You can catch the Yosemite Valley free shuttle service to take you to many of the scenic locations if you don't feel like doing the long hike to each location. From Yosemite Village, we walked to point #1 on the map: Lower Yosemite Fall and the Cook's Meadow Loop, the waterfalls you see in my pictures. This location is kid and stroller friendly. The "big store" in Yosemite is apparently the Yosemite Village Store which is indeed...big. Yosemite Village Store is located obviously in Yosemite Village - we took the free bus to it, but it is also walkable. They also have a parking lot if you're more inclined to drive. The store had Yosemite apparel, stuffed animals, candles, soaps and even these really awesome photos of the different must see spots in Yosemite. Aside from all of that, they also have a grocery store on the other side which I believe is why they call it the "big store." We didn't need groceries so I didn't venture over to that side, but we did buy 5 t-shirts, a magnet for our fridge and a couple of other items. Overall, it's a great store and a must if you're looking for snacks, drinks or souvenirs - staff were also very friendly. Check it out!

Several of the aisles were bare and we noticed that they raised the price of some of their goods. The new pricing may be to help them pay for the cost of the remodel - but, why remodel only to raise the prices and make it difficult for customers to navigate the aisles? Even the staff have trouble pointing out where the things are when asked. This is especially hard to grasp when our economy is at its worse times for the past several years. We're going to have to tighten our belts even more... and find a new grocery store to shop at. Sad!

I ended up getting toothpaste, bananas(looked Fresh & Great) & Pinot Noir for Sunday! They have a large variety of all different wines. I picked one that I haven't tried and it was on sale. Very organized and easy to find what you need! Clean too! Checkout after that and the worker was very kind. I paid for it, she bagged it for me and handed it over with good day wishes! Appreciated!
