I came to Nordstrom Rack the other night and was Shocked by how much merchandise they had. It felt almost like too much! But, if you're searching for clothing, accessories, shoes, or even makeup, I'm sure you'll be able to find something here! For me it felt a little overwhelming to me, because it seemed a bit chaotic, but I know the staff is working really hard and it's not their fault the store is overflowing with products. Another thing that surprised me was how many products now have security tags or are even behind glass! It made me wonder if they've been experiencing theft...? Hopefully not! I often find a lot of good stuff at this location, so I'll be back again soon and hope that the amount of merch may just be a seasonal thing. read more

Stopped by Nordstrom Rack in Laguna Hills today as we had to return some merchandise and do a bit of shopping. The customer service is stellar and the store is well stocked with lots of gift ideas for the holidays. Nice selection and excellent value. During our last visit my wife picked up two lovely pairs of boots. Great value, terrific staff and amazing inventory. Highly recommended read more

Wow, I am so surprised to see how many negative reviews here for this Nordstrom Rack location. I have been shopping here for several years now and also pick up my online orders when I don't want to drive to the mall. It has always been an okay location. This Nordstrom rack is a bit nicer than the one off El Toro in that is cleaner inside, less crowded and just a nicer experience. The line moves pretty fast and the cashiers are nice and helpful. Prices are much, much better than a mall Nordstrom. read more

Today, at appx 5:30 pm, the line was all the way to the sales floor, and only 3 employees working the registers. Ridiculous. I should've taken a photo. This has been a problem for years, and they refuse to increase their payroll. I've put hundreds of dollars of merchandise back on the racks because of this. Loss prevention goes up as well, because not everyone is putting the clothing back like me. People resort to stealing, to avoid waiting in these long lines that move at snail speed. Also, I was informed that you can no longer earn points, only at Nordstrom retail stores starting June 3rd. Two thumps down. read more

I really wanna like this Nordstrom rack because it's so close to my house but unfortunately, every time I go there the store sale items and clearance items are very congested and hard to go through. The selection of handbags could definitely be larger. I find myself getting overwhelmed with all of the congested items, and I end up leaving. I don't go as often as I used to because it's always very busy in this location so you have to go very early in the morning if you want to get some shopping done the line also gets very long for returns and for overall shopping I do have to say anytime I have purchased anything. The sales people have been very nice and helped me as quick as they could. read more

The person at the counter wouldn't accept a visa gift card. They blamed it on the Nordstrom system. What unfortunate friction in a shopping experience. I'm spending $400-500 per visit for my family and I can't use a random gift card in my cupboard to have $100 off. Bad business. read more

This is a huge NR for the area and they have everything you could ever ask for. I found some dry shampoo with color to hide my gray roots that grew out of nowhere like this JUST happened!! I find this NR very convenient for making returns of Nordstrom purchases, and for pickup of Nordstrom Rack online purchases. There's a dedicated section for pick ups/returns and when I went in the late morning, I was helped quickly. I've also purchased clothes here. Service here: returning, picking up, purchasing, and fitting room, has been nice. Went in to get some running shoes (well, really walking shoes) for my mother. We came across Farid in the shoe department. He was wonderful, so personable and knowledgeable about the brands. Found a few outfits, but I was very disappointed and frustrated with the ENTIRE store layout. I've been to many many many Nordstrom's and Nordstrom Racks too (Texas, Chicago NY, MI, CA) and this is by far the worst one. The checkout lane is a joke. You can barely fit the shopping buggy. Plus the way most of the clothing racks are over full and it makes it difficult to shuffle items thru. I expect this from ROSS but NEVER from Nordstrom's rack or none rack stores. read more

Came in to buy my daughter a purse for her birthday. Had an employee following us around the handbag section and instead of offering assistance he kept staring at me and my daughters for the whole time we were there. What could improve would probably be the department managers attitude. I tried returning an item today,the cashier said oh it's past the return date but let me get a manager.. I would have been fine if she had just said no can't return it, I didn't ask for a manager! The manager came over looking quite annoyed and first thing out of her mouth was 'what's the problem" I said I didn't have a problem I was just trying to return a blouse. It all seemed a little much with her acting like the enforcer when it didn't need to be. I was totally fine with them not taking it back. It turned what should have been a simple "I'm sorry , we're unable to take it back" into an awkward unnecessary rude exchange. Just be pleasant and explain the policy in a professional non defensive manner and don't immediately assume the customers going to give you a hard time. In reading the reviews, I am comforted to know that I am not alone in how the staff and management (sometime) treat customers. The last time I was in to return items, the cashier did not know how to process returns. Instead of asking for help on how to locate an order number, she was bullying and belligerent to me. I felt like I was dealing with a child. I asked for help and the manager who assisted doubled down on the rudeness. If returns are so difficult for them, possibly this store should implement a return specific associate that can efficiently process a return in a friendly manner. I know this exists at this store because I've had lovely associates provide great service in the past. I never know the service I may get so, I find myself dreading going into this store. Every single time I come to this store the line is out of control! It is 1pm on a Monday and they have 1 cashier working. There are 11 people in line ahead of me and 9 People behind me. Just had a very pleasant shopping experience at this Nordstrom Rack! Not the typical crazy shopper energy.. must be the laid back location. Staff was really friendly and helpful, Amy H: winning personality.. yes! Someone who smiles! I understand retail work is difficult, I was once there too. Parking was easy.. convenient off the 73.. I've had several disappointing experiences at this specific location and avoided shopping from here unless I had to. I recently ordered 6 pairs of shoes from Nordstrom.com to be picked up at this Rack location ( on Feb 11th) since it's near my house. While I was there I found couple of items I liked so I then headed to the line that had the " online pick up" sign and where I have previously gone to pick up online orders. The lady at that register saw me but completely ignored my existence for about 10 mins and called the next customer waiting in the other line for purchases. I thought it may be because the other line had more people and she was trying to help with the line so I kept waiting. After several customers she helped from the other line while avoiding any eye contact with me , I tried to get her attention out of frustration to see why she was not helping me. At this point which was approximately 25 mins later, our line was building up. I didn't want to go to a different line either not knowing if they can help with the pick up orders and plus I had already waited much longer than expected. The lady behind me was also extremely agitated of this poor customer service and tried to get the lady's attention as well. Finally the cashier lady ( for the lack of knowing her name, here is the description: middle eastern, long dark hair with glasses) called me when people in our line started to complain. I then wanted to purchase those three additional items I found too in addition to picking up my online order but she refused to ring them up and said she can't help the "on line order" line with purchase at this register and I would have to go back in the other line and wait... I found this beyond ridiculous and a lack of customer service. Amber, the manager came over and didn't have a better attitude and got loud in front of other customers saying "there is another line for purchase and that I needed to go wait over there like everyone else ". She completely ignored the fact that I was waiting longer than many of the people in the other line and it didn't make any sense to make your customers wait in two different lines for different purposes!!! It's so sad to see that the "Nordstrom " reputation of good customer service is completely dead at this store. I recently saw a chat regarding this location on a local Facebook group with customers having similar issues so I thought to write a review for others to be aware of the experience many people are having at this location. The upper management needs to give better training to their staff and supervisors at this location. I will never go back to this location or request a pick up from there ever again. There are many other options out there so I would rather spend my money at department stores that values their customers and want their business. read more

She refuses to allow the customer to speak and then repeats things as if she wasn't heard the 1st time. Nordstrom CS and sales are going downhill and this is who y'all hold onto as the CS experience MANAGER?! I buy thousands of dollars of merchandise in this store. My mother passed away recently so I went to return one of the Christmas gifts I got more than 45 days ago and they would not make an exception. In fact Reiner I think was very rude. I did brake down because this loss is so recent. Do I politely left in tears. I just did not want to look at these pj's. Anyway I will not be shopping here anymore. I came to visit on a birthday trip with my family and received looks from staff. My family felt very unwelcomed and were not approached for help or assistance. We were given looks throughout entire shopping experience and will not be returning. If you are expecting the same quality service and merchandise as Nordstrom do not shop at the "Rack" Twice I went to pick up an order they said would be there and both times they could not find it. Definitely not the same customer service you receive at Nordstrom's buyer beware. What a waste of time and gas. The men's selection is a tad light, but you can find great buys on adidas sweats and other workout clothing. Popular sizes are harder to find but if you look, you can typically find a great deal on ties, and even dress shirts. About 90% of store is catered to women and my wife was amazed at the selection and prices of the shoes in stock. The store is very clean and organized, the staff are pleasant and there is plenty of parking; however, the checkout lines are long and move slowly. read more

I am a loyal Nordstrom customer and belong to there rewards program . I also have the Nordstrom credit card . I purchased DR Marten boots and had planned on returning them because they did not fit . They we're in the original box with tags still attached . Never Worn. They were hidden in the spare tire compartment in my trunk and I forgot all about them . It was passed the 45 days for returns and the manager said no exceptions to policy . I have the receipt and the store is also still Selling the same boot. I asked if I could get a store credit and if she could make a exception based on my past loyalty to Nordstrom . She said No. Due to this poor customer service handling my husband and I will no longer shop at Nordstrom and we are cancelling our credit cards. Extremely poor manager judgement read more
