First watch is an excellent place to have breakfast, they have a lot of great breakfast items, and even healthier ones like oatmeal. and avocado toast to list a couple. The food is very good. The service was very well as Mandy our waitress was very attentive making sure all was good and asked if we needed anything else. The ambiance? I can tell you it's very nice and clean inside, they have a lovely mural on back wall as you can see from one of the pictures I took. I love First Watch, but this location leaves much to be desired. They were having issues with their online waitlist when we arrived. Both my party and two parties behind us had joined ahead of time, but neither were showing on their end. Rather than being helpful, the blonde hostess was extremely rude and sarcastic. "Well you don't look like a Pedro so you didn't join" and wouldn't look at my phone to see my end on their app. Not the best way to start your patrons' experience. read more

I have been to other locations and enjoyed their frittata. Visited SR 45 location in Wesley Chapel and was seriously disappointed. Ordered the frittata with home fries. I could not eat the fries as they were extremely salty (I have never had salt issues with food in restaurants in the past, so I tolerate salt). I informed the server, who graciously offered other options because allegedly the potatoes salt was already in the pre-mixed. So, this is a watch out for any customer with HBP issues. The frittata was overcooked and dark, way beyond being gold, on the outside. At my arrival home, I wanted to explore if there were other salt complaints like mine and went into the web to check other reviews. I came across an article of inspection that referenced serious health violations on food handling hygiene. RIP location. read more

I had a saved draft of a 4 star review that I started after visiting a couple of times the first week this location opened. I'm glad I saved it to help me reflect on what I'm seeing now that the location has settled into its groove. One thing I appreciate about restaurants is seeing a consistency in the wait staff. That shows that management understands what great service brings to a location and they're working to keep the staff happy. And this staff is happy. They remember us, even when we haven't been there for a couple of weeks. Our drinks are always full. And, gosh darn it, they just seem like they're having fun at work. What a concept, right? I also really love the fact that I can have a big breakfast that is low carb and delicious. I don't know what they put on the greens that make them so addictive, but having a salad with an omelet is just divine. Another side effect of having great management and staff is that everything is spotless. I have yet to find a moment when the bathrooms weren't stocked, a table wasn't fully cleaned, or a disorganized kitchen. This location is a well-oiled machine! read more

First watch has become an expensive Denny's with servers literally sprinting around the dinning room, to the point where it is dangerous. Like today when a server bumped into a chair sending it crashing into my mom. Honestly, it's such a shame because the food is still good but they have lost all customer service. It seems like they just want you out of your table as soon as you sit down. The staff is not rude they just are rushing around so they don't have time for you. For example, we ordered coffee but never got the carafe that usually comes with it so we didn't get to refill our coffee until after the check came. I just feel like it's an expensive diner now slamming plates and slinging hash without care. Also whoever was working the toaster today Sunday May 27th 2025 we watched you burn toast to the point of ash honestly it was so bad that it started to smoke up the dinning room. How does that go unnoticed by management? How did no one stop that person who was massacring everyone toast?! I don't know what is going on but first watch is changing and not for the better. Happy to have a new First Watch in Wesley Chapel. I like to come here when I can during the week. It's nice and spacious at that time and I can't imagine how busy it can be during the weekend. I'm pretty sure there's a huge echo from everyone during the weekend when it is busy. They have booths, tables, inside and outside seating, and a bar which is a new addition in the newer First Watch locations. They also have an outside patio here. The sun faces it during breakfast. There is a cover over the patio but the sun shines directly to it. I do like their food here and whenever possible, if the seasonal menu sounds good to me, I opt for that. I have been to this location twice and I had a seasonal entree and then a regular entree which was the salmon benedict. Both were great. Their juices are great too and I've tried their morning meditation and had other juices they have had at other locations. My husband likes their Parma hash. It's a skillet with Italian sausage. This is not on their menu anymore, but they still make it when we ask for it. The hostesses are great and cheery, but both times we have gone the service with our servers have not been great. We do like the breakfast here when we visit, and it's convenient, new, & clean. Hopefully we will find a fave waitress soon, & stick with them when possible. read more

We were sat down immediately which was nice but it took just a bit long for the food to come and we ordered it right when we ordered our drinks. Also we never had anyone check up on us during our meal and they also didn't really offer much of a resolution to an issue with our food Food: 2/5 my food was good, I got the lone star brisket hash which was solid, seemed to be a little light on the brisket but my gf ordered hers which was disappointing on a lot of levels. Overall my combined experience is closer to a 2 but it's a new business and my specific entree was okay and it's a new business so I think a 3 is appropriate but If in being honest I probably won't visit this location until it has a chance to mature as a business, I do wish it the best of luck and will leave this somewhat neutral 3 star review read more

When the food came, there is no avocado in the bacon avocado, eggs Benedict. there's also no dressing on the salad and it took about 10 minutes to get these missing items. My toast was literally as if it's sat outside in the sun for a day and a half. Hard as a rock. Most of the food was cold, except for the home fries which were delicious. The space is more modern than many others and even has high top "bar seating." We weren't immediately greeted upon entry and stood for a minute or so before we were acknowledged. Once greeted we were seated at a booth and handed menus. Unfortunately, no one came to take our drink orders for at least 7 minutes. When the waitress did arrive she apologized but since it'd been so long we gave our full order. Overall, service was poor, which was confusing because they weren't busy. There were maybe 10 people total, including us. Our waitress was friendly but didn't come to check on us much, or when she did she was so slow at getting us what we needed we ended up asking another waitress. Our food was good, but I suggest First Watch add something to their avocado toast, as it's pretty basic. Its just toast and avocado and unfortunately my avocado was brown. First watch of Wesley chapel was great. The ambience and food were great but hurry in because the wait time on Sunday's are long. I waited because it was my wife and I but it still took 30 min. We almost left but I'm glad we waited. We had the Harissa hash which was flavorful but a little too spicy. Last Friday we had a HORRIBLE experience!! The bartender ignores people at the bar and the waitress' are constantly behind the small bar getting their own drinks! the bartender is constantly leaving the bar unattended and it's full of people!! Total chaos! We waited 36 minutes for a table which is okay BUT..... we were seated and after about 15 minutes we realized a waitress never came to see us! We asked at the podium who's our waitress. The host immediately asked why we sat dow, DUH! We were seated by a host. a waitress came to the table and said NO ONE was assigned to us!! The table next to us was also experiencing the same problem as we got them a waitress. our food was cold, 2 orders were wrong (3rd time). Went here for brunch after going to the lagoon it was fairly close. Upon entering the facility was very clean and we were greeted with a warm greetings from the hostess. We were seated at a both rather quickly and the waitress promptly came to our table. Given the number of people that were in the restaurant, the time that It took for the food to come out was very reasonable. I ordered the salmon Benedict and the new strawberry French toast - both were absolutely amazing. Everyone at the table raved about how good their food was.
