I recently replaced my tankless water heater. The greatly inadequate one previously installed was no longer on the market...hmmm, I wonder why? Anyway, after great frustration and intermittent hot water, I did my research on repairs and replacement. I contacted another company that was going to charge in excess of $220.00, just to come out and give me an estimate. Nope, thank you. I contacted Fitzgerald Plumbing, after looking them up on the BBB and reading the reviews. We scheduled the appointment. The servicer, William, arrived on time. He told me what I already knew, the water heater I had wasn't in production, that he could "patch" it to work, but would not last. I knew it, besides, it wasn't big enough to support a tri-level home. I don't believe in patching, you only end up paying more. He called in the order, we scheduled the installation for a couple of days later. He went to his vehicle and came back a few minutes later and said that have one in stock and that he'd go get it and come back and install it. Wait, the same day, I asked, and he said yes. Of course, I was excited but concerned, he had already been here more than an hour. He had to get in traffic to drive back to the warehouse then turn around and come back across town to install the water heater. No problem, he said. Sure enough, he did just that, he was here probably longer than he anticipated, but I appreciated it. I received a followup message from the company inquiring about my experience and satisfaction. I told them I do get hot water, but I have to run the water awhile before the hot water cycles through. I figured it was because of the distance from the source. My concern about water waste was eating at me. They had William contact me so that he could address my concerns. Another appointment made, but he had contacted the vendor, I guess, and explained my situation. He brought an apparatus to apply, that pushes the hot water upward faster. I appreciate Fitzgerald's honest representation of the values, attention to my concerns, great personnel, customer satisfaction, and reaching out to show their appreciation to their customers. This is a review from my wife who had to deal with this plumbing problem whiIe I was stuck at work!.....I found Fitzgerald Plumbing on Yelp and they are amazing!!!!!! I called Mike Diamond and Roto Rooter first because those were the only plumbers I could think of when I was panicking and our tub water was draining and coming up in our toilet and shower!! They couldn't come out for two days! I searched on yelp and saw Fitzgerald Plumbing having 5 stars. It was 9:00 at night and I called the number. It went to voicemail but the voicemail said to text the number to get a faster response. So I did and literally seconds later, Patrick texted me back saying he would be out at 9am the next morning! Amazing!!!! Patrick came right on time and explained everything to me so thoroughly! I knew I could trust him and he would do a great job and I was right! He knew the problem very quickly, got out his equipment and went to work! He even explained everything he was doing to me while he worked and helped me understand the problem and the solution! He was done in less than an hour I think and my whole house was functional again! So polite, so nice, so professional!! Great customer service and quality work! Beats the other competition by far! I would give this company 6 stars if possible. Noticed a water leak on my ceiling under an upstairs bathroom. I contacted them based on other reviews and they responded right away and scheduled a appointment. Ralph came out and was so helpful and informative. He diagnosed the problem and possible causes. He had to open up the ceiling and at once found the problem, and fixed it. He was so helpful and kept me informed and showed me the issues. Their cost was in line with what I expected to pay. The time factor in making the fix was better than I expected and Ralph's professionalism exceeded what I expected and had experience by some repair people in the past. I would recommend this company for any plumbing type jobs you have and will not call anyone else in the future if a problem occurs in my home. read more

I woke up to both my toilets overflowing, and my tub filling up with dirty water on New Years Eve. I was having family over in the evening, and needed help immediatley!!! I called my brother for advice, and he recommended Fitzgerald Plumbing. The lady was extremely helpful on the phone, and there was a plumber at my house within the hour. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a "main-line stop-up", and immediatley got to work. In less than two hours he was done, and actually cleaning my bathtub! His price was extremely reasonable, and I was shocked to find that there was no extra charge for the holiday. Fitzgerald plumbing is now my go to plumber! We called for an emergency service on the weekend and since the technician could not figure out how to open the water cage, which is actually the wrong area to shut the main off, he left our property with no message or text to let us know. When I texted back (a couple of times) the contact Patrick to ask if they would return the next week to fix this leak for us, there was NO RESPONSE or REPLY. How do you leave a potential consistent client hanging with an emergency leak? We chose this business to "support local business" and had to contact another plumber from another city to help us in Lakewood. Disappointing. Customer service retains good customers. I was at my mothers house and noticed water under ther kitchen sink. I called Fitgerald Plumbing to come out. The tech was at my house within the hour and got to work after giving me a very reasonable price for the semi-repipe he needed to do. Most of the pipe that was damaged was crumbling to pieces. The tech worked quickly to get our water back on and my kitchen working again. I was very impressed with the professionalism. The tech had a clean appearence and great attitude. Ralph explained what had to be done in detail and provided us with a quote, which we accepted. He immediately started the process of replacing the heater, making sure everything was installed to code. He patiently explained each process he was performing and why. His work was efficient and very professionally accomplished.
