    This is toast??? WTF?
    Kyle T.

Now, I have to say that I have been to several of these places before...FL, OH and I think some other places...this one just happened to be pretty bad! Now the biggest thing was not the service which was pretty good, ambiance was good, coffee..OK. The big thing with this one was the food. Maybe I ordered wrong, maybe I was expecting too much, I don't know! Now I admit, I ordered a frittata instead of an omelette ...what was I thinking. I really wanted toast too and it said it came with toast, like any breakfast thing! Now when this showed up the issue was it wasn't really a Frittata ...it tried but was a very poor example of one. It also didn't come with toast! It came with this like half a soft breadstick thing..that wasn't really uncooked but was far from toasted...and it had way too much of like this butter substitute on it! To be clear, it was gross! This is not normal for this place, this chain..or maybe it is...I guess I will have to pay attention next time and not order the Frittata ! KT

Stopped in on the way to the airport. Food amazing ! Service even better. It's a great breakfast spot. I have the seasonal special steak and eggs special. Large portions. There pancakes and waffles were a hit with the grandkids.

Birthday Brunch! It was my birthday this day and it was a great start at First Watch. Prompt service, delicious food with healthy options, I had the power wrap and kids granola bowl, both were excellent! Ambiance was delightful!

As someone who boycotted First Watch for the past 10+ years due to poor experience at the Kirkwood location, I can honestly say today's meal changed my opinion!!! The seasonal donut holes were fabulous and the apple butter from it paired well with the power wrap. Our server was so kind and the location itself was nice. We enjoyed the patio space :) Thanks for changing my mind!

Another breakfast date with hubby and it was a success. Chanel was our server and I must say she was great. She was very helpful, friendly, eager to assist and available at all times for any of our needs . I ordered an omelette with all the fixings i personally crave and a seasonal fruit bowl. Hubby ordered the elevated egg sandwich and cheesy grits and seasoned potatoes. For drink we ordered the pitcher of Blackberry Bramble Sangria. Hubby was so excited I had to hold him back from searching for the chef to kiss on the lips lol. 10/10 meal today . Service was quick and fresh to order! Kudos to management!

Let me just start off by saying I have an obsession with both carrot cake and juicing so to get both in one sitting was awesome! The Kale Tonic breakfast drink is always one of my go TOS's here. It's the perfect balance between savory and sweet. That Carrot Cake Pancake deserves its own shine because that thing was stellar! The food was amazing, and so was the atmosphere! It was the perfect zone for morning reflection and my waitress was super nice with great conversation. I enjoyed the food very much it was so fresh and seasoned to perfection. I will be returning to this location.

I placed an order online today for pickup and received burnt food. My potatoes were burnt to a crisp, my French toast was slouchy and not done in the middle. I ordered the Floridian French toast and the fruit was browning and looked old. I called and asked to speak with a manager and was on hold for 20 minutes and no one ever came to the phone. I made all the way to work with nothing to eat though I just spent money and tipped. I'm never going back to this place. I don't recommend ordering from here. It's not worth your time, money or energy. I will be disputing the charges on my credit card. I am very irritated that someone would burn food to a crisp and serve it to someone, who clearly stated to lightly cook potatoes!! WOW! THANKS ALOT!

Hungry for breakfast and this was close by. Got a carrot cake pancake... One was plenty. Great service. Everything went right. Was just me and they got me in quick despite the crowd. Family friendly and good parking... But place was pretty busy. Kept me filled with my drink and I'd come back in a flash!!

I always enjoy the experience and the food here. My last visit was with a group of friends, 9 of us to be exact. I joined the waitlist online but could only list for 6. I was able to call the restaurant and confirm with the manager that they could handle a large group. We got seated and perused the menu. We had to try the million dollar bacon and let me just say it melts in your mouth. Oh my it's so delicious and maybe it's because I haven't had bacon in forever but I don't remember bacon tasting that good! I settled on the chickichanga omelette with breakfast potatoes. I was very satisfied and already craving more. And of course I washed it all down with the kale tonic because...you gotta get your veggies right? I enjoyed my cheat day, hope you enjoy yours.

The truly unfortunate part? We were entertained right up until the musician stopped singing and started communicating. Apparently, the microphone was doing a lot of heavy lifting for his personality. Great voice. Terrible decision to introduce us to the man attached to it. While taking a break from performing, he came onto the deck where I was sitting with my friend and decided that publicly talking down to and humiliating a woman was how he wanted to spend his intermission. The interaction was misogynistic, demeaning, disrespectful, unnecessarily cruel, and an absolutely bizarre amount of hostility to direct toward a woman he doesn't even know. Here is the thing about rape culture: it does not exist only in the most extreme acts. It is also sustained by the everyday normalization of misogyny, humiliation, hostility toward women, and the expectation that women should quietly tolerate degrading behavior and call it a joke. When a grown man feels comfortable publicly belittling a woman and everyone around him is expected to dismiss it as harmless banter, that behavior contributes to the same culture that teaches men their hostility toward women is acceptable and teaches women to simply endure it. Imagine being hired to entertain customers, successfully entertaining them, and then using your break to personally ensure they never come back. That is a level of customer service I almost have to respect for its efficiency. What bothers me almost as much as his behavior is knowing this is someone the establishment chose to hire as entertainment. I came for drinks and live music. I did not realize the entertainment package included a talented singer followed by complimentary misogyny on the patio. Women should be able to sit outside with their friends, have a drink, laugh, and exist in public without a grown man deciding their evening needs an unsolicited serving of humiliation simply because he feels entitled to deliver one. There are plenty of establishments in St. Charles where women can spend their money without being treated like shit by the hired entertainment, so I will happily spend mine somewhere else. And to the musician responsible: great addition to rape culture. Whatever war you are fighting with women, or yourself, I sincerely hope you figure it out someday. But if the only way you can feel tall is by trying to make a woman feel small in front of her friends, you were never standing very high to begin with. Maybe stick to singing. You were considerably more likable when none of us knew your personality. "Do not see Kevin Babb"

Freshly prepared, perfect balance of spices, etc and I always feel welcomed to the clean dining room though they seem to do a lot of take out too. The kabob as a sandwich said it came with fries and I cannot skip these fries when I come here. They are so good! The kabob was the perfect portion, wrapped with some onions and maybe other things in a pita. I enjoy the middle eastern music that typically plays in the restaurant. Because the place is rarely crowded it never feels loud. The folks who work here are friendly and genuinely want to know how the meal is, if you need anything. Then I forgot all about it until I was suddenly reminded of it the other day when I was on my way somewhere else. I needed to get a burger (literally, needed), and it occurred to me that this place has a burger. Parking at this little strip is decidedly limited, and I could definitely see that being a pain at times. What were all those people doing at about 11:30 AM on a Saturday, applying for car title loans? Picking up some bath salts for that evening's festivities? Getting some glitter on their face at the nearby pastie bar, if that's still there? Inside was surprisingly tidy and inviting, as if they were expecting a visit from someone other than myself. There's a surprisingly large seating area, for a place that has a takeout vibe. Similar restaurants up and down Page and elsewhere in the general vicinity just have a counter where you can place an order and maybe one of those ledges where you can stand there and eat. It occurred to me that I might get something other than a burger, but their menu is kind of a pain for a blind person, and I also never learned to read well, so I get self-conscious when I'm standing there trying to sound out the words and I sense that the cashier realizes that I can't read. Fortunately, there were no cute girls in line. I would have had to just wing it. I was leaning towards getting the chicken wings, but I figured a chicken wing is a chicken wing, right, and I was already kinda thinking about getting a burger. The burger I got was called the Pali Burger, and it's supposedly different from a regular burger. I think it's made with a mixture of beef and lamb, and it's got some sort of special sauce on it. This ended up being kind of a bust. If there was any special sauce on this burger, the application was sufficiently light as to be nonexistent, and the meat blend seemed to only serve to make it less fatty than it would have been if it were all beef. Otherwise, it was good. It was a surprisingly generous serving--maybe half a pound of beef--and the bun and toppings were all fresh and high quality. The french fries were just frozen fries from a bag like you might get at the grocery store, but they were sprinkled with something or other that caused me to tear through them as if I were famished and then wish I had more of them. While I was eating, the lady who took my order brought me a cup of something called Pali Sauce (literally every third thing they sell there is called Pali, including the soda). Was this supposed to be on the burger? By the time she gave it to me, I was almost done with the burger. She'd only brought the burger out maybe a minute before, but I eat quickly, like I'm in jail and I'm not trying to share my fruit cocktail with Nasty Nate. I dipped what was left of my burger in it and also my fries. It was delicious--like a steak sauce maybe, but with more of a Middle Eastern flair. If I were to return, I wouldn't get the burger again, but I'd try to find something else with that on it.
