Rolando Castañeda helped me out was very informative and knowledgeable as far as the memberships and the products he was offering. Helped me work out a schedule with the I house classes offered. Decent gym. It wasn't crowded when I went. I hate the new bars on the bench though. The plates rotate when you lift and it throws off my rhythm. I prefer the older bars. The dark ones that look a little rusted. Bench is a big part of my routine, so I won't be back to this one. Other than that, the gym is nice. Locker rooms are huge. read more

My second time in and I am already having customer service issues. I am leaving because Maddie the "manager" wouldn't accept my government issued id to watch my kid. If the manager were to read or actually care to work with her clients, I provided a state of Texas group A acceptable form of identification according to the state of Texas dshs website. Good luck with them on your sign up at this location too. Zero dollar enrollment is how they get you in the door so they can proceed to charge you twice the advertised rate for forgoing the "0 dollar enrollment". Slimey sales tactics.. nice looking gym though.. I'll keep going for the facility not for the staff or customer service. read more

The facility is nice. I was pleasantly surprised by the platforms in the squat rack. The gym does not have punching bags which is a big negative for many people and I personally don't understand why we can't use the spin bikes what there isn't a class going. There are no other bikes like that in the gym. My number reason for not giving 5 stars is the hours. The weekend hours are a complete joke, not opening until 8 am even on Saturday! I joined when they only had the satellite location while the gym was being built. I was told they would be 24 hrs and they still are not. I continue to get some generic answer as to when it may happen. I work retail and workout at night. When holidays come I won't be able to workout because they close at 12 and my work hours are extended. read more

After a club that I was a member at closed down (Texas Family Fitness) and sold their customers to Fitness Connection, I went to the club and met with Maddie and actually just wanted to cancel. She was very helpful and I was in and out in no time. I came back in the next day to check the place out just for the heck of it, and was impressed at the number of machines, free weight access and a dry sauna. The place was clean and decided to forgo cancelling and asked Maddie to not cancel my membership. Every time I go in now, I am greeted with a smile and unlike at Texas Family Fitness, not pushed to buy things I do not need. read more

The gym is clean with friendly staff and much newer equipment. The current policy is that members are to wear a face covering over the nose and mouth at all times. It appears the gym staff make some minimal effort to enforce the policy. Unfortunately, many members enter with a face covering and then lower it after checking in. Wearing face coverings under the nose is becoming the norm, and under the chin is becoming more common. This is particularly true in the free weights area. I often move from equipment before finishing sets, because a member with no face covering over the nose and mouth has moved to equipment next to me. In an attempt to remain safe, I alter my workout based on avoiding members who do not properly wear face coverings. If you are concerned for exposure to COVID 19, this may not be the gym to go to. read more

I live in Irving area and there is a fc 3minutes away from me but I rather take that 11minute drive to head to the Bedford location. Less crowd more room/machines in order for you to get that workout in. Front desk are always smiling and welcoming you. Kids club afternoon crew are on top of everything. My boys love the basketball court they are the ones they kept asking to come back here as well. read more

I don't understand why there are bad reviews, I've only had great experiences here. Came in with the 5 day pass and they let me know if I wanted to take advantage of their latest deal ($10 down and $10 monthly), I couldn't activate the 5 day pass, but they let me work out there for the day to decide if I wanted to enroll. It's an awesome gym, gigantic with tons of cardio machines, workout benches and machines, dumbbells exceeding 100lbs, bathrooms with showers, dressing rooms, and a sauna, and they gave out free samples of pre workout as you come in. Staff was friendly, and no one approached me during my workout for any reason like other reviewers mentioned. Overall this gym is awesome with an unbeatable price for what it offers read more

I am moving out of state and tried to cancel my membership and customer service told me I have to pay a 30-day cancellation fee, which is equivalent to 1 month. I said that is fine but now they tell me I will still be charged a $49 yearly membership cancellation fee as well. I asked for a supervisor and she said that was not possible. Then I tried to call the gym manager in Bedford where I signed up and the mailbox is full. I am beyond pist. The customer service is crap and they will not allow anyone to speak with a supervisor. That's fine take my 60 bucks but I will so blast every Fitness connection with bad reviews. read more

This is a solid gym. For sure the best I've been to for only 10$. Plenty of racks and bench's. Never have to wait to do squats, deadlift or press. Staff is chill af and there's always a pickup basketball game goin on. Don't understand these negative reviews. I don't go to the gym for good customer service. I was looking to get a new gym membership and came along with my friends because one of them had a guest pass, and I figured I'd give it a try and test out how the gym is. As my friends and I arrived and tried to go in to try out the basketball court, we were told by the employee "Stoney" that we were not allowed, and that we would have to leave. We all had enough guest passes and met all the criteria however we were given poor service by Mr "Stoney" and negligence and therefore decided to take our business elsewhere. read more

Simply put, the management would rather lose a customer who goes there 6 times a week then simply make 1 piece of equipment OF ITS ONLY TYPE, blocked due to covid-19 restrictions. I understand the spacing policies in place but when you have at least 5-6 pieces of equipment for leg workouts and only 1 decline chest press machine, I would think they could make some compromise for customers that want to use that piece of equipment. I politely asked the staff and two managers to make the equipment available over the course of a week and the answer today was, "WE CANT RE PURPOSE THE FLOOR BECAUSE YOU WANT THAT PIECE OF EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE." My answer was process my 30 day notice to end my membership which the manager happily did. This was suggested by the blonde manager by the way! Not a way to do business especially when many are struggling during this pandemic!! I'm going to Fitness Nation around the corner from this location. I'm sad because I really like this gym. The staff is great but the managers need to retain customers, not close their memberships! read more

This gym took a CANCELED membership of mine from a gym that closed several months ago in Bedford (Texas Family Fitness.) Then they used my banking information to open an account to charge me without my consent. Now they refuse to close the account unless I send a letter for something I didn't even start. This is ridiculous and I'm sure they do even more shady things. read more

I was given a guest pass by a worker there to check out the gym, but as soon as I walked in the manager said I couldn't use it and when I asked why he didn't respond and told me to get out. I was pretty confused and angry. When I asked him why I had to get out, he faked a phone call and left. If the management is that way then why should I give them business? read more

The club itself is great however the employees are having a hard time getting there to open the doors at 5:00 am. This morning it was 5:30.

Today I was embarrass by Jada, an employee of fitness connection. I was told my billing info was entered in wrong for a third time with fitness Connection Bedford. This is beyond frustrating. When the employees ask for my chase routing and account number... I hand them my phone. With the chase app unlocked. And the numbers got enter in wrong twice. I had to stand there for 30mins. To get this nonsense Correct again for something the employees. I was trying out fitness connection bc I pay $150 for my family membership at 24 hour fitness. And I have encountered half the problems I've had in the 1st months with fitness Connection Bedford. Something need to be done about this. read more

The facility is huge and extremely clean. The layout of the gym is very well put together. The equipment is all nice and new, and the women's workout area is amazing! The prices are wonderful as well, but I wasn't ready to sign up until Ms. Bijón who is an amazing employee there; gave me a wonderful tour and her personality was graceful and bubbly. I suggest the company double-check all their signage for grammatical errors, so you don't look incompetent. Upon noticing these errors, it made me more aware of the facility as a whole. Nice gym for cheap. This place is too CROWDED. Being charged monthly and late fees after terminating the membership. Customer support staff is even worse to deal with than some of the incompetent people working there at the gym.
