Out of my bookmarks and into my belly. Finally, after years of thinking about Brunchies, now I can talk about Brunchies-and there are good things to say. It's in a strip mall, along SR 54-west of Wesley Chapel, but not by much. It was bigger inside than I expected and had a cozy/quaint family feel to it. Lots of tables booths-busy on a Monday morning but no wait-and it wasn't loud-just "humming." My server came right away. He was polite and attentive and kept track of me well. I appreciated his offer of a to go cup for my water. This was going well. And then, there's the food. I ordered the goddess omelet-made with three egg whites, spinach and so much gorgeous, salty, tangy, glorious feta. I didn't wake up thinking I was going to have the best omelet of my life that day... but phhh, I did! It was filling, but not heavy or greasy. It was cooked to perfection-and the fillings were fresh and abundant. It came with potatoes (or grits) that were also cooked perfectly-not soggy or too hard-and lucky for me, no onions. It was also the perfect portion. Any more and I would have felt guilty for eating them all (I never leave a potato bite behind). And... after craving bacon for about a month... I gave in and got some-nice big slices, thick and crispy. This was a happy and tasty surprise. A clean, casual, yummy place with plenty of parking. Really nice spot. The customer service was great, extremely friendly staff. I had the chorizo omelette and although pretty flavorful, it was not spicy at all. In all fairness, the waiter did give me a heads up that it wouldn't be. I also had their sourdough for the first time, it was good. I would return. read more

I've visited several times and have always been pleased the quality of my orders and the atmosphere. The waffles topped with fresh fruit are a great option, topped with a colorful medley of berries and whipped cream. I am also a fan of the Florentine Benny. The poached eggs were perfect, layered over spinach and tomatoes and topped with hollandaise sauce...SO good!! Weekend brunch isn't complete without a peach Bellini. Service and the ambiance were okay. Nothing fancy just your typical diner feel. The cafe con leche was probably the best I had in Tampa. I have not been able to find good Cuban coffee in this area so I was extremely excited about that. We ordered the guava French toast, Alfredo burrito and some duck bacon. The burrito lacked flavor but nothing a little hot sauce couldn't fix. The guava French toast was amazing and i will definitely make a trip back just for the cafe con leche and French toast. It's a busy energetic diner vibe with plenty of families and kids. Cute local art on the walls makes me think I should paint something when I get home. Great breakfast choice! I was wanting a salad. Ended up with the half house salad (which was huge) and a half BLT (yummy but they serve it with no mayo, you need to ask for it) Perfect size. Good price. Hubby got the huevos ranchero Benny and he can't stop raving about it. Isaac, our server, was informative, friendly, and the perfect server. He kept tabs on us but wasn't intrusive. My party ordered the blueberry crunch pancakes and was very disappointed in it. They found it to be texturally off very soft with no sort of structure and tasted like batter. The bacon was overcooked which made it grainy also not enjoyable. The ultimate spicy skillet was recommended by the server and it was SO good! I loved how crispy the potatoes were. I had the eggs Benedict and my sister got the chunky monkey. Mine was delicious and she liked hers but said it was very sweet. She wished she had tried the guava French toast as that is what grabbed her attention when we were trying to decide where to go. I was definitely interested in the guava crepes but they come with strawberries on top which made me think the guava flavor might be covered up. The server was very attentive even though it was fairly busy. Prices were decent. The coffee was strong so I had the server take it away-I totally expected to be charged but she did not charge me so I appreciated that! We always get a great breakfast at Brunchie's with outstanding service. We've found that the lines are smaller or nonexistent during the week as compared to the weekends. My friend put me onto this place and everytime I'm in Tampa whether it's with her or someone else, this is where we go for brunch! They also have mimosas and mimosa specials! I did not get it one this time (I enjoyed my coffee) but if you love a good mimosa, try one, you will love them! The portions are great, I always eat all mine because ya girl is a foodie! Great brunch spot! They have a nice selection of cocktails. I really enjoyed the Peach Bellini! Coffee is great too. I ordered the Jose's Carnitas Omelette and a waffle for my daughter. I chose this place after finding it on yelp. I had the eggs Benny which were perfect with crispy lightly seasoned potatoes. Also had a mimosa that came in an 8oz glass. The juice was fresh. Mimosas come in other flavors and they also had a seasonal prickly pear. My husband had the Lutz Bubba. Biscuit and gravy with potatoes. Our son had the Chicken and waffles.
