Fish Camp General two item pizza.

Ordered a two-topping pizza with pepperoni and mushroom. They didn't skimp on the toppings and it tasted great. Definitely worth the price for an easy, satisfying dinner!

Best sandwich I've ever had, big classic deli sandwich with and was very fresh. After hiking all week this was much needed. Store clerk (a lady who's name I didn't get) was so nice to us and loaded us up with food. Obviously very expensive like anywhere else in the valley but worth it. Shelves were mediocre but it was slow season so maybe that's why

We stopped here before heading into the south entrance to Yosemite National Park. It was a Saturday and the guys were setup under a tent grilling cheeseburgers and frying regular and sweet potato fries. They were temporarily out of the bbq brisket so we both got a cheeseburger with each of the two types of fries and it was delicious!! There was a little bit of a line getting into the park so we ate in the car on the way in. The guys were super nice and this was a perfect stop right before Yosemite where there isn't a good meal for miles!

Pulled pork but i still like bbq brisket

Awesome bbq brisket must have to eat inside Yosemite! If your coming from oakhurst you need to stop here! I forgot the guys name but his super nice. This store located maybe 10mins away from Yosemite entrance. High must try!

Cute little rural store with delicious sandwich. Friendly people working inside. Cold beers and drinks. We brought turkey and salami sandwich for the trails, and the sandwich they made us were huge.

    Sandwich menu.

Where else are you going to stop. They have good sandwiches 12.00 each. Mini mart with basically anything you need. The people that worked there were very nice and recommended a snow play area right up the road

It's bar and grill fare that can be eaten there, taken to go, or marked up a few dollars as room service. Avoid the breakfast buffet at all costs. A proper entree costs a little less, and the quality is so much better. The buffet eggs are so dry, and they are the one thing we had here that was truly awful. Opt for a bowl of Steel-Cut Oatmeal if you want something simple. The Lox & Bagel is a bigger plate with plenty of smoked salmon. Order an extra bagel and the salmon will serve two. For lunch and dinner they make pretty good burgers, like the Jackalope Burger, which has my favorite toppings and the Steakhouse Burger which is meat-on-meat, topped with short rib and swiss. Kids loved the Spiral Noodles and Cheese and the pizza. The Philly Cheesesteak could be a little less dry, but the Pulled Pork Nachos are quite delightful and enough for two. Plenty of toppings, ample protein. Jack's Buffalo Wings are best with basketball and beer. Casarecci Short Rib Pasta is a dinner entree and not one I would recommend. The ragu is rather thin. Avoid the Design-a-Cupcake at all costs. The cupcakes crumble when you pick them up so they are impossible to frost, and all you get is frosting and sprinkles so there's not much designing to be done. Several hits, a few misses, expected for a resort restaurant meant to serve all meals and any and all people. It's not the kind of place I would repeatedly frequent in normal circumstances, but the experience was quite positive overall.

Cashier was friendly and I was very lucky to find a place to sit and eat. As I was seated at a long table, the people next to me had delicious smelling soup--and mentioned that the soup was in a separate line, so I had hubby go get some vegetarian lentil soup, which was yummy!! After three nights of camping in Yosemite, we were looking forward to a little hotel luxury…read more It was definitely nice to have a bed, walls, and convenient restaurants to serve dinner. We did not have to cook our dinner over a campfire. So that was a plus. The food at Jackalope was pretty good. We ate there two nights. And in many instances, the people working there were absolutely lovely, helpful, and professional. One night there was a wait for dinner, and the woman at the front desk delivered an armful of games for us to play in the lobby while we waited. The place is a maze, and staff were very helpful the many times I lost my way. However, the quality of service was inconsistent and we found so many little frustrations throughout our time there that I don't think we will be coming back. For example: we did the climbing wall, which was fine. But nobody was cleaning out the helmets that kept being used by multiple kids. In one of the handouts, we read that there was Pickleball, but when we went to do Pickleball, there was no Pickleball. I went down to the spa and was excited to read about yoga classes, but then learned that there were no yoga classes. Beds were comfortable enough, but the hotel was kind of loud, with kids running up and down the hallway. That said, this is a decent enough place if you're looking for a hotel near Yosemite, there aren't that many to choose from.

It's places exactly like Tenaya Lodge that changed my mind. Tucked away in the fantastically-forested Fish Camp, Tenaya provides luxury and comfort in a way that is not at all ostentatious. Check-in can be hectic as two receptionists serve the entire place, but all the staff we encountered seem like they genuinely want to help, and the valets always got us our car in under five minutes. Our standard room is quite roomy and has a small balcony for watching birds and bats while we breathe in the warm mountain air. The pool situation is super, and every day we choose our own adventure between indoor and outdoor, both of which are heated. The indoor pool plays movies in the evenings, and I must say, Lego Batman exceeded expectations. There's even a climbing wall and an archery range, and my favorite, the nightly roasting of marshmallows around the fire pit. We had a blast. This resort has a whole vibe, the kind where kids can kid and adults can adult, and everyone can just enjoy themselves, mere miles from America's most beautiful national park.
