I started off at $200 estimate for stabilizer bar installation in my daughter's new jeep. I was called once they had the jeep and told that the estimated price no longer applied because it was a stabilizer bar 'kit', which was the exact same product and installation procedure in the exact same model jeep (different year) that they had performed on my daughter's prior jeep. Price increased to $800, permitted with their stated expectation that all issues noted would be likely be repaired. I picked up the jeep, paid the $800 expecting digital display to have been repaired, as my DIY research indicated the problem is often a loose connection. I called immediately after driving out and was told that only a broken wire was repaired and that the digital display, an initially stated major issue for my daughter, was not even diagnosed let alone repaired. I was told an additional $175 is required for further diagnose. I sent 2 subsequent emails explaining my displeasure and seeking help on it. I ultimately went ahead with DIY, took the dash a part, diagnosed the problem as the entire solid state instrument cluster, put it back together for driving, ordered a used one, removed and reinstalled dash to replace instrument cluster. There's always a lady from an unnamed company, expecting me to be there and observing. Never mentioned, though observed at least 4 times. I am not that interesting. Drove an 40 minutes away to pick up four tires. Waited an hour for a guy named Jeffery Sellers, to open the gate in the back of the shop. Handed him 100 dollars for four tires. Went to a mechanic they informed us all four tires had nails all over them. We messaged Jeffery asking for a refund. He then replied, " Hell no with yo cheap as bye don't tex or call my phone." I found McCullough on the internet and being unfamiliar with auto repair shops in the area, I took a chance based upon the reviews I read. My car had an undiagnosed issue with the engine. Eric listened to me but did not leap to any judgment. We had the car towed there and his team ran diagnostics on the car. It was determined the motor was blown and the repair/replacement was beyond what we budgeted. Not the outcome we wanted. What I did appreciate was the thoroughness, patience, and professionalism. My observation about the shop (albeit from a distance) was that the employees worked as a team which allowed them to get to as many cars as possible. He told me he will order the part and my car should be ready latest by Monday (July 5th). I waited until 2PM and called back the garage to see the status of the car and I was told he haven't started to work on it and gave me another false promise it will be ready by Wednesday (July 7th) . Called back on Wednesday my car wasn't ready at all and was given another promise for the next day. I waited and there was no call and finally I received a phone call from Eric on Friday and said my car will be ready for pick up in afternoon but he notice one of my bulbs was out and he said it will cost me $45 to fix it. Against my judgment I moved forward with the repair. Because At this point I have been with no car for 2 weeks(15 Days). Around 3:30 went to pick up my car and I was in rush to go back to work and I haven't noticed that NOT ONLY HE DID NOT FIX THE BULBS I HAVE PAID EXTRA FOR BUT ALSO MESS MY RADIO UP. I took my 2016 Dodge RAM pickup truck to this business in Dec/2021 to find and fix an oil leak. i paid $1050 to this business for work they recommended and took truck home. My truck is STILL leaking oil. When i called back i was told about how difficult an oil leak can be to trace blah blah blah. They had one job to do: find the oil leak and make repairs to stop it. Horrible Experience! On Friday, February 5th, 2021, I took my car to McCullough for standard service (oil change, spark plug replacement) . I had absolutely no issues with my car prior to taking it for service. My car was returned to me on the same day and I drove it home without issue. I did not drive my car again until the following Friday. After driving a few miles, the coolant warning light came on with a message advising me to switch off engine and check coolant. I was surprised since all fluids should have been checked during my service appointment last week. I called McCullough to advise of the warning and Eric (owner) advised me not to drive my vehicle but to have it towed back to the repair shop to avoid any damage. My car was towed immediately following our conversation. I did not hear from anyone confirming my car's arrival so I called to make sure my it had arrived safely. I was told by the receptionist that Eric was busy but my car had arrived safely. The next day, Saturday, Eric called to inform me they had not had a chance to look at my car but they would work on it first thing Monday. I received a call on Monday afternoon from Eric stating they were busy and had not had a chance to look at my car but would look at it on Tuesday. On Tuesday, Eric called to say the coolant clamp was broken causing the coolant to leak from my vehicle and would need to be replaced. This would cost me an additional $168. I asked Eric why this issue wasn't addressed during my service and he said it wasn't an issue at service and must've happened after I picked up my car. I find this very hard to believe since the issue surfaced after my first time driving the car after having it serviced with with McCullough. Against my better judgement, I moved forward with the repair. At this point I had been without my car for five days and I had been paying way too much for Uber. I explained the financial impact of not having my car and informed Eric I really needed to get my car back. On Tuesday evening at 4:40p, Eric called to say my car was ready but they would be closing at 5p. He said he could wait until 5:15p but not any longer. At this point, I'm more than frustrated since there is no way I would be able to make it to Sandy Springs during Atlanta's rush hour. I told Eric I would come pick up my car first thing in the morning. The next morning Eric called me before 8a to let me know he started my car and it was "slow to turn". He said it was likely due to the freezing temps overnight and he would charge my battery for a few hours. At 11:30a, as I was leaving to pick up my car, I received a call from Eric stating my car had been charging for a few hours and it was still slow to turn over likely in need of a new battery. At this point, I was over it! My car was now worse off than before. I was out of much more money than I anticipated from what should have been a simple service (coolant clamp, Uber and now a battery). I declined the battery as I am certain I was taken advantage of by this repair shop. I shared my dissatisfaction with Eric and he proceeded to speak over me and take zero responsibility for this experience. I'm certain he will, as he has with other reviewers, defend this post instead of listen to the customers experience and find ways to improve. I will not return to this establishment and I do not recommend it to others. Update: My battery is perfectly fine and I did not need to replace it! read more

Not cheap, but they do great work. When my car's transmission was acting up, they could have told me that I needed the entire transmission replaced. Instead they discovered it was leaking and replaced the gaskets. They also performed a couple other maintenance jobs. My Ford is running well, and should make it to 200,000 miles. read more

I first have to say I do not usually write reviews. I usually try to give businesses that do what is expected the benefit of the doubt. The main reason I am write this review is because I would not like another customer to have the same experience I have had. So I went to this location to fix a steering wheel issue. I spoke to Eric and I told him that if their shop could find the issue. I dropped off my car on 6/26/17 around 3:30-4:00pm. He stated they would take a look at it latest tomorrow (6/27/17). 6/27/17 he tells me they did not get a chance to look at my car. 6/28/17 they tell me my car is fine there is nothing wrong with it, this is toward their closing time. I am a working class individual so I told them I was unable to get my car due to work. So they told me I could pick it up tomorrow. 6/29/17 Eric states there is some bumping coming from my steering after the technician pulls it out of the parking space. So I ask if they could investigate it since that was the main reason I bought my car to them in the first place. They tell me it is a steering column issue, I get a quote, and ask them to fix it. I get a call on 6/30/17 that they did not get a chance to fix it yet. Saturday 7/1/17 comes along no call, as I stated I work long hours so I do not think about this. The shop is closed Sunday 7/2/17. Monday 7/3/17 9am comes along no call no message. It has been 5-6 days business days. Eric did call me but by that time I was already extremely frustrated with their service. I was already at their shop demanding my vehicle back. I did some research and I did not believe that this repair would take this time frame. Also I was never given a timeline in when the repairs would be done. As a working individual your transportation is a valuable commodity. Eric was apologetic after I was already at the shop. He even had the audacity to say that they were busy July 4th weekend. That makes sense but I had dropped off my car on the 6/26/17 Monday. He offered the excuse that the people at their shop did not call me on Saturday 7/1/17. He was quick to ask for payment though. He offered a free oil change as a form of compensation. In my experience, I will NOT ever take my vehicle or recommend this establishment to the people I know for the unprofessional service in the front of the shop. As for the repairs, I can not comment on the service because I have only driven the vehicle for a short period of time. I believe the technicians have done their job. read more

Well let me explain more. I got tires from them on a Thursday and got a flat on that Saturday. They only have a warranty on tires provided by the tire company. Not by them. Complete criminals. I had been ripped off by these guys years ago and was in a bind and had to use them again for what I thought was hole in my exhaust. Unfortunately it was a problem with the converter. They called and gave me two options. Since I was going to sell the car shortly, I went with the cheaper option and they told me it would take 3 days to fix. 9 days later and they call to tell me that the cheaper option wont work and that I have to go with the more expensive one and it will take more time (when renting a car at $100/ day that starts building up). I cant stress this enough. These guys are criminals and they should be investigated for their shady practices. I can not recommend them based on a bad experience that cost me $2,000. Based on all the good reviews I took a used car I was considering purchasing to them for a pre purchase inspection. They told me the car was in perfect order and it was very clean. I then asked about the air bag light that was on. They looked at it and told me it was defective but was covered under a Nissan recall and to contact Nissan for the repair. I purchased the car based on their evaluation. When I took the car to Nissan I was told that my VIN number was not under covered by the recall and cost to repair would be $2000. After several calls back to McCullough they insisted it should be covered and offered to look into it. Once they looked at it closer found out it wasn't covered. I told them I wasn't happy about their mistake and their response was that I should have talked to Nissan. In hind site I should have, but I did hire them to tell me what was wrong and they gave me bad information. Mistakes happen but turning around and telling me it was my fault is not good business. Bottom line is they told me I shouldn't have trusted what they told me so I can't do business with them again. read more

Very Shady business practice. Watch out!!They will steal your money. Not only do they charge more than other repair shops- which you can just call a few to get an estimate and see how much higher they charge but that's not the whole story, once they quote you a price it will climb up by 30-40% by the time you get ready to pay. As it happened to me, Eric the owner told me he guarantees that a certain repair won't be higher than a amount he quoted then when I was ready to pick up the car he said oh there was a computer error and now the price climbed another $90!!
