I've been here plenty of times and have never written a review, but every time I go it is so consistently good I feel like it's about time! The food is so fresh, the staff are always friendly even if it's crazy. As a coffee drinker, good coffee is important and hot or iced, First Watch has you covered with actually good coffee. I also don't think this location gets as loud as other ones, perhaps it is smaller. I've been obsessed with their 'million dollar potatoes' - it's worth the upgrade on your side of potatoes!

I tried the shrimp and grits special and to my surprise it was very tasty. I love shrimp and grits but everyplace can't make it. Nice balance with savory flavors of shrimp and andouille sausage. Service was kind but a little slow, I had to walk up to counter and get the check. Ambiance was cool and relaxed as well.

As a small stop on our trip to see family in Missouri, First Watch has never failed to feel like home. The service provided by Luis at this location was top-notch, very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The dining room was very clean and the central lighting fixture was beautiful. We were seated as a party of four immediately due to checking in online. My wife enjoys the seasonal breakfast burrito, stating it has a bit of a kick in the spice department but it elevated the taste of the avocado/cheese/meat combination. My trifecta breakfast platter was especially notable for the warm berry compote that topped the powered sugared Belgian waffle, and the bacon was perfectly crunchy and salty. Very balanced meal between salty and sweet, a perfect breakfast combo. Thank you to Luis and the team for starting our trip off smoothly.

Food was fresh and leaves you feeling great, I absolutely loved the chia seed pudding and almond butter artisan bread toast. The best part about this menu is that they give you a calorie count most places don't do. The server was quick with the food and drinks, served with a smile and only added a comforting feeling to the already lovely farm pathetic in the environment.

We all know First Watch is solid. I think my favorite thing I've had thus far is the this summer special Carnitas Breakfast Quesadilla. So good!! And I love how the colors make it such a pretty dish. My nephews always get the chocolate chip pancake. Be sure to get the whipped cream smiley face! The service was great. Short wait.

First Watch simply doesn't disappoint. All of the menu items always look delicious, it's so hard to choose what I want. They switch up the menu with the seasons so there are constantly new foods to try. I have never disliked one of my meals from First Watch. I also never feel gross and greasy after eating here which is how I feel sometimes leaving other breakfast restaurants. They offer breakfast and lunch - I've gone for both and it's allll tasty. The service can get a bit slow when they get busy. You can get in line on the app which is definitely the way to go on the weekends if you don't want to wait for a table. They're busy for a reason !!

Recently stopped here for breakfast and our wait was quite long (and about 20 minutes longer than we were quoted, that being said - our server was very kind and gave good guidance on what food to order! Once seated, our food arrived quickly! I enjoyed the churros a lot and my sandwich was good. The butternut squash soup was not my favorite - I won't order it again and would not necessarily recommend it. It's a loud spot because of the small space, but is a nice spot to stop with the family for breakfast!

The first time here and both, my wife and I were WOWED by not only the comfy feeling once we entered the restaurant, but the food itself, along with the service, was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, starting with a side order if their very tasty bacon! I then ordered the traditional breakfast, which included two eggs, yummy toast, crispy potatoes, and smoked ham! It was more than enough food and tasted delicious! My wife ordered the multi grain pancakes, topped with blueberries and bananas, greek yogurt, and berry compote! Very tasty, and we both would definitely return to this restaurant!! If you are ever in the Missouri area, they have numerous locations, and I would highly suggest you try any one of them!!

My husband and I snuck out for breakfast without the kids and decided on First Watch (St.Peters). We joined the list on our way over, and were seated within minutes in Ms. Laura's section. From the first "Hello" Ms. Laura was different. Not only did she take excellent care of us, but she did it with KINDNESS! You see, Laura may not have realized this because it's second nature to people like her. We felt as though she knew what we wanted, (Get the Breakfast Tacos! In all my visits I've never tried anything different but trusted her word they were her favorite.) She treated us like family and we had never even met! It was like old friends coming for a visit! In this moment it wasn't about the pandemic, it wasn't about politics, it was pure and genuine Kindness! (and of course which flavor pancake to add on) It's people like Laura who make a difference in someone's day and guess what, she sure made mine! My wife and I decided to go out to breakfast to celebrate our 40th Anniversary and chose Frist Watch. What a mistake that was. We both ordered the Eggs Benedict, well my wife's eggs could have been used a mini hockey pucks and my eggs were ice cold! We left without eating anything! Please show your staff and especially your cooks the attached picture of how Eggs Benedict are supposed to look! These are from Black Bear Diner. Amaze Balls! Best avocados toast I've ever tasted! And my husband offered me a taste of the "Million Dollar Bacon". Delicious! Coffee is great, service excellent, decor bright and modern. AND the Bathrooms are clean. Great place! And servers are wearing masks...nice! read more

If you go to first watch in the mornings, be sure to get "in line" through the app. There are usually busy, but for a reason. We had an amazing waitress, Ann. If you go there. Ask for her. She is funny, attentive and willing to go the extra mile to make you happy. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, my favorite breakfast app is the grits. The potatoes are also a must have and was on point at our most recent visit. We will come again! read more

I only have been here 2 times and both times it has been a great experience. Right as you walk in you can already feel a good vibe due to the welcoming staff and the atmosphere. We were greeted at the door and got seated right away. The menu is great it has variety of different breakfast choice from sandwiches, omelettes, and pancakes! I went with the Avocado Toast which is served with two fresh eggs. I didn't excepted to be a big portion but it definitely was! The toast is packed with fresh avocado and the eggs are cooked to perfection! This is easily one of my favorite spots for breakfast! read more

My wife and I are regulars at First Watch, St. Peters. (PS: We enjoy it in St. Charles, Kirkwood, and on Telegraph as well.) We love Sunday brunch before or after church. We love the servers, the service and overall sense of genuine hospitality. I normally lean to the healthier side of the menu. One reason we choose First Watch is their cleaner menu. Having said that, I was totally surprised to find that you use peanut butter with hydrogenated oil in it. I really encourage First watch to go through the menu items and remove any altered additives, whether its hydrogentated oils or high fructose corn syrup (haven't checked to see if there are any menu items with this latter item.) So, we love breakfast, but I believe healthier foods (eg, AM Superfoods) should come with cleaner ingredients. Keep it great and keep it cleaner. Thanks! read more

We come to St Louis every six months and have totally missed First Watch. But now that we've found it, you can bet we'll be back. The food really was terrific. Sandwiches were tasty, but the Tomato Basil Soup was the best I've had. The Yelp Check-in worked great and our server was very personable. I don't think you can go wrong with this place. read more

Came by at noon and still got seated super quickly! Food is a little more expensive than your average breakfast joint but the quality is worth it. Had a great morning out with the family. I finally found my choice of a breakfast restaurant! I love any kind of vegetable especially in an omelet. So healthy and delicious! The aroma and the atmosphere is so comfortable and the smell of coffee is a real wake me up! The staff of First Watch are great! I had a never ending cup of coffee thanks to their servers. OMG, I love this place! It's very similar to Panera, except it's wayyyy better and not as expensive. Service is pleasant and food is so fresh! I was very impressed with their salad and veggie sandwich. Honestly blows bread co out of the water. My only complaint is that it should be open all day! read more

Came here for the first time while in St. Louis and was quite impressed. The food was great and the service just as good. Ordered an omelette, fruit, potatoes and toast and all was delicious. It all tasted fresh and good. If your a coffee drinker I would recommend ordering some here as well. There's not many healthy choices when in St. Louis but this place is it. Don't turn away if the line to get in is long as it moves quite quickly. The inside decor is pretty cool and well thought out. Prices are what they should be. I may have found a new favorite place for breakfast/brunch when in St. Louis. read more

The breakfast exceeded all expectations! Has set a new standard for fresh, healthy, and incredibly delicious food. Couldn't believe how amazing the million dollar bacon was, perfect blend of spice and sweet. Then I tried their smoked salmon eggs benedict and am left speechless with how perfect this meal was. Stopped for brunch at 10:30 during the week and was surprised to see the wait was 30 minutes. The restaurant was steadily full the entire time we were there. The restaurant is bright and cheery and very clean. The staff was pleasant and very informative on their menu offerings. I had the BLT Eggs Benedict and my friend had the French Toast. We split a side of millionaires bacon. Everything was hot and tasty. I went with the greens instead of the potatoes and it was a good choice in that it helped cut the richness of the dish. I think the star of the meal was the millionaires bacon. It was sweet and salty with a little kick to it! YUMMM read more

Ate here yesterday and it was great! Laura- our waitress was wonderful as well. Got the market hash and I'm dreaming if it because it was so good. Also had biscuits and gravy- 2 biscuits smothered cost 5$ which is okay just not sure if it was worth it. If you come on a weekend plan to wait for a table. My boyfriend and I come here every Saturday for our weekly brunch date. We usually join the waitlist online so there's little to no wait when we get there. The staff is always super nice and the food comes pretty quickly. My boyfriend is vegetarian so it can be difficult to find a place with multiple options for him but First Watch has plenty! I love this place for brunch. The Millionaire's Bacon and the Morning Meditation are amazing. On Sundays there is usually a wait but well worth it. We use our No Wait App to get on the list and then hit the DSW next door. It is a win win. They have season favorites that are fabulous as well. Expensive, fake, snobby, slow, lukewarm. We have eaten here a few times but it's always the same slow service lukewarm food expensive. Not worth the price in my humble opinion. I would compare this to Starbucks Coffee. Is a coffee really worth 5 to $10 a cup? To some people it is. Some people think the food must be good if you wait longer. Good luck read more

First of all, we made reservations through the Yelp app and we were given a reservation time that would allow us to basically walk in and sit down right away. We had to wait an extra 10-15 minutes anyway. The server didn't seem too interested in us, wasn't very friendly or personable, and only visited us twice during our 45 minutes meal. Everyone else was very kind and willing to make conversation. The food was a varied experience for me, though. The things my boyfriend ate were much better than what I ate (can't remember what he ordered), with one exception. The Millionare Bacon was fabulous! I feel like the pumpkin pancake I ate was okay, but relatively flavorless and not sweet enough for my taste. The syrup helped. The chicken sausage was something I'd never had before. It was odd, but it was okay. I probably won't order what I did, with the exception of that bacon! Last time I had the omelette and it was delicious. I'll probably stick with that next time. I would have given this visit a 3 star had it not been redeemed by the bacon, my boyfriend's food he let me try, and the funny cashiers and guy who gave us water. read more

The manager came out and explained it can only be cleaned off with a power washer and that is done once a week. (Obviously not today!) She (manager) did cover the soiled area with a damp dish towel. When our order came out the food was mixed up on the plates---my eggs, husband's sausage, etc. The plates were removed and brought back out. Unfortunately the food was not as ordered and now too cool to eat as well as not prepared as ordered. We were offered a redo of our food but declined at that point. Sad to say we will not return.

Beyond that, Upshot offers an ample menu of other breakfast and lunch options; my wife ordered a Turkey Sando and custom-made iced vanilla latte with oatmilk. We don't get that many beautiful days in the midst of St. Louis winter; I'm glad I could spend one at Upshot's flagship cafe, and excited to see how their other locations compare.

As someone who is currently serving, I believe the decision to limit military discounts only to currently serving members, while excluding veterans and past service members, is short-sighted and potentially harmful to First Watch's reputation. Veterans have sacrificed years of their lives in service to our country, and their contributions *do not end* the day they take off the uniform. Many businesses recognize this by extending the same courtesy to veterans as they do to active-duty members, acknowledging the lifelong impact of military service. Restricting the discount may inadvertently send the message that veterans are less valued, despite the fact that their service and sacrifices helped secure the freedoms and opportunities we enjoy today. By including both active-duty and past military members, First Watch would demonstrate a deeper commitment to honoring all who have served, building goodwill within the military community and fostering customer loyalty. Favorite Place for breakfast! Not only is this place convenient to our home...they serve great food- my god, I haven't had this level of comfort in some time. It reminds me of that ideal spot to go every Sunday regardless of what the schedule is. My wife and I love it, and the kids have a blast as well. Sorry, wanted to reiterate the fact that the customer service here is amazing. Usually I'd pick a Bob Evans or something similar=which isn't bad, but it sometimes staffed by people w/'questionable' character in my opinion. Look, no big deal...but the last thing I want my kids to look at Saturday and Sunday morning at breakfast is a rough looking middle aged woman with a tattoo on her neck wreaking of cigarette smoke. I'm not trying to pass judgement here...I come from a trailer park and have a bunch of tattoos under long sleeves .... I just think early morning, is a crucial time to be the most 'polished' no matter who you are if you're going to be out in customer service.
