    Lobster roll

Call me bougie, I splurged for the lobster roll today and it was excellent! Not sure I would pay $45 again plus the 18% surcharge for service when ordering from the counter. Not usually a fan of coleslaw, however it is also pretty good. I'll be back to try some other other more reasonably priced options.

Popped in today for lunch. Food was a 12/10! Absolutely delicious! Service was impeccable! Weather was nice so we sat outside and ate. Such a good time!

Best tuna melt around with a unique twist that I can't quite place. The restaurant itself is quite charming and does a lot with its bright colors & small space. I feel like I'm going out to a fish market in the Northeast! Will definitely be back!

My father-in-law is a meat and seafood specialist and recommended this place to us for the next time we visited Atlanta. We came by in the middle of the day and there was still a good number of people in this small restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive. You ordered at the cash register and the food came right out. You could even watch the cooks make the food if you wanted to. The food was fresh and the scallop ceviche was amazing. The grouper was nice and flaky and the avocado toast had a nice addition of pickled onions. Definitely a great recommendation that I would pass on to anyone visiting Atlanta.

Can't say enough great things about fishmonger from the service to the laid back atmosphere to the flavors, to the freshness of the food, to the drinks to the music. I was hoping to gatekeep this as long as I could, but they deserve the love! My favorites are the lobster roll [when it's there] gumbo, pasta salad, blakened grouper sandwich, and oysters!

I visited on a Saturday afternoon, drawn by the social media buzz around the grouper sandwich. The space is small and intimate, with seating best suited for a quick, casual meal. The staff were upbeat and friendly. We tried two of the daily specials--a cucumber salad and fish tacos--and, of course, the famous grouper sandwich. Honestly, the food was a letdown. My sandwich was messy; the fish was moist and flaky, but so wet that the bun fell apart. While it's a neat place to watch a fishmonger at work and grab a fast bite, the food wasn't anything special.

    Shrimp ceviche

The $22 grouper sandwich is made without a pinch of salt. The shrimp ceviche was good until I realized THEY DONT CLEAN THE SHRIMP. None of the shrimp is split down the back to take out the poop. that is not a vein. The vein is on the inside of the shrimp. That is alarming for a seafood place. Overall, overpriced. Plus 18% gratuity added to all sit in orders. $1 added to all to go orders.

I'm obsessed with Fishmonger; it's one of my favorite places to grab lunch! There's a parking lot behind the strip with paid parking that's typically pretty easy to find a spot in. The inside of this place is small, but it's cute. Definitely wouldn't recommend for a large group though. The food is INCREDIBLE. We (or someone in our group) has gotten almost everything on the menu, and I've never heard someone say a negative thing about what they got. My personal favorite is the Gulf Shrimp Roll. Yes, it's expensive, but this is high quality food.

Lobster Roll- not great, had to send it back. But the staff as amazing about it.

I brought my folks here to try something new and they loved it. My meal wasn't great but theirs was! The signature blacken fish sandwich was a hit and the daily special fish tacos were too! Full of flavor, good size portions, and very friendly staff! It's a small space but they are def worth a visit. We'll definitely be back.

I've been wanting to try Fiskmonger for some time! Unfortunately, the food is mid and severely overpriced!! We paid $96 for 2 fish sandwiches, 2 sides and a bowl of super watery clam chowder. I don't mind paying for good food! I was super disappointed. You are also charged 20% gratuity for someone dropping off your food! However, she was nice, friendly and helpful.. The store is super small and gets crowded quickly! But, I liked the esthetics of Resturant... They do have outside seating...

A hidden gem that absolutely delivers! I stopped by Fishmonger and was instantly impressed. Even though the place was packed, the staff handled the rush like pros. Friendly, efficient, and upbeat service all around. I ordered the grouper sandwich and gumbo, and both were chef's kiss. The grouper was perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside, tender inside, and full of flavor. The gumbo had a rich, bold taste with just the right amount of heat. I also tried the brown butter potatoes, and let me tell you... I devoured them. So buttery and crispy--I could've eaten a second helping. Tried a bite of the catfish sandwich too, and it's definitely another winner. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Even with a full house, they kept the quality high and the vibes chill.

    Scallop crudo
    Kamille H.

The hot fish sandwich went viral this year, but the best items on the menu are the scallop crudo and blackened grouper Caesar salad! On a warm day it's the perfect meal. This location does not serve alcohol, but you can purchase next door and BYOB. The staff are friendly and inviting. Keep in mind it is a small space, not ideal for large groups.

STILL ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I keep coming to try everything on the menu and they also have a specials board that changes often with all their fresh catches of the day. I love anything they put on their menu. MORE FOOD: $20 BLACKENED GROUPER SANDWICH: this is their signature sandwich and it's simple but delicious. I had both hot fish sandwiches and I think I like the other one better. More flavors? Both good, just depends what you're in the mood for. $17 HOT CATFISH SANDWICH: I LOVED this sandwich more than the GROUPER one. The flavors were better. Both amazing. $22 SPECIALTY CHEF OYSTERS: these came with kiwi, which is unusual but so delicious! The crunch from the kiwi seeds were the perfect texture. I LOVED these! $18 SCALLOP CRUDO: I'm biased because scallops are my favorite and these were no different. I could order these every single time I come here. $15 SHRIMP COCKTAIL: OM MY GOODNESS! Why is everything so good here?? I wasn't expecting to love this one so much, I actually think it might've been called "ceviche" but I can't remember now. Please don't ever close. My all time favorite spot!

Everything is freshly made from scratch and packed up ready for your fridge or freezer. They have single portions & family size portions. Everything is excellent. They also have a vary nice wine selection, fresh seasonal veggies, & fresh breads. I tried the Mexican cornbread the other day and craved it ever since. Don't forget the Caesar salad/ dressing. So, if you love to eat great food and thinking about nice butcher cut, fresh seafood, or heating up the fruits of their labor- you can't go wrong. One other thing I noticed- groceries are really expensive and sometimes getting home to discover you only have ingredients makes it hard to budget. I found that these great meals helped me trim a dollars off stocking the fridge.

My review is for the SALAD BAR and the HOT FOODS BAR…read more Their salad bar is quite extensive and I think most people will like it; however, it is simply so much more expensive than similar salad bar choices nearby. Same goes for the hot foods bar. I'll add that I used to love the Indian Food choices on the hot bar, but they no longer offer NEARLY enough of these. I imagine the reason is lack of demand so I'm not lowering my star rating for this comment; only for the fact that Whole Foods charges so much. Quite expensive.

The carts are right at the entrance so you just grab one and go. When you walk in there is the florist section, which is perfect if you want to pick up something special for a partner or just brighten your own day or decorate your apartment. Then the produce is right there and I love how color coded it is. Everything green together, everything yellow together, clearly labeled organic and not organic. I also really like that you can scoop your own brown rice and dry goods and only pay for what you need instead of buying a whole bag. As a chef, that makes sense and saves money. The store is easy to get through and the workers actually know the whole store. You can ask where something is and they will tell you the exact aisle and shelf. I shop here a lot for clients so I can get in and get out fast because I know where everything is. They have a butcher section, fresh seafood, a hot bar, and even the slice of pizza I got was good. The cashier was the highlight. I did not get her name but she deserves recognition because she noticed the scanner cord was sitting on the scale and told me it was adding weight and charging me more. She helped me rescan everything and lower my total. That kind of honesty is rare. I really like this Whole Foods

I saw a dollar or so upsell on some Vegan items as well as other products I wasn't familiar with. I bought some pre-cut organic veggies (I rarely do this) & they were pretty fresh - price point a little steep yet worthy for the convenience. I won't be coming back after what I witnessed today regarding food handling and sanitation…read more I ordered chicken wings, and the employee handling my order did not change gloves before preparing my food. Instead, she grabbed a pair of tongs that had been sitting on the counter with visible sauce residue from another food item still on them and used those same tongs to pick up my chicken wings. It was incredibly unsanitary. I have no idea how long those tongs had been sitting there, what foods they had previously been used for, or whether they had been cleaned. The employee herself seemed unsure which tongs to use, which only made the situation more concerning. I also observed another employee repeatedly handling food without changing gloves. He was in the back cutting and preparing meat, then helping customers, touching the scale, touchscreen, and other surfaces with the same gloves before returning to continue handling the meat. Gloves are supposed to prevent contamination, not transfer bacteria and residue between food, equipment, and customer-contact surfaces. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've noticed these sanitation issues at this deli. I've seen similar practices on previous visits, and it appears to be an ongoing problem rather than a one-time mistake. For the prices customers are paying, basic food safety standards should be expected. Cross-contamination and improper glove use are not minor issues, especially in a department handling ready-to-eat foods. On a positive note, the fish market on the other side is consistently clean, professional, and appears to take sanitation seriously. The difference between the two departments is very noticeable. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and provides additional food safety training for staff. What I witnessed today was unacceptable and left me with very little confidence in the cleanliness and food handling practices of the deli.
