We were out getting our Black Friday shopping done early and although, I had stuffed myself on Thanksgiving Dinner the night before, it's almost like my stomach forgets what it had the night before and starts at zero the next day. So, I was hungry and my husband looked up Brunch places on Yelp, and this happened to be in the same area as the shopping area we were at. I was so surprised to find out that this was a chain! Parking - there's parking spaces lining the stores and establishments in the shopping area. It was busy that day obviously, but we got lucky and got a space near the restaurant. What we ate - Million Dollar Bacon - YUUuuUuUuUM! Bacon baked with brown sugar and cayenne drizzled with maple syrup. Red Medicine - mix of Cranberry and Pomegranate juice with Cinnamon stick Hacienda Hash - came highly recommended by our waitress so my husband ordered one and dang it, I should have ordered one too. So so good! Farmhouse Skillet - This was prepared in a similar fashion as the Hacienda Hash. It had onions, avocado, bacon and sun-dried tomatoes (which were so so flavorful) underneath a bed of potatoes topped with the eggs. Banana Pancake - this is HUGE. There is a warning on the menu and rightfully so. It is the size of the plate and almost hangs over! Vibe - it is in a farmhouse decor with a modern twist, very rustic with old signs. It looked clean and fresh. Service - the waitress was sweet and made recommendations which were on point! Kid Friendly - although we didn't have our kids with us that day, I know they would have loved it! They would have freaked over the pancake! If you are lucky to have one of these locations near you, definitely check them out and have that Hacienda Hash! read more

Ample and open seating with nice patio seating along Daniels Rd and the Grove plaza, it is a delight. The patio seating has nice shading and umbrellas. Food, as always, is top quality and delicious. We had excellent service even though we were sat outside in the patio area. Will return when we are in area again. read more

First Watch Winter Garden and some pancakes that really made the morning. Not usually a fan of the overly "healthied up" pancakes. But the Superseed Protein Pancakes at First Watch really worked for me. It is a multigrain pancake batter base, but has some hemp, sunflower seeds and Flax in there... But wait for it... With the bananas and blueberries on top and this yogurt and kinda syrup like butter as well as a hot berry sauce that is served on the side... it was very good. As far as First Watches go, you can't go wrong with this location. First Watch has a wide variety of delicious, healthy breakfast and lunch options. My favorites are the elevated egg sandwich--an over easy egg, bacon (I actually replace this with ham), arugula, tomato, gouda cheese, and mayo, the roast beef & havarti sandwich, the pecan chicken salad, and any of their eggs benedict. The one thing that I've learned from coming here far too often is to stay far away from their frittatas. They're small and dry and very disappointing--no matter which one you get (I've tried 3!). The parking at this location is abysmal. Even if you come at an off time, you'll likely park a few minutes away, so plan on dropping people off at front if they have issues walking. There are 5 tables of outdoor seating at this location, and they do their best to keep it more natural feeling and not like you're backing up against a busy road and a parking lot (which you are). The service here is usually really good. The food comes out quickly, and drinks are refilled by many on staff, not just your primary waiter(ess). read more

Too many times we take the time to complain. This time I have nothing to complain about. I am picky and very much hard to please 100% in restaurants. My server Tarin is a gem of an employee. I have seen many servers. She was kind, attentive, respectful. No matter what other tables around me threw at her she was professional. She took the time to explain dishes instead of the usual short rude answers that one normally gets. She really is a great employee and you should make sure she knows it. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal at First Watch while visiting the Orlando area. Our server was very friendly and attentive despite the restaurant being very busy. I chose to have the summer special which was a Chorizo Elote dish and it was absolutely delicious! Really the only challenge with this location is that it is in a busy shopping mall so parking was quite difficult. One of my favorite places for breakfast. This location can tend to be very busy and have a long wait and there is limited parking. But the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and trying to get things moved through as quick as possible. I love all of the options that are available here and have had omelets, avocado toast, and traditional breakfast. The service has always been prompt, friendly, and attentive. The kitchen does a great job to keep up with the orders and get them out correct and quickly - hot and fresh. I always enjoy coming to this location as the service is always amazing. The staff are very welcoming and the food comes quite quickly. There's plenty of seating but I wouldn't recommend Saturday and Sunday mornings as they do get quite busy but if you use their app you can add yourself to the waitlist to avoid such a long wait. This was the best First Watch that I have visited. The wait was going to be at least 45 minutes so we walked over to Starbucks and relaxed with some delicious cold brew iced coffee. Once we were seated our waiter appeared with hot coffee and a great attitude. I ordered Smoked Salmon and Roasted Vegetable Frittata. It comes with a side salad or breakfast potatoes. The frittata was delicious and something that I would order again. I loved the quality of the salmon. My husband and daughter ordered the Everything Smoked Salmon Benedict and two large pancakes to share. We tossed in an order biscuits and gravy and the million dollar bacon. FOOD: There's a lot of options on the menu. Some options are healthier. I ordered the Swisshroom Omelet, and it was ok. It was big enough for me to feel satisfied eating half of it. The potatoes were a little bland, so I added hot sauce. My husband ordered the Floridian French Toast, and that was amazing. SERVICE: We only waited a moment for the hostess to seat another group. Our server was fantastic. She even got me a cup to take my coffee to go. ATMOSPHERE: First Watch is in the Winter Garden Village shopping plaza. It's a little busy and hard to find parking sometimes, but you can't fault them for that. The restaurant was clean. Great Easter Brunch! We checked in on the yelp app, and walked directly to our table when we got there. Our coffee was hot and delicious. I got the super goods bowl- and it was delicious. My kids were equally thrilled with their food! I also got, a 'morning meditation' drink- and it was delicious. It was super busy, but our waitress made us feel like we were the only ones there! Let me tell you something right now: I am crazy about my First Watch! You're going to see why in a minute. First off (no pun) our hostess Merra made our experience unforgettable. She is attentive and super friendly. Whatever our request, she ensures satisfaction. Always a pleasure coming here if she is our waitress. Secondly, I always order the same breakfast: lemon ricotta pancakes, millionaire bacon, morning meditation. Why? Because it's amazing. Look, I like my pancakes big, okay? They're not inexpensive and nothing is better than having those for leftovers! This last visit, Chef made my meal the best I've ever had it. And I've been to a First Watch or two or several. Sometimes my pancakes are small and could feed my tiny little 8 year old niece in one sitting. So when my pancakes are big enough for a grown person with a full time job, I get excited (it's a gluttony thing, if you don't understand). Also, get in line on Yelp. It is far better than the First Watch App. We were seated within accurate time. Wait time was like 2 minutes. I've eaten at this specific First Watch location a handful of times (closet to my home), but have also eaten at a few others in the general Orlando area over the years, but this is my first review of any... no particular reason, I just happened to be sitting here and decided to share after having just come back from the Winter Garden location for lunch. First off - First Watch food, overall - exceptional!! I've only tried maybe 3-4 different dishes, in more than at least a dozen visits in total, simply because I've found a couple of the standard menu dishes I really love, and are hard to beat... incidentally, for me, the Farmer's Hash, 3 eggs (that's 1 extra egg for anyone not familiar with it, and recently, sometimes with smoked salmon added - a server suggestion, and a really nice touch (and the $ add for the smoked salmon was SO reasonable, less than a few dollars, I was shocked, because it's high quality salmon, and it's not inexpensive). So let's talk food quality - Unbelievably fresh and flavorable, quality ingredients - each and every time!! And super generous portions (at least of everything I've ever tried). And prices are completely reasonable (and not so highly overpriced like so many places, especially for unique, quality ingredients). Flavor cannot be beat, and I've eaten at TONS of breakfast/brunch places over the years! Love that they offer flavored iced teas, in which the flavoring (which is sweetened) can be added to UN-sweetened black tea base, at least to lessen the sugar over already-sweetened iced tea. The menu here is ridiculous - always enticing, and never disappoints, especially in execution from the kitchen AND wait staff - always friendly and helpful. Ok, despite my rave... a few critiques... some applicable to ALL First Watch locations. Not everyone wants to sit on a rock hard bench/chair. Only some of the booths have slightly padded seating, but with rock hard backs. The rest are rock hard seats with rock hard backs... and some, a "padded" bench, with with a small, narrow piece of wood (literally) for leaning back again. Now I'm all for the idea of get people in and out and clear tables, but making seating uncomfortable is a big turn-off. It would completely turn me away if I didn't eat at hours that are generally less busy, and not accompanied by senior family members... just not comfortable on the back... or other parts. ;) And thank you, Winter Garden management for finally wising up and getting RID of the "test menu" that was in place for an extended period of time, wherein, the normally included artisan toast was NOT included any longer (with the price remaining the same, of course), thinking customers might be ok with that?! Especially when all other local First Watch locations still included the incredible artisan toast? Uh, no... seemed like it was discrimination against what might be perceived as patrons of the WG location maybe being able to afford less for more $, or who knows. Regardless, it's been remedied awhile back, so kudos for that! However, that being said, they're still trying to put small ones over on us clientele. Last 2 times I was to WG, they no longer include the small cup of fruit with the meal I dish to order. NOW it's only included with CERTAIN dishes. To their credit, both servers I asked about it were kind enough to immediately offer to bring me my familiar, and appreciated tiny cup of fruit (seriously, there are like a few pieces of melon, a couple strawberry slices, a couple grapes, and maybe a few blueberries. I mean, come on First Watch, we realize you have to manage costs, but let's not ruin a good thing here, and let's definitely not sneak things in/off the menus, like your valued customers are not going to realize... that is literally nickel and diming, which NO ONE appreciates. If you have to raise prices $.30 to cover the fruit, just do it! But don't leave customers with a less than fantastic taste in their mouths (literally and figuratively) by being cheap! There, I said it. All that being said, I can't give First Watch a 5-star rating for the few, obnoxious reasons mentioned, but it definitely gets a solid 4 starts for excellent, quality, tasty and fresh food I always enjoy. It's one of the few places, I dare say, my mouth literally waters every time I drive by (which is often, unfortunately!). read more

They have the virtual check-in which is very convenient, especially if you have a large party. At this location, the staff is very friendly and get you your food quickly.
