STAFF : This gym's professionalism is an absolute joke. The staff has personal vendetta's against members. WILL harass you and accuse members of made up altercations in order to make you feel uncomfortable and attacked. Definitely not a safe or welcoming environment for anyone. Especially new lifters. Again the worker's will negatively comment or look down upon you. In various cases I've personally witnessed the staff not doing anything about sexual harassment and or creepy old men. You will never, genuinely, feel safe mentally or physically. EQUIPMENT : I find the equipment to be restricting. There is not much you can utilize as the majority of the machines are some how under maintenance, Unsanitary, or janky. Again, this is tied with the staff not doing their job; walking around harassing members per usual. Overall the equipment are not maintained nor cleaned. I am disgusted. Been going to this gym for years and been using the Inbody machine every other day to check my progress and I guess Fitness 19 got a new guy coming named Dustin replacing the old manager. Remember I been using this machine for years without any issues and new guy Dustin wants to make sure he asserts his authority so he can feel important. He kicks me off the machine and tells me I cant be using it because my membership doesn't allow it. He then leaves a note on my fitness 19 account, so I came here to leave him a note as well! Allen was the best he ran this gym really well all these years and was a super nice dude. He really made this gym comfortable for everyone. Horrible place. They dont care about you, just your money. They charged me for annual fee when the gym was closed due to COVID-19. I couldn't contact anyone bc they were closed. Now when i canceled my membership insisted of asking me why, They threading me that if i dont pay$24, it will go to collections. Just permanently moved to the Temecula community 2 weeks ago. Signed up for 3-Day Guest Pass to try the gym out, as it is closest to my new residence. Filled out information online and received my free pass, but when I attempted to use at the gym on my first day (a weekend), I was immediately told that an ID with my Temecula address would be required to use the Guest Pass. I explained that I was new to the area, had not updated my CA DL yet to reflect my new Temecula address, but had a USPS change of address form and/or a Temecula Library Card to show my residence if needed...this was begrudgingly "ok'd" by the front desk staff, after I almost turned around to go home, but not before I received what I felt was like a "scolding" and "cold welcoming"...I understand policy, but the entire way it was handled just felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. When the staff then attempted to small talk me about my recent move to Temecula from North County San Diego, one of the staff bluntly commented "Yeah, I just feel like people in Temecula are a lot ruder and more impatient." Um. Wow. What a comment to get from a customer service representative at the local gym. When I attempted to work out at the gym my 2nd Free Day, I was again scolded (by the same employee) for not having a DL with my new address...uhhh DMV is closed on weekends dude lol. However, when I was flagged down to discuss signing up after my workout, I brought the address issue up again and received a completely different answer of "oh no worries we can manually input your address to your profile." Yeah. ok. Overall, the whole initial introduction to the gym as a new guest and prospective member was just not welcoming and the berating of the "rude Temeculans" didn't sit well with me. My ID/address was not an issue during my guest pass trials at other local gyms so I will ultimately be signing up elsewhere. read more

I called today to cancel my membership, and I was told by some dipshit named Joshua with an attitude "alright, the only way to cancel is to email or come in".... which the website says to simply call (which I pointed out to this Joshua). And he again said (with attitude) "right, like I said you have only 2 options, you can come in or email". So I asked to speak to someone else and Joshua told me no i couldn't. Pretty terrible. They have a sign outside advertising $9.99 per month membership. They told me "that sign is really old the membership costs $14.99." I aksed if I could do a free trial for a day or week or whatever and was told they don't do anything like that. My wife literally was given a free week trial before signing up 2 weeks prior to me going in. I asked to speak with a manager and was told they werent there. Overall this place has pretty crappy customer service and shady business practices (or just clueless front desk personnel). Either way I spent about 10 minutes talking to them and wont spend another minute in any Fitness 19 ever. There are plenty of other gym options so I wouldnt waste your time here. Our kids have been members for 4+ years. I call or go in occasionally and am always impressed by Allen. First of all he seems dedicated to the company, its employees and its members as rarely is there a time he is not there. Second he recalls everyone, even those of us that rarely go in and treats them like family. For a gym, Allen makes it a very welcoming place to come. Being a member at fitness 19 had been a total game changer for me. I was apprehensive starting the gym knowing I'd bring my two young children with me and not knowing how to use the machines/equipment. It was important to me to have a family oriented atmosphere and somewhere me and my kids would feel welcome. Needless to say, they look forward to playing in the kids center with Rebecca and Lauren. It's also very open and clean! The gym is not I overly crowded and they have plenty of machines to choose from. Also, my trainer Veronika is fabulous and always has new and challenging workouts for me to try. Training with her has helped me with my confidence in the gym with using the equipment and understanding which workouts target the different muscle groups. Grateful for this team! read more

I tried a lot of gyms in the temecula area and none of them really satisfied me, none stood out. I went in for a trial at fitness 19 and fell in love. The gym is not overly crowded and the employees they have are amazing! They really get to know you and are always in auch a great mood when greeting or attending to something you need. The childcare area is amazing! They have so many toys and shows and fun activities for my kiddos! My kids absolutely love coming to the gym with mommy because of the amazing time they have in the childcare area. Ms. Rebecca and Ms. Lauren are great with my kids! My little boy loves Ms. Rebecca! They are so attentive and actually bond with the kids! I highly recommend this gym for you and your kids! read more

After FINALLY cancelling my membership I thought I was through with this racket BUT nope..............BEWARE after you cancel a month later they still charged me! SO I called and they said it is a 30 day cancellation! Huh? A 30 day cancellation? Their response.............gotta love this one folks. A 30 day cancellation means that after you cancel you can still use the membership for 30 more days and you are charged! They make you physically come in and cancel or write a letter and when you do did they explain that you are only cancelling after another 30 days and another billing cycle. Nope! Many reasons for 5 stars on my review! Ive been a member for years, previous member of LA Fitness. Ms Rebekah and Ms Lauren are really great with the kids, attentive and communicative to parents. Allen is a great manager, always willing to help and there for any questions, he knows his customers and is friendly. They were open during covid! No masks! Although other gyms may be larger, this has all you need and it's spaced out well. No pool, but they have a sauna. read more

I highly recommend choosing this gym based on my great experience with my trainer Franco, manager Jose, and the rest of management/staff. The facility is very clean. Sauna is a plus. I joined Fitness 19 back in November 2018 and my experience so far has been awesome! I've never had any experience working out with a trainer and was at first a little hesitant, but I decided to try it out for maybe 1 month (which turned into many more). Franco does a great job at keeping you focused on your goals. He will give you tips on nutrition and proper form. I highly recommend Franco if your just starting out or a veteran in the gym. read more

What makes me happy? Lupita Villagran does. Ya know how you just feel happy in a class and can't wait to be there for the next ones? It takes a special instructor to make ya smile and get your happy dance in. She's a perfect mix of dance and full on cardio so you're not just wasting your time. It's my happy during the week and I'm so grateful to be able to take her classes (wish there were more of 'em btw.) I was transferred to this gym with no choice... bc the last gym closed down but brought all accounts to this gym. I have to admit it is nice, and open, new equipment etc. I left bc my friends go to EOS and bc EOS has a better kid center... fitness 19 charged PER kid, as Eos charges one price for up to 3 kids. Something I was highly disgusted with at Fitness 19 was the lack of paper towel and spray stations. There was only ONE for the cardio area which was against the mirror wall. Not to mention, as I'm on machines and notice the people who finish before me NEVER clean or wipe down their equipment after use. (So that's really just rude and disgusting people with no common gym etiquette) The staff was nice, for the exception of the older black guy. He was at my old gym. When I started to transition over and get my account updated, he had made a comment about how it had be a long time since I had last been to the gym. I thought that was rude. He didn't know that I had just had a baby. Some people just can't pop back up like that. But everyone else was actually really nice. The girls in the kid center were Uber nice and great with my kids. But the kid center lacked more activities and things to do. The kids that come in there can get messy bc a lot bring snacks. I personally witness younger kids crawl up to the messy snacks on the floor. There are usually only two attendants and they can't watch every kid that closely and I fear one day a kid with severe allergies will eat some other kids snack and have some type of shock and blow up. I noticed parents would also bring their snotty sick kids to the gym. Come on people, have some common decency and keep them home. No one wants that... read more

Dear Lily - I'm about to put my own low rating on here, but read thru some of the other reviews first. What DBS had to say about the manager... I absolutely don't doubt that's who I had to contend with the other day when I was in! I had signed up to try out the gym (a day pass) and the young, black haired woman who was at the desk when I walked in was respectful and friendly for the few seconds we interacted. For some reason she couldn't find me in the computer system and then turned to a male for assistance. I don't know what his name was (nor hers), but I'm sure it's the Derek that was mentioned in DBS's review. He was rude, disrespectful not only to me, but also to the female who had first attended to me and his ego is totally over the top. I swear he actually stood there with his chest pushed out as if he was big man on campus while being rude to me. His motto was: It doesn't matter what she sees [in the computer], it only matters what I see! This is actually what he said! (Feel free to review your security video.) Wow. Who did the hiring for this D.? You may want to review your hiring policies or let someone else take over that portion of your duties! Lost my car key in one of the stepper last July, asked management to help, both the area manager and assistant manager agree to help. They did nothing, they have done absolutely nothing. I even spoke to the mechanic, who was there Friday, January 24th and he did absolutely nothing. Very friendly staff allen white is very knowledgeable and has helped me numerous times. They got indoor and outgoing equipment right now which is great if you wanna be outside for workouts. They have red-light therapy which has helped with my acne. read more

Been a member for a long time, every gym in town actually, but I actually preferred the old location for Temecula Fitness 19 over the new one. GINORMOUS fans, big as the propellers on a jumbo jet (do they even have those now???) constantly whirring overhead, I don't like at all. TV's are BEHIND you when youre working out on the weight equipment, not exactly sure WHO is supposed to be able to watch those. And they keep changing the HOURS! Showed up last December on Sunday to find out they had closed an hour before we got there. NO NOTIFICATION whatsoever about this, but they stated they were closing at 11pm during the week and earlier on weekends so we've been going during those hours basically and then tonight called to make sure they were open regular hours (its Presidents day today) and get told yes, they're open 24 HOURS! WHAAAAT?!! I'm like, wait a minute, online I pulled up a schedule, I was told last December when you changed your hours that you closed at 11pm and now you're telling me that you haven't been closing at 11pm all this time?!!! Oh, but theres a sign posted SOMEWHERE in the gym with the hours.......... Where, I haven't got a clue, and why would I be checking I regularly anyway?!~ Is there some particular reason they couldn't have contacted all members via email or text message to let us know when they're changing the hours????!! Im looking into a class action lawsuit as other people have experienced the same issue. The new location is impressive. Just bring your sunglasses! It's very bright and the lights are not shielded. I attend all the large clubs in the area and it's by far the most dazzling. The cycle room is modern with the most advanced cycles I've seen. However, someone has misled them as to the proper settings for the amplification. It's apparently on the 'small hall' setting so everything has an echo. Several attendees said the same thing - difficult to understand the instructor or clearly hear the music. Speaking of instructors, someone should audit Sam/Sammie's class. She seems to be trying but is detached from the class going about 25% higher in repetitions than anyone else in the class. Few or no standing exercises or climbing. She's in great shape but has to realize that most in the class are of average conditioning. read more

Im so happy I chose fitness 19 as my new gym! I recently moved to temecula from san diego and thought it was the perfect time to get back in shape. I hadn't worked out for about 3 years and was nervous to get back into a gym routine, so I decided to try out personal training to get some help. Dil is the best personal trainer!! He works with you in terms of what youre looking for and finds the best workouts that fit your needs. I definitely recommend him if youre looking for a trainer. Not to mention he is very nice and also super flexible with your schedule. If youre looking to sign up for a new gym, come to fitness 19!
