Late review from last year but still wanted to post: Wow! requested the 1/2 shrimp and 1/2 catfish combo with a side of crab legs. The seafood was well seasoned with half lemon pepper and cajun flavor . The next time I'll ask them not to season the vegetables so every bite will not be overpowering with flavor. This place is unprofessional and ratchet. I ordered 2lbs of crab legs and 1lb of shrimp. Let's start with the cashier hollering for Alexa to play the most ratchet/ghetto music ever. If you want to be disappointed with your seafood boil, this is the place to be. The food was heavily seasoned & it was not freshly prepared. I guess they thought the extra seasoning would make up for the lack of freshness. The crab, potatoes and broccoli were practically room temp and some of the meat in the crab legs was dry! I really need to leave my review for this establishment. This the best seafood in this area! I've visited this establishment twice and they have not disappointed me. As far as the food is concerned. I ordered 1lb of jumbo shrimps and a pound of snow crabs. Everything was cooked properly. The seasonings were great. I chose cajun and lemon pepper. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The second time I went, I did three combinations. One of the combos had scallops in it. The scallops, unfortunately are tasteless. Their supplier must be selling farm raised scallops and they are bland! They were prepared well, they just didn't have that crisp ocean flavor. That was disappointing. I would suggest that they would try another supplier. I would also suggest that they not have music playing laced with profanity. I saw many people with their children in there and I know times have changed, but still have some respect for your patrons. I almost didn't go here because I read a few bad reviews. If I could have given zero stars, I would've. It's unfortunate that establishments that are faves by many come to the south suburbs and become the quintessential stereotypical ghetto establishment. For starters, the number is never working meaning they either purposely keep the phone off the hook or have never resolved the issue meaning patrons are forced to come in and sit for a long wait for your food. That is unacceptable! Secondly, I went up to order my food (a crawfish platter) and was told they don't have crawfish, I ordered shrimp and was told they didn't have jumbo shrimp or potatoes for the platter and no salmon either!! This is unacceptable period! I politely left the restaurant to go get food elsewhere. A seafood restaurant with no seafood?! Finally got through today, immediately placed on hold for almost 5 minutes and when the lady finally got back on the line she was rude as hell! I really like the food the seafood here. They have several seasoning options for your food therefore you have to find the seasoning of your liking. You can ask for a samples of the seasonings. It's not fast food so you can wait somewhere between 50 and 30 minutes. But for the price, taste and quality it's worth the wait. You could call in order and pick up. But they only have one person working therefore you're better off walking in and waiting. If you got through on the phone then consider yourself lucky and be thankful or go someplace else. but if you want seafood like shrimp lobster crab legs without the hassle of cooking yourself and tastes good and it's affordable this is the hotspot.
