This place is very, very overpriced. My wife had one large (plate size) pancake and four slices of bacon for $11. There was four in our group. Their breakfast came out and mine came out eight minutes later. The waitress said they made a mistake and had to remake it. The kitchen staff needs to be retrained along with the wait staff. First Watch is adorable and quaint, with a great selection for healthy eaters! I ordered the egg white omelet and found it to be on the dry side, but it tasted good. Likewise, the potatoes seemed not to have been cooked long enough, but I tend to like mine on the crispy side. The whole grain toast however is TO DIE FOR. I would order a loaf and sit there with a bucket of their fresh preserves and eat toast for days. It is so dense and yummy and just delicious! I asked if they sold it by the loaf and they said they got it from a local bakery but could not tell me where...so now I just go back for the mysterious toast. The staff was friendly, orderly, and very helpful to my husband and I on our first visit. Funny story...for the longest time we thought it was a bank. If you've seen it, you know what I'm saying. My family and I visited here today, I joined the waitlist from home and it told me that I had a 45 min wait but when I arrived as the 3rd place in line I still had to wait about another 25 mins or so. Our waitress LaVette was sort of indecent but not horrible. She was very mouthy and suggesting items to not get even though we were thinking about trying since it was our first time visit. I feel some of her remarks were sort of rude but ultimately unprofessional but I guess this was her way of trying to interact with us. Had to ask for straws and refills. She disappeared at one point and the food took FOREVER to come out. She calmed down and was a little nicer towards the end of our visit. Over all, I was more than pleased with the food but the service could definitely improve. Didn't really get the WOW experience we were expecting. read more

I came here for the first time on Mother's Day and had a great experience. To start, the wait was long (45 minutes or so), but it didn't feel that long at all: the managers who were overseeing everything kept checking on everyone, there was coffee to go around, several chairs for waiting inside and outside, and the clientele waiting were friendly. Once we got to our table, our waiter was quite nice as well as knowledgeable. One of us can't eat gluten, and instead of giving us a knowing smirk like many waiters are inclined to do (as if it's a fad diet), he indicated that he understood completely, and it was sincere. The food was worth the wait: veggie omelet ("Veg'd Out") with breakfast potatoes and fruit, and the "Bacado" omelet. We didn't try any of the special drinks or desserts or anything. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I returned from the restroom to find a small package of chocolates at my place from the manager (it was a gift they were giving to all mothers that day). The only thing I wish they had that they don't are mimosas, but maybe it's a liquor license thing, or maybe I shouldn't be thinking about alcohol at 10 in the morning anyway... Unfortunately, I don't find myself in Snellville all that often, but next time I'm in the area, perhaps in combination with a trip to Chateau Elan, I will be returning. read more

Service, although very nice, is also very slow. I have nothing against the menu itself, the food is very filling. My main concern lies with the pricing. Very costly. I walked in expecting to pay 8-9 dollars for breakfast and ended up paying double that. They serve you coffee as soon as you are seated without telling you that they will charge you for it, and a small cup of orange juice is 2 dollars?! They use free range eggs, so the yolks are much more orange than yellow. I think it taste better! Anyways, went here for the first time and there's a few things that could be better. One of my glass has a defined lipstick on the outer rim of the it. Then I also had a stained fork. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and the spinach were somewhat wilted. Wilted spinach are not fun to eat. They have a distinctive smell to it. On a better note, I thoroughly enjoy my breakfast. It was served with a fruit cup and some jam. My partner in crime ordered the Tri-fecta and was disappointed. He assumed it was a much larger portion from the description and it was actually less than the kid's meal. Which is odd, the kitchen may have gotten it wrong? But the kid's platter which consist of scrambled eggs, pancake and sausage had 2 sausage links and a fruit cup. The trifecta just seems scanty compared to the kid's meal. I'm so glad to have recently found such a healthy breakfast - lunch restaurant here in town. Despite the heavy traffic in the area and usually having to wait to get a table on the weekends, it's definitely worth it, I usually order a Day Glow juice, decaf coffee, and an Avocado, Bacon, and Tomato Hash which comes with a toasted english muffin with jam and a very small serving of mixed fruit. While the fruit is often under-ripe and flavorless, the rest of the dish is wonderful and filling. I especially love the Day Glow juice and order an extra to-go cup for the road. I just can't get enough of it! My reason for only giving this 4/5 stars has to do with the restaurants cleanliness. I often see food on the floor, have received stained cloth napkins, and was given a plate that looked like someone had smeared black grease all over it, I recently left a comment about this on the First Watch website and received a prompt phone call the next day from the manager, who sincerely apologized and said they would be making big changes to ensure that the restaurant was always clean. I would definitely recommend eating here if you enjoy a good, healthy meal. These changes in sanitation seem genuine, so don't let that stop you from checking this place out! read more

Sat down and ordered around 2, and then didn't get our food until 2:30-ish. We were famished!! They definitely need to work on this... I ordered the Market Hash, which was very tastey. Dad liked it too and he's a big foodie. (Two eggs* any style atop a hash of fresh, seasoned potatoes, house-roasted Crimini mushrooms, zucchini, onions and red peppers with spinach, melted mozzarella and herbed goat cheese.) Dad ordered the Salmon Frittata, which I thought was really delicious. However, he complained that it wasn't fluffy and a little too flat (like a pancake). Would I come back? Not just yet... Fresh food and very healthy and creative options!! Staff: Honestly ... amazing! Very nice and they genuinely seem like they truly like their job! There is one woman in particular that was outstanding, but I can't remember her name. I'll update this if I find out! She brought samples of the summer juices because we did not know what to order, suggested some great muffins, etc. just very personable and nice! I had been waiting for this place to open for awhile because Snellville is in desperate need of more restaurants, especially ones that aren't major chains. We went right before 2 pm and we didn't have a wait...perfect timing. The menu includes turkey sausage so that was an immediate plus for me. We both had the Trifecta which was just enough food and we didn't feel overstuffed. Hubby went with the carrot cake pancake and I went with the pecan pancake. They were both good. The carrot cake was not overly sweet, which was a good thing for him (he even asked another server how it was cause our server had not eaten that flavor). But I liked how the server said that she would replace it if he didn't like it plus the other server stopped by to make sure he liked it later. Overall, I am looking forward to visiting again soon to try out the rest of the menu with the kids...or not. read more

Had a great experience here! Came on a Sunday at 12:30 expecting a long wait but only had to wait 20 mins for a party of 2. The service was quick and we got our food within 10 mins after ordering. Food was delicious! My friend and I ordered two skillets, chocolate chip pancake and biscuits and gravy. When we were first served I thought the portions were average sized but they were more filling than I expected. The biscuits and gravy was the best I've tried in a long time! Our waiter said that they had everything to make it..minus the mint.. Such a miss... For 4 adults & 2 kids.. the total of our bill came to $66 & some change. Add my usual 20% gratuity...equals $75.
