FOOD: 5/5 SERVICE: 5/5 AMBIANCE: 5/5 - Dined with my family of 6 (5 eating/1 infant) on a Wednesday for Brunch (12pm) - Checked in the "waiting line" online when we left our house (15 mins) and were seated immediately. - Baby sling was provided for my infant son in his car seat. (i always like to add baby/infant accommodations if a restaurant has them as these are always a plus for families like mine) - Service was excellent: our server was attentive and we were waited on promptly. We had coffee, which was provided in a thermos carafe in the table. Quality of coffee was great, strong and hot - Food ordered: - 1) BLT Benedict: i thoroughly enjoyed this dish, the arugula and avocado were a really nice touch and added a nice dimension to the flavor profile of this traditional breakfast. My poached egg was a little over cooked (no runny yolk when cut open), but was still wonderful - 2) Lemon Ricotta Pancakes: 2 huge pancakes paired with a lemon butter. there was ricotta throughout the pancakes which were really nice to have with each bite. Scrumptious and my daughter approved. - 3) Traditional Breakfast (Scrambled Eggs & Bacon): Ordered this for my 7 year old son, thinking the kids menu might not be enough food, but this was was definitely a big breakfast. My son especially loved the toast and bacon. he commented that the butter on the toast was superb - very creamy and rich. - 4) The Works Omelet: my husband had this and he gave his seal of approval (usually a tough critic). all the ingredients were high quality and executed very well. - 5) Chocolate Chip Pancake (Kids Menu): my 3 year old son had this and it was HUGE. this was not your run of the mill chocolate chip pancake, it was so rich and fluffy - definite win. - 6) Million Dollar Bacon: This was recommended as one of their signature dishes and we enjoyed it (savory and sweet at the same time with the slightest kick). Family preferred the standard bacon that came with all our meals but were happy to experience this signature dish - 7) Side Potatoes: These were really well executed home fries - flavorful, crispy exterior with fluffy potato inside. TL;DR - Best brunch spot we've been to in Pittsburgh to date. Quality and execution of food were top notch. Service was excellent, food portions were big (coming from someone who tends to over order assuming there won't be enough food). Go on a weekday if possible to avoid long wait times. read more

I love First Watch and this new location is very nice. Super convenient, clean, good amount of seating and I believe there are some spots designated for outdoors when the weather allows. I was here during their soft opening and service was already fine-tuned. Very fast and friendly. I got the A.M. Superfoods Bowl featuring coconut milk chia seed pudding with fresh bananas and berries, mixed berry compote and housemade granola with almonds. This came with whole grain artisan toast with almond butter and Maldon sea salt. Such a simple dish, but things like the berry compote and housemade granola, not to mention the sea salt on the toast, elevated everything and made it utterly delicious. You just feel good about eating food like this. I always feel like that about eating at First Watch -- the commitment to quality and healthful ingredients is so good and keeps me coming back. To drink, I got the Purple Haze with lemon, cane sugar, butterfly pea flower tea and a hint of lavender and it was as yummy as it is gorgeous. I hope they'll consider keeping this on the Juice Bar menu permanently. read more

Unfortunately, First Watch seems to have really suffered. Last few visits (not just to this Siena location) have been subpar for the chain. This visit to Siena location started off with the hostess who seemed to really not want to be there. No greeting or eye contact. Asked a question which she completely ignored and as she walked away said 'follow me'. That was the totality of seating. The server was great. But..food...meh. Quinoa power bowl said kale and cremini. Obviously they were firm on the singular form of the words. There was literally one single mushroom and 3 tiny pieces of kale. It was ridiculous. Anyway, I think it's probably time to find a new favorite breakfast place. None of the first watch places are recommended at this point. read more

This has to be the most overrated breakfast spots. The menu is large but the food isn't anything to brag about. I'm sure they use fresh ingredients but it still tastes like any other restaurant. Service and food were beyond awful. We used to love going to first watch but this was the last time. We waited for an hour and a half with three small kids before our food came out. The waitress didn't check on us once nor did she apologize for the delay in an HOUR AND A HALF! When the food did arrive the pancakes were so burnt they held their flat form when lifted from the plate. The sausage was also burnt to a crisp and inedible. Then on top of it the waitress forgot a whole order. How do you knowingly place multiple plates down at a table that were burnt to a crisp after they waited for an hour and a half for some pancakes? In summation we waited an hour and a half for inedible food with zero apologies from any of the staff. Stay far away from this place. They obviously do not know how to train their staff or run a restaurant. read more

HORRIBLE! Party of three this morning, they told us 45 minutes and we waited an hour and a half still haven't been seated. online check ins kept being pushed ahead of us. None of the staff was helpful with letting us know where we were in line. In fact they were rude and got annoyed when we would ask. The worst costumer service I've seen. read more

Arrived at 9:45am on sa Sunday, alot of empty tables. Entire room of tables were empty. People were waiting in the reception area. When i said table for 2, the restaurant said did you check in online? I answered no, then they said 30 to 40 minute wait. Not playing this game so we left and won't return. read more

I have always enjoyed First Watch. However, today 9/14/2022 at First Watch for lunch was very disappointing. The service was not good. The waitress dropped dressing on the table in front of me. She brought napkins and just set them on the table, and I was the one who cleaned up the mess. My Avocado Chicken Chopped Salad was served without the chicken. My friend's had an egg omelet that was rubbery. I asked for an iced tea refill that only happened when I asked again. I thought that First Watch would either discount or remove my salad from the bill. This in not very good PR for the restaurant. It seems that few people take pride in their work. I poor service was reflected in the tip. I was very disappointed. read more

The place looks nice but your hostess needs to have a better attitude and face. The moment we walked in, she already had a sour face like her day was just terrible. 2nd, I waited 40 mins for my half and half sandwich and soup , my soup was lukewarm so it was sitting out and the only good thing from this experience is that our waitress was friendly and pleasant. Went to First Watch on a Sunday morning so we expected a wait, about 30-40 minutes. The problem with the wait was that it was 36 degrees out and there was no heat in the restaurant. Also, tables were left for at least 15 minutes before anyone cleaned them. It was just as cold when we were seated. Our waiter came and said they were out of water glasses, he would bring us a couple plastic glasses. Never did. When our food came, one of our party didn't get her food, for at least 7-10 minutes after we did. The waiter came and asked if we needed anything else and we said, "Well her order isn't her." He didn't even notice. I ordered a pancake, which was over cooked and so dry, it was hard to swallow without a few sips of water. Everyone else's food was just average. I am hoping they work the kinks out but I would not recommend this restaurant. It was definitely not worth the wait. read more

My sister, my niece and I stopped in on February 13 after being up for two nights sitting by the bedside of my mom. She was a resident of Sunrise senior living. Mom passed away early morning of the 13th. We were exhausted,heartbroken and had not had a decent meal for awhile. Our waitress was wonderful. (Can't think of her name). She had dark long hair. We shared with her why we looked so disheveled. She couldn't have been nicer. The food was amazing. My first time there. When we asked for the check, the waitress told us that (I am guessing the manager) there would be no check, the meal was on them. God bless them for this kindness during this difficult time.
