I went to the doctor. The doctor said I had severe arthritis in my hip and back . I ignored it, until I cold not ignore it any longer. Since my daughter was already training with Ray , he obviously noticed my decline . He told me he could fix me. I ignored it some more. SMH!!!!! My hips were on the verge of locking. I couldnt lay down in the bed at all. It was to painful. Finally i asked Coach Ray to help because I just couldnt take it anymore. I missed walking., I missed being able to climb the stairs, get in the tub and jusst simply sit down and stand up without pain. I have always told Coach V and Coach Ray that i trusted them. Although my international competitive career has come to an end, Vern still keeps me as physically ready as I can possibly be to compete at national and local levels. He gave me a meal plan, a workout plan for the days we weren't together. I saw him 2x a week but had a plan for the entire week to help with weight loss. Then in January 2025 I had to switch times I could go and Vlad wasn't available on those days cause of other clients. I switched over to Vern and honestly it was the best thing I could have done. I went before work and the gym has its own private showers that I used every visit since I worked right after. When I switched to Vern I went to 3 days a week and I saw the results quickly. Not only was Vern a great trainer he was full of knowledge that helped me understand the why's behind our workouts. I was more educated on how our body works simply thru conversations between sets. Vern was always greeting me with a smile and already had the things we were going to do set up so we didn't lose much time since our visits were short. Maximizing the time together was important to him which was a great feeling to know he wanted the same thing I did. To help me be healthier. I am sad that after 8 months together came to an end cause I'm moving out of state. I would recommend these trainers to everyone. I never lifted before. I was a beginner. He cancelled the first session and then failed to show up at the second. After he failed to show up, I received an email from him telling me that he was leaving the area for a week or two for personal reasons, and he would contact me to reschedule when he got back. That was eight weeks ago, and I have heard nothing from him since, even though I made repeated efforts to contact him. I now realize I am out over $500 for sessions I prepaid that I will probably never receive. It has been a major disappointment.

He pushes you, motivates you, and definitely keeps it interesting. He fits a ton of different exercises into a 45 minute session. Our busy schedule required a 'before work' session and it has done wonders for my energy and alertness throughout the day. The two day a week training sessions along with his comprehensive diet goals really helped me to lose the weight I set out to lose. After 2 months I had lost 20 pounds. After 3 months of training with Mike, I feel noticeably stronger, healthier and happier. He's made a believer out of me and I can't recommend him enough!
