When we first started, our goal was simply to help her get comfortable in the gym and learn the basics of using different equipment. I've been coming here since the end of February and started personal training with Jaden mid-late March. It's almost May and I can't begin to express how great Jaden is! I ignored a few calls when the were trying to schedule my fist free into workout but I'm so glad I answered and took a chance with Jaden! He is motivated, he pushes me, he doesn't let me sand bag it and he explains reasoning behind all the workouts we do so that I can learn! I actually look forward to my workouts with him and I can't rave enough about how great he is but I definitely recommend if anyone is thinking about personal training, sign up with Jaden! I don't usually leave reviews, but what happened at the Temecula Fitness 19 Kids Club needs to be shared. On April 14th, our nonverbal, level 3 autistic son was banned based on accusations that were later proven to be inconsistent and, in part, completely false. Staff claimed he pushed another child and repeatedly threw toys. A responding sheriff--who we called after discovering a large, unexplained bruise on our son's upper thigh that appeared only after being in their care, and after we had already witnessed a Kids Club employee inappropriately yelling at him--reviewed the footage. The sheriff confirmed there was no malicious intent, and importantly, the footage did not show our son aggressively pushing another child. If anything, it appeared he was attempting to avoid running into the child and inadvertently made contact that caused the other child to fall. The sheriff also confirmed that our son did not throw any toys at all, directly contradicting what we were told. Even more concerning, the sheriff observed our son having multiple hard falls during his time there--none of which were ever reported to us. As parents, that level of negligence is unacceptable. When we initially brought these concerns to the General Manager, Dustin, he was immediately loud and aggressive toward my wife--even with me present. His tone escalated to the point where I had to step in and ask him to stop speaking to her that way and to calm down. Later that same day, the General Manager, Dustin, pulled my wife aside when she was at the gym alone and claimed he had reviewed the footage, stating that our son "sought out the child" and was intentionally aggressive. When my wife asked if he was going to review the footage related to how our son sustained his injury, he refused to answer. As she continued asking for a direct answer, he responded, "all you do is f***ing talk, talk, talk and talk over people and not let anyone get a word in." He then refused to review any additional footage and also refused to provide an incident report--despite previously stating he would do so after reviewing the cameras. When she tried to address this with him, his behavior was shockingly unprofessional. He became loud and aggressive, especially toward my wife. He ultimately told her, "you can get the f*** out of my gym," and dismissed her with a "deuces" gesture. This was in front of staff and likely on camera. No customer--let alone a woman advocating for her child--should ever be spoken to that way. We had already witnessed a Kids Club employee yelling at our son previously, and when they ultimately banned him, they justified it by saying he was "too large" and "difficult to handle" because he is autistic and nonverbal--despite previously telling us they had no issues with him. Dustin also stated that they "have to take everything a child says seriously." While that may sound reasonable, applying that standard without context resulted in unfair treatment toward our son, who is nonverbal and unable to advocate for himself. In situations like this, greater consideration should be given to the parents who know and understand their child best. There were also multiple conflicting versions of the incident given to us, which raises serious concerns about the integrity and training of the staff. This isn't just poor customer service--this is a failure w basic care, professionalism, and accountability, especially when it involves a special-needs child. We have since spoken with other Fitness 19 managers, who were appalled by this behavior and confirmed it is far outside company standards. Until there is real accountability and change at this location, I would strongly caution any parent--especially those with special-needs children--before trusting this Kids Club with your child. read more

I've tried a few gyms but have enjoyed Fitness19 the best. It's a good size and has a small town feel as many of the gym goers are consistent so we see the same smiling faces often. The staff is friendly and as opposed to other places, I see them cleaning at different times throughout the day. Some days I go at 6 am and again in the evenings. They seem to be on top of it. For some reason this location has seemed to have forgotten about the importance of maintenance. Gyms need to be kept clean and equipment properly maintained. This is clearly no longer a priority for the management at this location. Fellow members are asking managers what is going on with the decline and apparent lack of interest in addressing these obvious problems. Members are complaining to each other about their concerns. When complaints fall on deaf ears people will be leaving! Trying find out who owns the place it looks like a Vim +Vigor Fittness maybe the owner of this and other locations. Not found any easy way to reach out to them to advise them of these concerns. Not the best way to maintain their customer base! Sure hope these folks get the message and clean up the property and fix the equipment needing attention! read more

I'm writing this review not for the gym, but for the instructor and trainer at the gym Veronika is amazing. Her classes are designed specifically for the people in them. The exercises are purposeful and intentionally created to strengthen and support each person in the class. She shows up continuously and has created a community of friends that work out together. She also teaches us about nutrition and explains the importance of the exercises that we are doing. We are so lucky to have her as our instructor. read more

This place is dirty. Too many Machines broken, nasty bathroom, and no cleaning staff. Go anywhere else but here. Used to be a good local gym but now I see why everyone is leaving and going elsewhere. Stairmasters are almost all broken too. Time to buy new ones. This gym is run down. read more

Fitness19 is more than a gym, it's a community. I've been a member for over 3 years, after moving to the area, and have made some good friends there. The staff and other members are friendly, welcoming and frequently show encouragement to one another. The Zumba classes are always fun and high energy with amazing instructors. F19 offers a variety of challenging (always at your own pace) classes including: cycle, yoga and strength. The kids club is clean with great staff that engages with the kids. My kids are always excited when they get to go. The personal trainers are top notch. I recommend Veronika, she really knows her stuff. read more

Used to be a great gym, new manager Dustin took over and its gone down hill. I have witnessed arguments and near physical altercations. No paper towels in restrooms, hand sanitizer stations always empty and equipment breaks and isn't fixed for weeks. EOS is the same price with far superior size and management. read more

I've been a member of Fitness 19 for almost a year and a half. I have seen amazing results, especially with the personal training services from Daniel! He's helped me gain noticeable muscle and strength, while helping me break my weight loss stall. The group classes are also fantastic, and the Zumba instructors are awesome - so energetic and motivating! Erica, Glenda, Emily, and Minh are so welcoming and make you feel like a part of the group. What's even better is the sense of community; the Zumba attendees are so friendly, and they even organize fun holiday events. Yoga with Deborah and Shelley are great and really allowed me to work as a beginner to building up my strength and feeling more confident. Veronika and Shelley's strength training classes have also been so great in helping me tone. And lastly, Maria's TRX class is the best work out. She is such a great instructor. I only wish there were more times for her class. Honestly, if i didn't have to go to work, I would spend hours or my day taking all of the classes. Highly recommend! read more

Disappointing Experience at Fitness19 in Temecula I visited Fitness19 today, excited to try their 5-day free pass that was advertised online. When I approached the staff, they started popping off questions about whether I was local and even asked personal questions about why I was even in the area. It felt very unwelcoming, and instead of offering me a tour or any information about possible membership options, they flat-out refused to give me the free pass because I "wasn't local." I just wanted a place to workout in after getting a new job in the area. Instead, they offered me a $15 day pass, which seemed completely unreasonable, especially for a first-time visit. Honestly, their attitude was a huge turn-off, so I walked right across the street to EOS Fitness. The difference was night and day. The staff at EOS were much more welcoming, immediately offered me a tour of their facility, and made me feel like they actually wanted my business. They were inclusive, friendly, and had way more amenities. read more

The owner, Lily, was responsive, and truly concerned with a billing issue, and said so on this platform, offering to discuss it with me. Unfortunately, when I called, it was the front desk. I asked for Lilly, and the manager told me: "I'm the General manager here, and you need to speak with ME, not Lilly, what can I help you with? "Nothing. I replied. Lilly expressed concern over a review I posted, and wished to discuss it." "What seems to he the problem! As the manager, you need to discuss it with Me, not her." "Actually, Lilly is the OWNER, and asked to speak with me, so I will do as she wished. That is correct, that she is the Owner, am I right?" He said. "Well, yes. She is, but I would rather handle it." "Yes, but she asked to speak with Me, so I will respect her wishes, if that's alright with you." At which point he agreed, and we left it at that. In my experience, there is going to be a very good time coming soon, for this gym. **** Update: I just received a call from the District Manager. He heard me, and IMMEDIATELY reversed the excess charges on my account. He was polite, kind, and professional. -A credit to any business. I will say this: every business has client/personnel issues. The Fitness 19 franchise is guided by very competent people at upper levels. If ever you have a concern, I am now Very confident it will be addressed. I depart "friends" with this outfit, having moved away, and would recommend their service. I love this gym! It really has a strong community feeling of support and assistance. The team members are helpful and respectful. I love the separate saunas, red light therapy and the hydromassage. The classes and instructors are awesome. The yoga classes are great and there are lots of Zumba classes offered at various times with great instructors. They also offer a MixxedFit class which is really fun. There are truly so many reasons to give it a try, whether you are 'gym' person or not at all. If you are looking for a new gym or somewhere to feel like you belong, this is the place for you. read more

Fitness 19 in Temecula is a solid gym! There is plenty of equipment to meet your fitness goals. Employees are friendly and provide good information when needed. I am recently retired and wanted to train at a time the place is not full and was provided best times to get my workout in. There is a mixture of hardcore lifters, stretchers/aerobic people and individuals just looking to maintain some sort of good health. Gym hours are great and should meet most all schedules. They also have personal trainers on hand to aid in fitness goals. There still is however an element of selfish social behavior such as sitting at a machine and talking on the phone or taking up an area in the gym for group chats. If you are there for a workout and not social interaction you might get annoyed. This is a major reason for the 4 and not 5 star review. That being said, I still recommend Fitness 19 in Temecula for anyone looking for a solid gym. Equipment, staff and accessibility earn 5 stars. Banish the knuckleheads that treat it as a nightclub and the review is 5 stars. read more

I've never ventured away from the Murrieta location since it's closer to my side of town, but I decided to try this location one morning since I had some errands in the area and figured why not... my first impression was that it's about half the size of the Murrieta one and that the equipment is definitely starting to show some age... The good thing is that they still have similar amenities in kids club and a room for classes... however I don't believe I noticed a cycling room? Although I don't love their locker/bathroom layout, I LOVE the sauna and that will honestly be the only reason I'll ever come back to this location. Had such an unsettling experience with a "Assistant Manager," Derek Kleis. His demeanor was unwelcoming and condescending, asking inappropriate questions which made my brother, friend that was trying to sign up that day, and me feel extremely uncomfortable on day one we never even went back after that encounter. It's disheartening when the staff, especially those in customer service roles, fail to provide a friendly and supportive environment that they preach about as a company. This experience has deterred me from returning to the gym as seen by other reviews it's obviously not the first time this has occurred and I hope the management will address this issue to improve the experience for future patrons. I have been using this gym for over a year and I go three times a week so this is a real review. It's rarely too crowded to use the equipment and there's a huge "big ass" ceiling fan that circulates the air so it doesn't get stuffy and stinky. They helped me get in shape and I have met some very nice people. I use a personal trainer, Marcellus and he's great. He keeps it fun during work outs. And the new manager, Dustin is awesome. Several years ago, my daughter and I joined Fitness 19. Initially, all was well: my daughter and I were happy with the personal trainer and staff. I hired the PT to teach my daughter and me the correct use of equipment. As time passed, I, like many, stopped using the gym; my daughter continued for some time, then stopped going. When it became clear that neither my daughter nor I would continue, I canceled our membership and personal trainer. Recently I noticed we were still being billed for membership: this is where the nightmare began. According to the Temecula Fitness 19 staff member, only the personal trainer was canceled. They continued to bill me for membership. Several days ago, I attempted to cancel that account again with no positive result. Because of the inherent difficulty Fitness 19 has made for a person to cancel accounts, I stopped all payments through my bank. Fitness 19's billing company, ABC Fitness Solutions, would not help and told me to contact the Temecula gym. The gym would not allow me and said I needed to pay the monthly fees before they would cancel my membership. A few days ago, my daughter received a letter from Aldous & Associates, a collection agency. My daughter is a minor. She cannot legally sign a contract, yet they are going after her. I sent them a response to cease and diciest any contact with my minor daughter. Today I have made three calls to Temecula, Fitness 19; two, one hour apart, the last after two hours. Each call is answered by a receptionist. Each time I am told the manger is busy and will call back. The last call I was told the manager just got back from lunch and would call me in a few minutes. That did not happen. It is obvious there is an issue with this gym and their customer service. read more

Been going to this gym for years and been using the Inbody machine every other day to check my progress and I guess Fitness 19 got a new guy coming named Dustin replacing the old manager. Remember I been using this machine for years without any issues and new guy Dustin wants to make sure he asserts his authority so he can feel important. He kicks me off the machine and tells me I cant be using it because my membership doesn't allow it. He then leaves a note on my fitness 19 account, so I came here to leave him a note as well! Allen was the best he ran this gym really well all these years and was a super nice dude. He really made this gym comfortable for everyone. STAFF : This gym's professionalism is an absolute joke. The staff has personal vendetta's against members. WILL harass you and accuse members of made up altercations in order to make you feel uncomfortable and attacked. Definitely not a safe or welcoming environment for anyone. Especially new lifters. Again the worker's will negatively comment or look down upon you. In various cases I've personally witnessed the staff not doing anything about sexual harassment and or creepy old men. You will never, genuinely, feel safe mentally or physically. EQUIPMENT : I find the equipment to be restricting. There is not much you can utilize as the majority of the machines are some how under maintenance, Unsanitary, or janky. Again, this is tied with the staff not doing their job; walking around harassing members per usual. Overall the equipment are not maintained nor cleaned. I am disgusted. Just permanently moved to the Temecula community 2 weeks ago. Signed up for 3-Day Guest Pass to try the gym out, as it is closest to my new residence. Filled out information online and received my free pass, but when I attempted to use at the gym on my first day (a weekend), I was immediately told that an ID with my Temecula address would be required to use the Guest Pass. I explained that I was new to the area, had not updated my CA DL yet to reflect my new Temecula address, but had a USPS change of address form and/or a Temecula Library Card to show my residence if needed...this was begrudgingly "ok'd" by the front desk staff, after I almost turned around to go home, but not before I received what I felt was like a "scolding" and "cold welcoming"...I understand policy, but the entire way it was handled just felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. When the staff then attempted to small talk me about my recent move to Temecula from North County San Diego, one of the staff bluntly commented "Yeah, I just feel like people in Temecula are a lot ruder and more impatient." Um. Wow. What a comment to get from a customer service representative at the local gym. When I attempted to work out at the gym my 2nd Free Day, I was again scolded (by the same employee) for not having a DL with my new address...uhhh DMV is closed on weekends dude lol. However, when I was flagged down to discuss signing up after my workout, I brought the address issue up again and received a completely different answer of "oh no worries we can manually input your address to your profile." Yeah. ok. Overall, the whole initial introduction to the gym as a new guest and prospective member was just not welcoming and the berating of the "rude Temeculans" didn't sit well with me. My ID/address was not an issue during my guest pass trials at other local gyms so I will ultimately be signing up elsewhere. read more

Horrible place. They dont care about you, just your money. They charged me for annual fee when the gym was closed due to COVID-19. I couldn't contact anyone bc they were closed. Now when i canceled my membership insisted of asking me why, They threading me that if i dont pay$24, it will go to collections. I called today to cancel my membership, and I was told by some dipshit named Joshua with an attitude "alright, the only way to cancel is to email or come in".... which the website says to simply call (which I pointed out to this Joshua). And he again said (with attitude) "right, like I said you have only 2 options, you can come in or email". So I asked to speak to someone else and Joshua told me no i couldn't. So I went back on the website and guess what.... there is no freaking email. So, I don't live near this gym anymore (so I can't go in) and I can't email, because there isn't one.
