Here I am, once again, looking for some blind bags. Why? I'm addicted and I need to feed my addiction. Plus I enjoy seeing what different things each Five Below location has. Walked it, greeted quickly. I noticed that the people who work here are incredibly friendly. I also noticed that the building was clean and I mean CLEAN CLEAN. Everything was organized and stocked. Well, stocked until I came to the blind bags/box area. There were these cute BTS blind bags box. Unfortunately it was empty. I settled for a cute Jurassic World blind bag and a One Piece blind bag. As one reviewer mentioned, Five Below is like a Daiso and Dollar Tree but with items $5, with a few $10 items. A lot of toys, games, electronics, yoga and exercise equipment, no brand cosmetics, old-school candy and just fun to peruse around. It's one of those stores, once the item is gone...it's gone... I would say this store attracts the under 18 crowd with plenty of stuffed animals and candy! My 11 year old niece loves coming to this store...and I'll find some random items I don't really need. I bought a $1.50 collagen face mask to compare to a $7 Le Mieux Face Glow Mask...definitely a difference but any kind of moisturizing is better than none at all I suppose. Five Below opened where Dress Barn once was. Fully stacked store bereft of patrons. Only 1 staffer seen. Five carries a wide array of products all under $5: Office/beauty & cosmetics/party & seasonal goods, Books, balloons, "tech" accessories, games, toys, candies, chips, snacks, ramen. Most items are discounted goods that are near their sell by date or haven't sold well in mainstream outlets. The inventory has improved over my previous visit. Similar goods available at like stores nearby at comparable prices.. 3ish stars: it's a treasure hunt to find bargains and/or reasonable prices. read more

Came here looking for rubber ducks that I couldn't find and left with so much more. They have great character tshirts for only $5.55, better than many of the styles in the major department stores or mall. Theres Sanrio, looney tunes, Disney, Mario, pack man and so much more. They also have some fun toys you wouldn't find elsewhere. The staff here are very friendly. Wish they would only answer the phone. read more

The store is a bit chaotic, however you can get a bang for you buck here. I purchased around 15 items for $50 today. I got a bunch of stocking stuffers and gifts for my nephews. It is self checkout, so if you run into issues, you could be waiting for a while for staff to come help. There are also a lot of abandon items at the self checkout which causes a lot of clutter to build up. read more

Brand spanking new fancy dollar store mashup Daiso Target drugstore All in one! A bit of everything beauty, clothing, accessories, electronic, stationary, excercise equipment, arts & crafts. And of course snacks and candy! Tons of toys and some holiday decor. Majority of items are 5.99 and below. I saw a $10 gaming chair that time i was there. Worth checking it out for sure! We live in Concord area and have a pretty small store here so I was pleasantly surprised at how large this location was. There are a lot of different aisles with a lot of goodies in the store, mostly organized and easy to find things. I walked out with more than I really came in for which is a good thing, to some. Ha ha, but I definitely like this location in terms of the amount of product you can actually get for such a deal. read more

I've been to this specific store three times in less than a week. My oldest daughter asked me yesterday if I can take her again after school tomorrow. I noticed that many teenagers shop here. I'm glad there is a more affordable store that teens like besides Sephora. Five Below in Dublin just opened the beginning of this month and I'm sure it'll do well in the tri valley. Personally, I've spent quite a bit here already. Prices definitely vary with most hovering in the $5.55 range up to $10. It definitely is not the cheapest; but, it's average as far as their price point. Some of their items are very poor in quality while others are once again average. Nothing has "stood out" as far as quality. At this time; they only sell iPhone accessories. There are no Samsung or Android accessories. What I noticed is that their chips were all priced at $5. Ummmm...you can definitely get better deals at your grocery store, Target, etc. Just be aware that not everything is worth the price here. Some of their tiny toys (slime, stationary, stickers, random toys) are more than Target, etc. Other than that, they do have cute stuff! read more

Overall pretty impressed with this store, actually kinda of surprised with their overall selection of stuff. It's kinda has a dollar store and daiso fusion vibe to it imo. So was there during the first day there (dec 1/Friday) and had to go back for another gift run for a friend. So upon entering this time, they have a Christmas or seasonal area and beyond that they had a nice selection of toys ranging from hello kitty to funkco pops to board games. Beyond that, they had some animal toys and stuff and some small electronics. They even had some clothing albeit it seems to be more geared to females or just unisex related clothing. They huge health and beauty area and heading towards the self-checkout they had a very nice selection of candy and snacks. And forgot to mention, they had children activity books and books and some books for teens or adults. Overall very impressed with the store and look forward to coming back again and again. read more

I have been coming into this store for quite a bit.. I would guesstimate that I've been in there 20+ times. Never have I had anyone "ring" me up. I have always checked myself out. Yesterday I went in to purchase several things and as I approached the register I was almost attacked by a young man stating "you can't do that, I have to ring you up".. I said since when?... He stated it's been a policy since last August. I stated Ive been in at least 6 times in the last month and a half, and no one has ever lifted a finger to ring me up. I purchased about 20+ small items and the cashier asked if I wanted to buy a bag, I said sure.. "Oh, we are out of bags". As he leaves the 20+ items on the counter and snatches away the basket, and then walks away. I had to pull my T-shirt out and use it as a bag to get my stuff to the car. I then spoke to the store manager who stated "it is a policy"... I informed her that the very last time I was in there, the young cashier was doing her nails at the front, and then got on her phone while I rang up myself.. never saying a word to me or anyone else in the store. Apparently the store manager can not get compliance from her Asst. manager, employees or her DM. (Victoria) Who stated that the bag issue.."Well, were in California" (Didn't understand that explanation) and then when it came to employees not doing their jobs, and ignoring policies she again stated.. "Well this is California, and there is a lot to do when someone doesn't do their job" I advised her that the buck should stop with the store manager but her DM isn't supporting her, and that something needs to change... Her reply was "I don't need advice from you on how to do my job." I stated you need advice, and training from someone, cuz you aint cutting it. HORRIBLE EXPERIANCE read more
