estimate for seating time with a convenient text. Got sat and quickly offered coffee and got our drink order taken. Atmosphere is good and the coffee was tasty and hot. The wife had the barbacoa Benedict and was very happy with it. I had the roast beef and havarti and man, what a good sandwich. Extremely well balanced between the unctuousness of the roast beef and cheese with the acidity of the roasted tomato. The Parmesan crusted sourdough was amazing. Like, I real deal want to shake the hand of the guy who came up with this sandwich. Rest of the meal went great, coffee and water refills were on time, and payment was easy - btw, you pay up front and not at the table. Really wish places would tell you that up front but whatever. I was very impressed with this restaurant! I was looking for a brunch place near that area, and this place was the only restaurant that was open before 11am! [Food] Food was absolutely delicious. I got a lemon ricotta pancake, and it was light and fluffy. I definitely tasted the ricotta cheese in the pancake - the cheese was not overwhelming at all. The pancake was topped with marinated berries and creamy lemon curd so it definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. Portion size is huge. I was full after finishing 2/3 of the pancake! [Service] The waitress did her job. She regularly refilled my water cup and checked up on me. But nothing really stood out to comment that she was an exceptional waitress. After you are done with your meal, you bring your bill and pay it up front. I really like this because you don't have to wait for your waiter to bring back your card and bill.
