PVD responded quickly and professionally to my request. I was afraid that I had a very bad leak underground due to a very wet soggy lawn. I was afraid that the leak was under the cement slab nearby. Instead it was 2 different leaks, 1st the main line of the sprinkler system was cracked and a second leak was a very bad leak out of the pool. PVD repaired and replaced the cracked sprinkler line and the 40 year old valves nearby (my request) . Beto and Humberto were quick, clean and professional. for the pool leak PVD recommended a pool professional that located the leak, removed the tiles affected, resealed the wall and replaced the tiles with new very similar tiles, again professionally done. I called this service last minute to get a pipe fixed for my backyard drain before the bad storm came. They were able to fit me in with her one day notice everyone I talk to is super nice they came out when they said they were going to come out they worked hard all day fix the pipe that needed to be fixed. Worked with me to figure out what was going on and what was wrong with my drains.. all the guys that came out were super nice. Explain everything as needed. Unfortunately, I still need more work done but the work they quoted me they got done in a timely fashion. The cost for the service was on par with all services that do this type of work. Fredrico, and his guys came it at the best price and were not joking around. They were knowledgeable, hard working and accommodating to questions. All in all it took 1.5 days to dig out the cast iron lines re-pipe from underneath without uninstalling bathroom toilets or fixtures. (All except one cast iron toilet flange). Their attention to site prep and putting down sheets to prevent dirt was a great service. Tip: review all the scopes of work with the plumber on site and be sensible, any new work additions or major changes are 'Change Orders' - (This is the way). They carried out their QC checks by running all taps, and showers to visually check at connections for leaks and followed up by removing the old cast Iron lines (alot of companies simply cut the old drain lines and fittings then leave them in the crawl space). I have a background in hotel, commercial and residential construction and I will be happy to work with PVD plumbers in the foreseeable future. Plumbing isn't about watching YouTube videos and thinking a DIY job is enough. When it comes to the guts of a house you can't take big risks. When customers have a big ego and think they know more than the plumbers, that's when customers shoot themselves in the foot. Could I have done this myself? Maybe but it would have taken me a month and I wouldn't be able to garuntee if the work would leak. Save yourself the hassle and check your egos. PVD would not follow my request to use the proper bit for the snake that would remove the roots. PVD charged me $400 for nothing. For a company that prides themselves in "Honest plumbing" , I am flabbergasted and disappointed by the owner's response to my experience. Owner decided to add arbitrary and inaccurate time stamps. If you want to give a detailed description of what happened, at least be honest. Our appointment was set at 2pm, I did not call at 2:01, and the plumber did not show up at 2:22pm. Freddy quoted me $1800, which is close to $2k in my opinion. If he meant $1450, he should have said $1450. I love these guys! Freddie came out to give me an estimate on a new water line w/copper pipes and a two-way sewer line for my old house on Monday. We made a deal and his team arrived promptly at 8am Friday. Freddie's team was professional, diligent and finished what I considered a big job in one day. They dug a major trench in my front yard, set the sod off to one side and the underground dirt on the other side. Did the piping in a few hours, installed the new valve and put my front yard back together and looked as good as new. You would've never known they had been there. The side yard, another major trench was dug up for a two way-sewer line. There was a massive tree trunk buried in the trench and they diligently removed the tree, installed the new sewer line, provided a hydro jet cleaning and then cleaned EVERYTHING up. Again, there was no sign that work had been done. My old home has begun its move to have modern plumbing. These guys are good! Had an option to wait for parts or replace it completely. (The pilot light wouldn't stay on & whirlpool didn't make great water heaters) Since this was at a rental property I chose to have it replaced. These guys were amazing. Unused Prodigy pluming on Friday when I came home to a pipe leak in the units above our garages. They charged $1100 to repair a pipe which took one person one hour. But I had no choice as I did not want to inconvenience the tenants. They explained the back two units / laundry area has galvanized pipes and would likely need a repipe (I knew this day was coming). They quoted me $18,000. I knew it was a con and insanely overpriced. I called for multiple quotes and PVD came out that same day as well. They didn't care that Prodigy pluming was still here when they came to give me the quote. One day later (Saturday) got a quote and for half the price PV PLUMBING was here and amazing.
