My options were limited since I don't eat pork and a majority of their meat is pork. They do have a chicken sausage, but looking at pictures. The patrons were even extremely polite to get us up to the bar to be able to get our drinks and that is highly unusual for most places in the Tampa area. The menu blends classic soul food (fried chicken, mac and cheese) with a strong New Orleans Creole influence -- gumbo, jambalaya, fried seafood, cornbread. Portions are enormous. We started with the deviled eggs ("D'Evils"), topped with fried chicken bites and lemon pepper dust -- excellent and surprisingly filling for just four halves. We also got the Nolia Clip, a vegan gumbo base loaded with fried shrimp, crabmeat, turkey sausage, and a full catfish filet -- essentially an entree-sized bowl on its own.
