I will NEVER order food from this place again. If it were up to me this place would be shut down by the BBB. The first red flag was when I called to place and order and was hung up on. I didn't think much of it and called back to order. The lady on the phone (Asian presenting slim woman with long black hair and glasses) had an attitude. I ordered a red snapper fish and shrimp combo and also a red snapper sandwich. I was told it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I arrived to pick up my order and was told one of the twenties I handed her was not real. I was confused because I literally got the twenty from a grocery store after using a hundred to pay for my items. She continued to say the money wasn't real and wouldn't accept it. I should have known better and left right at this moment but I think the shame from being accused of something so petty and menial especially when I knew I hadn't done anything wrong made me go to my car to get a different bill to give her. AFTER ALL THAT, I still paid the stupid lady and was given my food. I opened it immediately while sitting in my car and could tell that it wasn't snapper. Before I could go and return the food the place was closed (literally lights off and gate closed). Sooo the food was not seasoned and was bland. They use cornmeal and the grease they use wasn't changed. The shrimp was super small and fried so hard it didn't taste like anything. The fries were not good and were hard to chew. They only accept cash which is ridiculous in 2026! I ordered at 6pm and was told 20 mins. 25 mins later I walked in and I was told 710pm it would be ready! Smh. Completely empty on a Friday evening should have been my first sign to just turn around and walk out. They need to get a new cook and start seasoning their food and their batter. Only certain fish should be fried in cornmeal! Not all of it. Won't be returning. We threw most of our 70$ food away. Not enough hot Sauce in the world that could make that food taste good. read more

This is the best place to get real fish shrimp fried to order. They're breading is amazing. It's simply delicious, not too much just right. Their sides are amazing. The greens are perfectly cooked and their french fries will make you slap your mama. I haven't tried to dessert, but having eating here For three years I wouldn't expect for it to be second to none. I would love if they were open on Monday and Sunday because I could eat this every day of the week. That's not true because my health and my doctor would not allow this to happen. I wish everyone could try them just once to see if I am correct about their taste. Excellent fried fish spot in Inglewood. It's a theme, where they have a refrigerated case of fresh fish which you can choose to have fried on the spot for you. There's a smattering of these places around LA. I've been to about a half dozen lately, and this is one of the better ones I've been to. The whiting, sole and catfish are fine. The cornmeal batter is light and crisp, allowing the freshness of the fish to shine. The fried oysters are good, I believe they're from a jar, and that's fine by me. Fried chicken was good too. They have tasty sides -- French fries, collard greens, potato salad, macaroni salad, cole slaw, hush puppies. The hush puppies are excellent. Service was fast and efficient. Parking can be a little tight in this strip mall on what I'm calling Centinela Restaurant Row. Eee's n' Cee's is a couple doors over from Phillips BBQ and Harriet's Cheesecakes Unlimited, so the parking lot can get busy late in the afternoon. On 8/2/2024 I stopped by to and ordered fish and shrimp. The place appeared clean and quiet. After getting home and opened the plates. I tasted the fish and it seemed to have an old taste with no seasoning at all. I tried the shrimp plate. I ordered jumbo shrimp and received medium shrimp and I couldn't taste shrimp because the seasoning had no flavor. All in Alll I wouldn't recommend this Fishmarket to know one. My time and money was wasted. Hoping this rating reaches the owner. So he or she can correct the situation at hand. To become an established business for people to enjoy and recommend to others. Although I've lived in LA forever my sister and I just visited Eee's n Cee's for the first time. As we are picky about our fish we went for it. While looking at the menu there was another customer in there, so I asked about the food. He told us the food was really good. So, we placed our orders and let me tell you all....the food DID NOT DISAPPOINT, but not only did the food NOT disappoint the customer service was EXCELLENT. When she handed our bags I said ooh they heavy (lol). Baby when we popped the container open the presentation spoke volume and for what you get the prices are really good. We couldn't even pull off without going in and is all I'm going to say. I hate I didn't ask her name but she's the beautiful cook and owner of the establishment (1996). I am sorry to say that I was a little disappointed There is very little parking and practically no seating. The fish selection was very fresh. The people were very friendly and took a moment to explain the menu. However, the the finished product left a little to be desired. We ordered catfish, buffalo, and red snapper. Let me start by saying Eric and Carla are the best. I can't believe I've lived so close to this hidden gem for 2 years. I have been here a couple times now and order different things from the menu and I have yet to be disappointed. The customer service is excellent and they also take phone calls over the phone. Mmmmmm...NO! I was next door at Harriet's and saw this fish place. I was going to get fish at my favorite spot, but decided to Yelp! it. Always good to have a back up. Not many Yelp! reviews, but the majority were good. So I went in to order a filet of sole lunch. There were 3 people in there, one on the way out. It was fast, took about 8-10 minutes tops. Hmmmm... My husband met me back in the car. First thing he said was to look at the grease on the bag. My son wanted Subway, so since we had to make another stop, hubby suggested we taste it before it gets cold. This fish looked like it had been flattened out with a pastry roller it was so thin. It was almost all breading. It was also very greasy. If this makes any sense, the breading was seasoned, but the fish was not. If you peeled the breading off, the fish was very bland. Overall waste of money, as it was inedible. Two stars are for the fries, which were good, and customer service. But unfortunately, the fries had to be tossed out with the fish when we made our last stop at my go to fish spot. Could have been an off day since it had some good reviews.
