I called back one hour to cancel. A few days later I get a voicemail. I spoke with Angel (the new general manager) he stated my info was leaked. Previously employee signed me up. I get a voicemail For my outstanding balance of $107 Apparently there's a pattern of accounts being opened up in customers, names and bills being sent out. I don't trust any establishment with sketchy employees, especially at a time when credit fraud and credit identity theft is so prevalent. I know this review won't matter but I need to let out some hot gas. This place has gone DOWNHILL. They recently decided to expand the personal training area and condense the weight machines. This means you're forced to use the free weight area more, also the weight machines are super close together now. Shit doesn't fit. Why aren't you spending money on your bikes and crappy ellipticals? They need serious attention. As a gay man who primarily uses the weight machines and cardio, I'm SUPER annoyed. I say gay because I know several of us have free weight anxiety. That's where the dude bros go. I don't completely avoid it, I just don't enjoy it. It's not fair to expand the personal training area SOLELY for your greedy benefit. All so more people get trainers. Literally a scam. Save your money and go to the EOS fitness down the street. Main workers are all a bunch of unfriendly young people. I'm 20, so I'm not some bitter old mf just complaining. They also harass you like CRAZY if you give a phone number to them for the 2 week trial. I gave them my number on behalf of a friend and OH MY GOD they will not stop calling it's so annoying. Same thing with training. Give up after the third call. Other than that, I have more complaints about LA fitness and their system in general than this location and the staff. read more

This gym seemed to have gone downhill after they remodeled it. Some of the front desk staff do not care to be there. They are always on their cell phone and do not greet you. There is only one guy that greets you and that's about it. The bathrooms are nasty. I am not even sure they clean it regularly as there is trash everywhere. Its pretty disgusting. 3 Safety Reasons to not join LA fitness Euless right now: There is NO Mask policy. Staff and management will tell you they can't enforce it but they could start by just posting signs that say "Mask Up at All Times" just like Fitness Connection and Planet Fitness does. There will always be a few anti-maskers but if the gym would just post a sign requiring masks at all times, mask usage would increase and the risk of Covid spread could be reduced. The sign today reads "Masks required at check-in". Not good enough. Parking Lot Lights Do not work. Manager said they were fixed then two nights later they are still inoperable; said they have to be turned on manually. Figure it out so someone doesn't get robbed or trip over something. That could be an expensive at-fault lawsuit. Train your staff to do something simple: Greet your guests when they walk in and say bye when they leave. If I had a picture for every staff member on their phone or with their mask pulled down, not paying attention to their guests, my camera roll would be full. This starts with management. I don't even want to think about when the last time the bathrooms were sanitized, let alone the last time the equipment was sanitized. Although I enjoy coming here, the enforcement of masks needs serious attention. I see either masks are pulled down under the nose or completely removed and around patrons' necks. I have also witnessed a complete abandon of mask use on the weight floor - numerous times. It's not just one or two people, but handfuls. Please LA Fitness, enforce the rules, protect us, PLEASE! Gym closes at 11pm I was finishing my work out knowing I had a few minutes before closing time, at 10:55 they turned the lights off and started kicking people out of the gym. I also over heard employees disrespecting other gym members be arguing saying that they should already be out at exactly 11. This must be under different management this gym was my favorite gym to come to but needless to say I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Ive never had such a rude experience. As soon as the clock hit 11 the two men who were working today- the evening shift on 8/8- and they were very aggressive and hostile towards us. I understand everyone wants to go home but customer service still exists and more than that- being kind to people should still be the goal. Awful leadership and services team. I've spoke to them on multiple occasions throughout one year regarding my account with personal training of which I was told different things multiple times. Huge lack of honesty/business integrity regarding my account, some told me that I had signed up for a year so I couldn't cancel but in reality I didn't. Because when I came back and met in person with a manager, they told me that I could've canceled any time. So I put in a request to cancel, he did what he needed to do on the computer, and reassured me multiple times that my account was canceled. However, the next month I was auto drafted once again. Their notes in the system were inaccurate- it's like they purposely did it in order to keep me (keep drafting money) for another month or at least whenever I would notice and get really got pissed off to call my bank to do a charge back. The people who handle business affairs at this location at a local level have no business etiquette or training and seem to not know what they're doing when they're pulling up information on the account- if they do they are playing like they are dumb and not being ethically honest with customers. I highly recommend NOT to go here. Unfortunate because it's in a good area but this is a direct reflection of leadership and awful services! highly do not recommend any personal training services at this facility, very lazy leadership and incompetent to handle customer affairs. I use to come here every morning. Horrible Customer service. I tried to bring a friend so she could see if she wanted to workout with me weekly and no one was helpful. Two staff members literally laughed at me including the manager. I tried to be friendly with the manager at first, and tried to establish some rapport with him by saying he has probably seen me in in the mornings. And I got the eye roll and the comment "I see hundreds of people in the morning." No man, that place is empty in the mornings when you show up to work... get your head out of your ass man. You aren't that busy. I was then told I had to schedule an appointment to bring a friend and we would have to come back another day. Aren't you suppose to make it convenient for the customer? BTW, all the "staff" were sitting in front of their computers with no one in front of them and ALL were unwilling to help. Pathetic. I got in my car to see if you could get a guest pass after the fact. What do you know.... Same day, free guest pass. Nothing about an appointment. So instead of gaining a new membership you lose one. Only issue I have with the gym is the fact that they are not open on time most days. I wake up to go to the gym before school and work, but most of the time I can't get a workout in due to no opener. That being said I never know when to take my pre-workout due to waiting in my car for 30+ mins. It's disappointing that this is my closest gym, but I now have to drive to Hurst or North Richland Hills just because those are more reliable. read more

They Are not very nice about canceling their meberships. You have to print out a form and mail it in just for them to charge you for that entire month and I call bullshit. I'm not in the position to make it up to any gym and can no longer afford the gym. They make you cancel it in person or mail . And ridiculous. They will never get my service again. read more

First time there greeted by a young guy with curly hair and freckles. Nice right but unprofessional had hickies all on his neck. (Gross) had the nerve to flirt. Fast forward to yesterday I was not greeted by anyone. I scan my badge and the lady at the front desk yelled and said YOU HAVE A BILL. I walked over to her and said I'm sorry I didn't know I had a balance. When was it due? She replied today.. so I asked her if she would allow me to finish the class they had already started and then come back out to pay the bill that was just do that day. The girl replied that she could not do that that I had to pay it so I saw the curly hair dude with the freckles walked over to him to ask him if I can finish the class and pay the bill.. that same girl at the front. Desk yelled and said Tyler she won't pay her bill. How unprofessional is that. It's not about the bill. It's about respect fast Ford. Some manager called me this morning to ask me about what happened and I don't really feel that he was worried about what happened. He was more worried about me making that payment that was just do yesterday I told him I don't know if I want to belong to your gym anymore I was embarrassed I was made to leave. I was kicked out of the gym that I paid for Tyler. Also let me know that he was going to revoke my gym membership and that is fine. I brought my guest pass in and ended up leaving after about three minutes. I've never been treated so rudely as a potential customer at a gym before. Unfortunately, never coming back. I guess I should have looked at this Gym's low rating beforehand. Great gym, great price, staff is good. People are complaining about the mask mandate! Hahaha, stay home if youre scared, The mandate clearly states you do not have to wear a mask when actively working out, all you mask enforcers stay home if you're scared, this is a gym where you come to workout not enforce the mask. If you are actually working out the mask is a hazard. Glad this gym is doing what it is, if you wanna wear one go ahead, if not then that's up to you. AWESOME! WORKOUT! The staff were very friendly and helpful! I really appreciated the fact that the membership sales team wanted to help me out with my fitness goals. They gave me a simple workout to do since I didn't have a gameplan going in. The gym has everything I want to use. I think this is a really good LA Fitness, I wish there was a better way to give feedback though on improvements that could be made. If anyone knows a way I can do that, thank you! This place is clean and relatively quiet depending on what time you go. The various areas almost always have people using them, which is great to see. The pool/sauna area is very nice and the cardio area is too. They have a really big area of free weights and weight machines and I rarely have to wait for a machine. Their racquetball courts are awesome and do seem to be highly used, but as long as you reserve a day ahead you should be fine! The only thing I don't love is their group classes....they are just so very outdated! They also offer no sort of instructional breakdown. I will say their yoga classes are good, but there seems to be this weird hyper flow, where the classes aren't broken down into sections or segments by song (usually). So you just feel as if it is one long poorly pieced together routine. I may not be describing this well! read more

Gym itself is okay. 3 Squat Racks, 4 benches, 2 inclines and DBs up to 150lbs. Layout is standardized regardless of which Gym you go to in the area. Plenty of cardio equipment on 2nd level. Bathrooms are kind of gross, but enough to get you going if you want to get a decent workout in. However the cancellation process alone is enough to make me never come back to LA Fitness. You have to send in a request, by certified mail, using a form they print off at the front desk. I had to learn this after trying to cancel 3 times and LA Fitness corporate 'never having recieved my letter.' So of course I got the pushy 'Why are you leaving?'. 'I'm moving'. 'Well is there one that's close to you?'. Just give me the damn form! I get it - the subscription model means you want people to sign up and never leave - but the just the hoops you had to jump through to cancel will make sure even I move to an area with another LA Fitness I will not be joining. read more

Gym question settled LAFitness is out because sales person was a complete utter ASSHOLE!!!!! I liked the gym, signed up for membership talked about training session package. Lowest price was once a week for a year for $259 a month...recommended package was $440 a month. I said my budget was $100 MAXIMUM. I was then told that they were a professional gym, my commitment level wasn't at the 6 or so I thought but at a 1 because if I was really committed I'd find a way to pay for the $259. I canceled right that moment and the ass had the gall to want a reason and acted like I was at fault for taking up his time. Came from out of town and wanted to check out some gyms in the area. I came in with one of my friends that is a member to use a guest pass but apparently since I have an out of state ID I couldn't. But if I paid $15 for a day pass they would let me in. I don't I understand how liabilities can change from different passes based on you paying. I could also sign up for a membership using my out of state ID but not a guest pass. So I went to 24 Hour across the street and they were able to help me out no problem. LA Fitness y'all need to get it together and make it easier for people to access you facilities. There shouldn't be a different liability clause if I pay or don't pay. read more

Canceled membership today because they billed me a price I didn't agree to. Every time I ask to speak to someone about the issue they give me the run around. Finally was able to speak to a manager who did the same thing and said she had to ask corporate about the issue. Her name is Traci and she treated me very rudely and tried to turn the situation around on me saying "Didn't u look at the billing email we sent?"....obviously she doesn't care about customers because when I asked her to just cancel membership she happily did so. I like the GYM, but there are several issues that make me give it only 2 stars. I feel like they don't really listen to suggestions or give the equipment proper maintenance. Some of the treadmills are very noisy and it's very distracting, you can even hear the noise with headphones on! It sounds like there are powered by hamsters. Also, I have taken the Latin Heat class since February (5 months ago) and the instructor plays the exact same music every time. This is making my friend and I want to quit the GYM, it was our favorite class but we are very sick and tired of the same songs over and over and over again. I filled out a suggestion at the front desk and they told me they would talk to the instructor but the music remains the same, It's not like I want a better type of music, I just don't want to have the same songs and on the same order time after time. Other people that used to take the class have quit because of that. The lady is great, you can tell she is a good instructor, but the repetition kills my motivation. I really like the Pilates and Cycle instructors, as well as Body works. Too bad my favorite was always Latin Heat until I started going to the Euless location. I say if you have a DIFFERENT LA Fitness near by, go to it. read more

This is my gym and I love it here. I consider this gym my home away from home. There's a very diverse group of members and everyone is very nice. There are definitely some hard core fitness people here, but I never feel intimidated or unwelcome by anyone. Overall people are very normal and considerate of each other. I don't know that I have ever seen a piece of machinery I use broken. They have all the machines I like, plenty of room and it is rarely unbearably crowded. It's not super nice, but the price is extremely competitive. All of the employees are very friendly and helpful. read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. Below is a review I left a few months ago. At the time it was Newley remodeled and I thought I'd give them time to fix some BIG issues. Needless to say they did not. I went to the gym on Jan 16th and there were RED ANTS in EVERY SHOWER. Not to mention the BLACK MOLD has gotten worse. The gym definitely has a great appearance in the workout area BUT don't let that sell you. Take a look in the locker rooms. I'm shocked that they don't put effort into this part of the facility especially with 24 hour fitness NOW OPEN across the street. I will be checking out that gym immediately. The gym was remodeled in early Oct 2016. This was a much needed remodel as the gym was pretty run down and poorly taken care of. Since the remodel they have done a much better job of keeping it clean. All the cardio equipment is BRAND NEW which is a blessing. The Kids Club was also remodeled which was nice to see. The staff in the kids club are great. They always remember my kids names and do their best to keep the kids entertained. I will say the overall staff that works on the weekends are much better than the staff during the week. The staff during the week in Kids Club and the front desk are less than personable. Half the time they don't even acknowledge you when you walk in. There is one newer guy that works in the early morning that is absolutely awesome. He's always happy and engaging first thing in the morning, which impressive for 5am. I only have two issues really with the gym. One is the location//size of the personal training area. I'm all for personal training but the location is not great. It's huge and right in the middle of the gym. 90% of the time nobody is using the area BUT don't think this means it's open for anyone. Oh no, they make it known that it's a personal training area only. My advice, if nobody is being "trained" allow others to use the area as it's taking up a good chunk of space. Now going back to the "cleanliness" of the gym. They do a great job of keeping the workout areas clean. However, they still neglect the locker rooms as if people don't go in them. The men's locker room is usually a hot mess. Running out of toilet paper, paper towels and don't get me started on the showers. The showers should be ripped out and replaced. They have so much grime on them I don't think they're cleanable. Not to mention some of them have black mold. So yeah....enter at your own risk. All and all it's a much better gym now that it's been redone. I definitely would recommend not using the showers or the locker rooms unless it's an absolutely must. I know people read these and just move on but I have never seen anything like this. I have been a long time member of LA moving around just using the local gym. Moved to Euless and decided to try something new so I joined a different gym and wanted to cancel LA. I called and they said I had to come in to cancel. Annoying but it will be fine. Drove there and was told that I can only come in to cancel between 9-5 Monday-Friday. Those are my work hours. I can't make that time. So I asked what can we do? They kid at the desk Mario said I have to come back during those hours. I told him i can't and I want to cancel. He finally said I can call during those times. I asked if he could leave a note for the only person who can. He said "fine". I left. Called to leave a voicemail for the operations manager. Was hung up on. Called again and he said that I can call back. I asked who the GM was. He said it was him. And a direct quote from him. "Are we done here". I don't want to keep paying them but I guess I have to take time off work to get this done. I can't believe someone who works in "customer service" would treat a current customer this way. I've been sitting in my car since 5am to kick off a new month wrk out program. It is now 5:30 and the door is still locked. No employee to open the door to the gym. Everyone is standing out side, waiting in their car or have left pissed off bc we all woke up early on a cold Monday morning to get in a work out. I used to be a member at the LA fitness on Lovers lane, but this one is much bigger, have two floors and lots of equipment. I usually work out in the morning and very few people at the gym but my personal trainer told me it is super busy at night so that might affect many people's experience. I have been working with two personal trainers here and continue with one, both are very good. Since Euless is a suburb you may think you can get rid of irresponsible college kids. Wrong, irresponsible people come at all ages, some people just left the weights on the floor or on the machines after their work out which can be dangerous to other people, However, most people are nice here, occasionally I need to share the machines with other people, just ask politely and everyone has no problem with that. read more

This review is not for the gym itself (because it's not bad), but rather for the personal trainer named Jason, who is dishonest. So I'm told I get a free body assessment, and I think to myself 'great, I get to see where I'm at and what I need to do to get in shape.' When I get there, I quickly realize that The reason they do this is to convince you to get a personal trainer. Jason takes my measurements and tells me that I have a BMI of a little over 25! Right off the bat, I wasn't exactly sure what that meant (it had been a while), but when he showed me the chart, I had a feeling something was off. I'm a 103 pound petite girl, and 25 seemed way too high. Later that day I did some of my own research, and it said a BMI of 25 is for someone who is overweight and close to being obese. I bought my own BMI scale and found that my BMI was actually 19.5. I thought, 'maybe I'll give him the benefit of doubt- it might be something wrong with the BMI scale they have.' I went in a few days later and noticed they had the same BMI scale he used out. I asked one of the front desk people if I could use it. They said yes. When I measured it it said my BMI was 19.7. I do not appreciate being lied to. Do your own research people! read more

Came in for a "free" work out pass cause this is not the gym i attend. And the guy in the front did not accept the voucher instead he charged me $16 for a daily pass. Since i was with a friend that has a membership and he drove from Dallas i paid for it. We were there already. People at the front desk were extra cocky and not helpful. Instead one of them found it funny that i had a "free" and even said something "jokingly" about a membership. Poor customer service and not professional employees. I am fairly disappointed in this location. And do not recommend. I wish i had gotten the names of the employees but i just wanted to get my work out in and go.
