It never feels generic or rushed everything we do has a purpose. One thing that really stands out is how organized and thoughtful she is. She created a clear, structured day-to-day plan for our sessions and even shared an Excel sheet so I can easily see and track what we're working on. Being able to visualize my progress keeps me motivated and accountable, and it shows how much she genuinely cares about helping me succeed. Her approach is incredible. There's absolutely no pressure or intimidation just steady encouragement, positivity, and motivation. She knows exactly when to push me and when to adjust, which makes every session both productive and enjoyable. We have fun, we laugh, but we also work hard going from lifting heavy to even heavier weights that I never imagined I would be able to do. I feel stronger both physically and mentally. On top of that the studio is not crowded. It's truly one-on-one, and the focus is completely on you. The entire team at Studio Flex is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They just happened to starting their Summer Fitness Challenge. Needless to say, it was one of the most profound and impactful decisions I have made in a long time. In the nine weeks since starting, the changes I have undergone have been nothing short of extraordinary, and people are noticing. The workouts, though challenging, are excellent. The patience of the staff, the atmosphere of the club and the motivation to progress is second to none. TFX has been a true difference maker and I cannot thank the staff and coaches enough!

I had signed up with the gym for 6 months but I quickly fell off the wagon and ended up gaining it all back plus some. My head was not in the right space. I made lots of excuses as to why I shouldn't or "couldn't" go. As my 40th birthday approached a year later I decided to do it again. This time losing a little over 17lbs and I had a shift in my headspace. I was ready for the commitment to myself and I signed up for another 6 months at the gym. I had to find what worked for me. The first challenge I was going to the gym after work which was horrible. It's hot, i'm already tired.. So this time around I switched to mornings! Class started at 5:45am (5:00am now!!) I get my workout done and I am a happy camper. The workouts are great! They really push you but there are modifications given if you need them. Also, time flies in the gym. These workouts are fast paced and get your heart racing. It's a good combo of cardio and weights. The coaches are great, Ale' , Felicia, Gaby and Ashley- they have formed a great supportive community where I am making new friendships and feel like I belong. I used to hate going to the gym.. now I look forward to it!

As well as some of the classes I've taken with Veronica lately- she's been teaching vinyasa on Wednesdays at 10:30 and I've been really enjoying it. She has such a kind heart and open spirit. I started also going to her 8 am Saturday morning yoga as well after meeting her in the vinyasa class and loving her teaching style. Both of these instructors take time to really explain body positioning and will gently guide students into proper alignment when needed. I love that we have so many weeks with Nikkia subbing so we can be building and growing in each class. Please more classes with both of these instructors. They both have such a calming presence I also love that they each bring new material and music to each class and we aren't just repeating the same moves over and over again So refreshing- this energy will keep me coming back

It's used as a gym annex with everything going on from shadow boxing to Bikram yoga. Not a very relaxing atmosphere. Those are the issues that kept me from giving it 5 stars. In addition to the sauna, there's a steam room that seems to be a bit more calm. Other than the few issues I described, it's a great place to work out.

This one is for people looking for a little more insight other than the commonly praised music, community, and coach (all which I agree with of course!). Some context, I was a regular to Crunch classes and was looking for a place with heavier lifting and more of a challenge. All of my workouts are morning ones, either the 5:30 or 6:30. The evening ones and teachers I'm less familiar with but everyone is great. That said, I do think these workouts are best for those with some exercise experience under their belts. We do various exercises which helps keep things interesting, but there's a lot of basics (deadlift, chest press, squats etc) that would be helpful to know prior to coming. You can still be a beginner though and even someone completely new to everything will be welcomed with open arms. Also, get the app and be sure to book classes through there. The workouts are fast paced, and the very first few might feel like you've walked into a tornado. The coaches start with a warmup and then will give you a rundown of all the workouts before starting. It's a real test of memory , but if you forget, others and the coaches will always help. We count on each other for that. Each day is a different workout with a unique purpose, but they generally are medium-high intensity and HIIT (high intensity interval training) or AMRAP (as many reps as possible) style. I'll go over them, but keep in mind these are the 5:30/6:30am classes. The late morning and pm classes are probably the same but I can't really speak for them. MONDAY - Upper and Lower - this is a time to get a full body strength session in, and is my favorite day. No cardio, just the opportunity to go a little heavier. The coach is currently Ciera and she's amazing. So fun, knowledgeable and kind. TUESDAY - SWEAT - cardio lovers, this is one for you. It's the most despised one for me and many others , but the highest calorie burner and a key day to work on agility and those fast twitch muscles. WEDNESDAY - Booty Blast - don't let the catchy name deceive you , this will have your whole lower body burning. It's a day when we go heavy on legs. Usually done in an AMRAP style, this one is a good one to find a group with similar experience and weights. THURSDAY - Cardio, Core Chest, and Triceps - this is a good one if you want a little taste of the cardio work, but also get a solid chest and tri workout. FRIDAY - Back, Biceps, Shoulders, Core - another welcome strength day that feels like a nice relief from the higher intensity work. You will still sweat, don't worry. SATURDAY - AMRAP - it's a full body strength and cardio session. Again, the AMRAP style is most optimal if you look for a group in a similar strength and fitness since you will all be using the same weights and moving through them quickly. Expect all classes to start with a 5 min warmup, and then end with everyone sharing responsibilities of spraying down the equipment and sometimes putting it away. Chris, the head coach is really great. He's very kind, easy to work with, and really knows his stuff. I am constantly impressed with how well balanced the workouts are, and how he manages to keep it interesting and fun! The gym is also very clean, and there's ample parking. I haven't done a dexa scan in a while, but in the first 6 months I lost 5.6% body fat and gained 2lbs of muscle. I'm only ~110 lbs for reference. Overall, I recommend Everfit if you're looking for a spot that is consistent yet interesting and fun. The community IS great, and even though there's not a lot of time to chat, Chris hosts social events and I know a lot of people that have found very solid friendships through the classes. Come try it out! There is a 7 days for $7 pass on their website, or some people use class pass to see if it's a good fit. Hope to see you there!

I have to say out of all the gyms I've been to: FBBC, UFC, Planet Fitness, The Camp, and many other local family owned gyms, Concord fitness boot camp aka Fit Body Boot Camp concord has been the absolute best! I lost weight but the change was not just in appearance. I actually felt stronger and could notice the difference in my strength. My energy and endurance was like my teen days. The crazy part is appearance wise this gym has been the least impressive. But Virgil makes the small space functional and you really don't need much more than this. When I showed up for my first trial the location made me hesitant. Virgil's customer service was great and he made me feel welcomed. The other members were friendly and there were all ages and body types. I stayed and loved it. Everyone was extremely helpful and motivating. They all push you to finish your reps, to keep moving and not quit, and if you struggle they make you feel okay with modifying while teaching you ways to work on it until you can one day do what you're struggling with. It was hard but it seemed like within days my body learned how to handle doing sit ups and push ups. Another major part is nutrition. Virgil helped me with a shopping list and meal ideas. He is respectful but also doesn't sugar coat. With each weigh in he reminded me what I needed to do to stay on track. I also learned how to count calories. If I still lived in the area I would see about joining again. If I didn't give it 5 stars it is solely because of the cost. When I went it cost around by $300/month. Is it worth it? Yes. Is it affordable and feasible? No. I could not keep up going there as it was too much for my budget. Pictures for comparison of cheeks and chin when I first started in March to September

The place looked pretty legit as you know I love legit gyms :-) I was asked to disinfect the bottom of my shoes as street shoes aren't allowed on the floor, since we laid on them for floor workouts. That made me feel better because I ain't tryna rest my head on a floor where people before me don't know where to walk sometimes and you don't know where they come from ahem, SF CITY STREETS!!!
