Not only do the trays look awesome, but how wonderful that Paige offered to do this, even though it was 5-minutes to closing. To the owner of the store, Paige and the other person working stayed an additional 15-'minutes, and did it with a smile on their faces. Im coming back this week to customize more items for the children in my family. This is going to make Christmas gifts easy and special. The staff here have always been…read morefriendly, helpful, they have a comic section with books from the last year or so on the right side of the store which includes titles from Marvel, DC, Image, Dynamite, and a few titles from independents. I have not seen many back issues with the exception of wall comics. They have a pretty large area of clearance $1 comics on the left side of the store which seem to be 2-3 years old books. I like that these $1 boxes are on tables and my back appreciates that they are easy to sort through. They also have an inventory of collected editions which includes trade paperbacks, hardcovers, omnibus, and compendiums. The owner Kerry has tried to help me find some obscure current comic books a couple times which I appreciate. The staff have all been helpful and easy to work with. I believe they do a significant amount of business in trading card/game card these days, but still have a respectable comic offering.

Ever since then, he's been talking about them nonstop -- they're literally the only thing he's told Santa he wants. This morning, I called to see if they were still in stock, and I was so happy to hear they were -- and that they were the last ones! The woman I spoke with on the phone was incredibly kind and even offered to put them on hold for me, which was amazing. I also mentioned that I'd be coming in with my 2-year-old and that having the items ready up front would really help keep the Christmas magic alive. When I arrived, they went above and beyond. The items were on hold, and she discreetly scanned them under the counter, completely out of my toddler's line of sight. She bagged them with tissue paper so nothing was visible, and the entire staff was genuinely happy to help make this a magical moment for our family. The people who work here are so knowledgeable about books and scan always recommend the perfect novel or nonfiction based on a description of your preferences. It reminds me of the days when there were neighborhood video rental shops before Blockbuster and Netflix. You could walk in and describe what you were in the mood for, and they would find you the perfect film. Towne Center is this for books!! And they gift wrap for free!!! Why go anywhere else!?! I initially had low hopes coming into this store looking for specific loose pieces my child wanted…read morebecause we were unsuccessful in 3 other stores. So, my child ended up getting something different. At a whim, I decided to ask Cole, the team member that assisted us at checkout, even though it was already a long shot for me. To my surprise, Cole knew what I was asking about and said he recollected there may be some left and checked the drawers but wasn't able to find any. He then asked if I wanted him to check the back room but he had already gone the extra mile just by checking the drawers for me so I declined. However, he insisted that it would only take 10 seconds and I said why not - so as long as I wasn't hindering him from anything. Sure enough, it was less than 10 seconds and he came out with them!! I WAS SO HAPPY but not as happy as my child! So, because of Cole, we left extremely happy and satisfied. It wasn't the fact that they had the item, but I felt Cole went above and beyond to actually TRY to ensure customer satisfaction and didn't give a dismissive attitude or answer. Even if hypothetically, he recalled incorrectly and there wasn't anymore in stock, I still would have been satisfied because of the effort he put into checking multiple places to see if they had it. Genuinely, it was my first time being helped in that manner in any retailer, so it gave me hope that customer service compassion isn't dead or something of the long past. So, I don't know if anyone has had a similar experience like me, but I'm very glad to have had such an impactful experience here by this particular team member and I'll be sure to check here first for all of my children's needs!

This is the Lego store inside Stoneridge mall , Pleasanton…read more I was here to purchase a few Christmas gift last year . Today I am surprised that the store is pretty empty with few choices of LEGO sets . Last time I got lots of gifts from different themes: Chinese new year , Japanese garden , kitchen , animas , Star Wars and Harry Potter, Super heroes, play house , battle ships , etc . The rest of the mall are having Good Friday vibes and filled up with new merchandise. I am a little disappointed . Did not make a purchase because I did not find anything interesting.
