Had a not so quick shopping trip to Target today. I always end up spending hours there and can…read morenever leave with only one thing! They had a great selection of flowers for Mother's Day tomorrow. I ended up picking up a beautiful bouquet for my Grandma. This location also has a great Starbucks. We always stop in and grab a drink for our shopping trip. The service is great and the workers are very kind!

Be careful when ordering at Kohls.com. They advertise that you get free shipping on orders $49.00…read moreand over. Only thing is that if you use any coupon codes and the order drops below they hit you with the $8.95 shipping cost. Very deceptive. I wont be using Kohls.com in the future.

You walk in and what you need you will find in some area of the store. I was here over the weekend and popped in after getting my nails done next-door. I went in with one goal, and one goal only . Get an ugly sweater for our upcoming party. Not only did they have a plethora of sweaters, they came to play with a whole bunch of assorted holiday apparel. And was it expensive? No, not at all. There was a sale on the holiday apparel, as well as an extra 25% off if your rewards member. Pro tip: you do not have to be a credit card holder to be a rewards member. Now all you have to do is put your phone number in after you quickly register for free and you get the perks. Gone on the days when we used to have a store credit card for these things. Also, I felt like such an old lady at the checkout. Now, this location has self service checkout kiosks. And even though I thought I was smart enough to use one I kept on beeping because the security tag was still on my ugly sweater. Staff came over to help and they did not make me feel dumb about it at all. They also explained to me how to properly use the kiosk as I was completely doing it wrong. And for the holiday season, it wasn't too packed. The stores kept nice. There was so much stuff that I really kinda wanted to go back and shop for myself . Because the it's the holiday season and it's about giving and that's what I'll be doing for the next couple weeks. : P

Zero signage for the auto related item I was looking for. Pricing 40% more than everyone else . Would have gotten but the exact item as shown inline was nowhere on the section of shelves. Product s Target is good for is more clothing, food to some extent, and misc home goods. It would have been nice if either of the two employees would have done more than point 20 aisles over and mumble. Neither time found. Also no sign for auto. Finally left - went instead to BJs and within minutes the nicest man stopped took time and explained exactly where I needed to find the item. Good selection. Top brand. Discounted price. So glad to be in a better staffed, more helpful store. Target seems to fill a niche for easy going shoppers that seemed happy. Not for me though.

The customer service for drive up tends to be top tier and relatively quick. I wish they were stocked more appropriately so I wouldn't have to go to further locations for the items I need.

After grabbing two board books that Bubs picked out from the selection of very $10 board books display and the rest of my items, we checked out. The woman who checked us out gave Bubs stickers as we were leaving. She was super sweet. Target is Target. This location, is larger than most of use to just because the amount of space allotted to them. I did note that the staff here was lovely and apt the helping out when needed. P.S. As a customer who is spending money especially during the current economy you would like to feel at ease with a purchase and if need be non complicated returns. The personnel at the customer service desk in Walmart Middle Island could use extensive training on how to be professional and treat customers with respect and dignity. Not only are the people who shop there the reason as to why this location remains open but the likelihood of me returning to this location are little to none. Customer care goes a long way in every aspect of business. As a long term shopper in the Walmart stores nationwide I would like to think this corporation takes customer care to another level due to the overall success in the Walmart chain.
