This place was really good . I love the batter on the fish nice and crunchy but not greasy. I loved that they had a grade A and that they were reasonably priced. I live in San Bernardino and I love coming to La for certain things because their prices are just better, this was one of the reasons. For a meal you are getting a nice size portion. A meal comes with 10pcs Fish, fries, salad, hush puppies and a roll for $14. I do love that the gentleman that took my order was very pleasant and took the time to go through what would give me more bang for my buck. I would like a tad bit more seasoning but overall it was good. If I'm honest this was in a lil bit of a rougher neighborhood and the inside was of older age like a hole in the wall vibes ( which to me always have the best food!) read more

My second time ordering from Fish Town. The first time I ordered my go to Orange Roughy. Yesterday I wanted chicken too, Orange Roughy is not one of the fish options when ordering 5 chicken, 5 fish, and 5 medium shrimp. For the fish, I went with red snapper, it was okay, the shrimp were the smallest I have ever seen. I could have put all five shrimp together and they would have amounted to one medium. I also requested all flats for the chicken. I received two flats, and three drumsticks. This order was a little disappointing. If I order from Fish Town again, I will stick with the Orange Roughy. read more

The food was amazing. Only gripe is that the pieces seem so small. The food was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Area is very sketchy. They don't open till 11am but they had the door open prior which made us think it was open. I would most certainly return. This is one of my families fav place to get fried fish. I wanted fish and wanted to try it for myself. I most likely had it before but never been myself until now. It's easy to get to and you can't miss it as it is right on the corner. Easy parking, inside is clean and the employee that greeted me was nice and helpful. Easy to read menu and they have everything for your taste buds and prices are fairly marked . I got 2 pounds of the cat fish and for the side I choose the fries. By the looks of this place, you'll know this is no Long John Silver, as it was looking a little rough on the outside, and just as bad on the inside. Display cases with misc. seafood on display. I probably wouldn't recommend coming here after dark. I ordered the fried fish & fried chicken wing combo, got 5 pieces of fish and 5 wings, also a good amount of French fries, a dinner roll and Coleslaw, it was more than enough as it was a good amount of food. Overall the flavor of the fish & chicken wings were pretty decent, moist and crispy, the rest of the platter was ok. 3 1/2 stars from me. read more

I finally found an amazing fish fish spot! I've been searching forever around the "hood" for somewhere where it isn't salty. I grew up on 11th Ave and they have been around as long as I've been alive. I cannot wait to bring my mom back here. There is a liquor store next door too so I have my 40 and my fish.
