We arrived early at the restaurant at 11:45 a.m. due to the busy Mother's Day holiday. We were told to wait in the seating area or at the bar until our 12:15 p.m. reservation. At 12:25 p.m., the hostess informed us they were catching up on tables but that we would be seated soon. At 12:30 p.m., we were finally seated. Our waitress did not greet us warmly, make eye contact, introduce herself, or provide any information about the restaurant or menu. At 12:45 p.m., we ordered our food and drinks, and at 12:50 p.m., our drinks arrived. Around 1:30 p.m., we realized our food still had not come out, while other tables being served by our waitress were receiving prompt and friendly service. Our waitress passed our table four times without stopping to provide an update on our food or apologize for the extensive wait time. We were finally able to get her attention and politely asked about the status of our order. Without an apology or acknowledgment of our experience, she responded that she would tell the chefs to "rush" our order. We never asked for our food to be rushed -- we simply wanted an update because we had already been waiting far longer than expected. When our food was eventually brought out by another staff member, it was cold after nearly two hours of waiting. At that point, my husband asked to speak with the manager because not only was the wait time unacceptable, but the food was also cold. The manager eventually came to our table, apologized for the delay, and offered to discount the meal. My husband thanked him for the apology, but by that point, we decided the experience was not worth salvaging. We told the manager we did not want the cold food or watered-down drinks. Not only was our Mother's Day celebration ruined, but the lack of accountability from the staff and the poor customer service made the entire experience extremely disappointing. I've been here several times for work events that I've hosted for my company. They have a large room that will hold at least 20 people. The service we had tonight is the best I've experienced so far. Will is amazing. Very attentive, polite, genuine and worked with urgency. The food for me is about a 3.5 stars but the service from Will was 5 stars. This was our second visit. The first was shortly after opening and I was expecting that they'd continued to improve. It was good then, so I had high expectations. They were not met. We parked on Washington Ave, because there was handicapped parking by the door. As it turned out, that door was only accessible by hotel keycard. I tried the intercom but there was no answer. Why is your ONLY handicapped parking outside a locked door?? The other, open door is a walk to the opposite side of the city block - does that make any sense?? We arrived about 5 minutes before our OpenTable reservation. I only note that because the restaurant reported me as a no-show to OpenTable. I had to send a correction to them. So again, not good. The waitstaff was gracious, prompt, friendly, and helpful. That's good for the restaurant, because they were the saving grace that has this as high as 3 stars. The cocktail menu was underwhelming, as was the beer selection. I did find one I hadn't tried, and it was properly served and the correct temperature. The food menu is varied and interesting, but the execution was middling. The bread brought out to the table was an excellent, yeasty mini-loaf. We had an excellent whipped goat cheese dip for an appetizer. It specified local, so we asked which local farm. We were told a seller in Richmond - not local to the Fredericksburg area, but over an hour away. The elk loin was excellent and perfectly prepared, as was the mushroom side. The baby back ribs were well cooked, but heavily caked with a thick sauce that overwhelmed the flavor and made it hard to eat, and accompanied by cole slaw swimming in mayo. The fries were tasty at first, but became unpleasant as they cooled. We decided to try dessert, and the Basque cheesecake was enjoyable. The flourless chocolate torte was less like a cake than a very dry, hard chocolate bar, so it really wasn't very good. It is a relaxing and pleasant place to sit, and some of the food was good, but the detraction from the experience made it extremely unlikely that we will return. read more

There was one issue with our order but they graciously and quickly corrected it and also provided a free appetizer which very much compensated for the mistake and they were very apologetic, which goes a long way. They also gave a free dessert for my friend's birthday and the chocolate cake was SO delicious. Caesar salad was the star of the dinner to my surprise. Drinks amazing. Just a bit late posting this review but I wanted to be sure to memorialize an up and coming restaurant that will hopefully one day be a gem in the Fredericksburg area. Our dining experience was definitely enhanced by the restaurant atmosphere and the attentiveness of the service we received. To be honest, the only reason I selected this restaurant were the phenomenal photos of the chargrilled oysters I saw on Yelp but found that is not a regular menu item and we were super disappointed! No one was in the restaurant and we were walked all the way to the back of restaurant. My father and myself have arthritis in our feet, so that was a chore. Met several family members and friends here in late April. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Our server was on top of things and was pleasant. The food ranged from excellent (appetizers, rib eye, ribs, short rib) to slightly disappointing (mushroom pasta). The flavor and texture of the pasta was perfect, but the portion size left 3 of us, including me, a bit gobsmacked. When I asked the server why the portion size was so small (not a good value for the price), she said the food is pre measured and then offered me an opportunity to purchase protein. I passed. Given the low cost of pasta in the grocery store, the 3 of us were quite surprised as were the other guests. Drinks were pretty good. Only one complaint about the soft, possibly stale, martini olives. Ambiance was quite nice, a benefit of being inside a newer hotel. I came out tonight for dinner at the chophouse. My friend just got a huge promotion, so we wanted to celebrate! We started with the shrimp mocktail on ice with seaweed salad, remoulade and cocktail sauce. The shrimp were enormous, I would definitely refer to them as prawns. They were out of the cocktail my friend ordered, but offered to make some other virgin drink they assured would be delicious. I like having the option of still, sparkling or house water. My friend ordered the 6oz filet with mashed potatoes and broccoli nice with the crab bernaise sauce. I got the short rib and grits. If you read my reviews, you know i order short ribs when I see them on a menu! As a person who rarely eats beef and/or steak it was fun to see they brought out an assortment of knives for one to choose their weapon for their entree! She even let me pick one out tho it was unnecessary, as my short rib was tender af, just fell right off the bone! The chocolate tower for dessert was so good, but not too rich. Very light! I opted for the pineapple sorbet with coconut foam and it was incredible! I must learn to make this at home, myself! Tonight was terrible for my diet, but it's always good to have a reason to celebrate and for the celebrating to go without a hitch! Five star experience tonight! read more

Five Chophouse has a beautiful dining area with an option to sit in the covered patio outside. I brought my dad here for brunch on Father's Day. I enjoyed the selection of options they had for brunch, ranging from French toast to omelets. I ordered the steak sandwich while my dad ordered the omelet. I personally love steak sandwiches and have ordered them very frequently from various restaurants. The one I ate here was quite underwhelming. The shaved steak seemed a bit over cooked and the sandwich overall was not that flavorful. However, the breakfast potatoes did taste good. My dad's omelette was also nothing special. Overall, we felt like this meal seemed like a typical hotel breakfast. We will be returning to try their dinner options! read more

My husband was going to surprise me to a restaurant in DC for my birthday but I convinced him to try somewhere more local instead. When I sent him their menu and yelp page, his initial response was, "You want to go here?!?!?!" like it wasn't high end enough... Well load and behold folks, this place took my husband's breath away. Since my birthday in January, he has brought up going here nearly every other week. It was restaurant week when we went the first time. Service was great. Food was superb. We both got their porterhouse. I had the dalmation seasoning and he had the chimichurri. Both were delicious. We also got their shrimp cocktail and a side of their crab mac n cheese. SO DEVINE. Absolutely thought it was delicious and well worth the restaurant week price. We went back again but didn't get reservations so we sat at the bar. Our bartender was lovely. I paid attention to her service, team effort, and attention to detail. Thought she did a great job and even gave me some extra sauce for my left overs to take home. We also enjoyed their cocktails this time around. I am giving a 4 star because as much as I enjoy coming here, our steaks were well seasoned but not cooked to what we ordered. I didn't care enough to ask for it to be redone because they were so well seasoned... so maybe next time, it'll be cooked right! read more

Had a lovely dinner at Five Chophouse (just opened last week) where the service was stellar! It's located inside the new Publisher hotel walking distance from downtown Fredericksburg. It's a beautiful space, with a nice balance of modern and rustic charm. There is valet parking for your convenience. The side salad was deconstructed, but light and tasty. The Bordeaux was fantastic. My petite filet was very good and cooked perfectly (I recommend the espresso rub). The mashed potatoes were very flavorful. The s'mores dessert wasn't great, but everything else was fantastic. I'm planning to return to the hotel and the restaurant anytime I'm in Fredericksburg. read more

***Check the other 01-star comments too. For 2026, it seems there is a consistent lack of hospitality problem with the staff. For their price point, this restaurant should NOT have any excuses. Definitely consider somewhere else until this aspect gets fixed.*** I decided to visit this restaurant a few times during my stay at The Publisher (the hotel adjacent/affiliated with the establishment). As my hotel stay was nice and accommodating, I expected the restaurant to be run at the same standards. To start, I will gladly say that most of the food is good. A bit pricey, but the dishes are well-composed. I recommend the pork belly appetizer; conversely, the burger was not good. I would like to write more about the food in detail, but in order to explain the 01-star rating, I need to dedicate the rest of the post by briefly writing about the poor service. Unfortunately, each of the few times I went to the bar over the course of my stay (06 days), the respective bartender was not particularly hospitable (different staff each time). Minimal service, but no sense of hospitality was conveyed by any of the members I met. Each encounter felt cold. Thankfully not hostile, but I would have preferred to at least be checked on with some semblance of politeness. On my last day after checking out, I decided to go get a table for one (in order to avoid feeling ignored at the bar. Afterall, the waitstaff is probably better...right?). I went to the restaurant precisely at open-for-dinner (4pm). After being ushered to my table, I sit down, plan my meal, and wait. Looking around the room, I am the only customer in the dining space. After 05 minutes, a waiter walks by and finally brings water. I say hello and he proceeds to slowly pour my glass of water. ...he says nothing as he pours. The sound of the water filling my glass adds to the awkwardness of the situation. No apologies for the delay in service, no proper introduction, just a slow pour and prompt getaway to put the jug back at the counter. After returning the jug, he proceeds to walk by, intending to pass my table and head towards the back. Luckily (having had experience with the bartending staff's cold behavior), I reflexively rose my hand to catch his attention and quickly mentioned to him, "I am ready to order." He pauses, stands, turns slightly towards me, and, having registered my words, responds, "okay". ...so you would think he would ask me what my order was, right? Haha, no. He then proceeds to continue pacing towards the back. Maybe he needed to get a pen and pad? Nope. I waited 10 minutes for any signs of life in the hall. Remember, I am literally the only customer in the space. I get up and walk to the bar and ask a bartender to take my order. Fortunately, I can confirm that it went through to the kitchen. I return to my table and proceed to process my experience. After an additional 05 minutes, the waiter returns and the rest of the evening plays out (suprisingly) normally. I received my table bread, then finally, after a 07-minute wait, the food, drink, etc. The waiter never acknowledged the wasted 05 + 10 minutes of my time. It was only through the bartender that I heard that there was a staff meeting (but that only counts for the latter 10 minutes). So I can forgive him for that as it was out of his control. What I can't ignore is the experience of some of the poorest service I have ever received, which, despite there being a valid excuse, was not addressed at all. Ultimately, there seems to be a lack of proper hospitality-related training in this establishment. While the food is good, I want to caution any potential customers that the front-of-house experience is very poor as of now (2026-02). read more

An attempt at a high end steak house that fails to meet quality standards at their price point. Save yourself the time and money, go to Fahrenheit. It's another Fredericksburg restaurant with an identity crisis. Stuck somewhere in the void of wanting to be fine dining but still accommodating to the tourists and visitors they end up meeting the needs of none. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the bar is accommodating and has cocktail options (somewhat over priced). As a chophouse goes the wine list is extremely limited (especially when compared to its local comparisons) having only like 9-10 options. No dress code enforced, removes any sense of this being anything more than just another hotel restaurant. The wait staff is scattered, poorly led, and seemingly half trained, demonstrating the occasional etiquette of a mid to high end restaurant but it not being complete in its execution. The food was executed somewhere in between Outback and Ruth's Chris not hitting the mark at the top end though on the steaks. Limited cut choices for calling themselves a "chop house" reduces choices. Sides were well made and tasty, meat entrees were unevenly cooked, and poorly seasoned. The food did not meet the price point anyway. This restaurant needs to make a choice, either fully commit to the price point your at and raise the level of service, experience, and quality of product or reduce the cost and be an outback at the bottom of a hotel. Either is fine, but what's happening here now isn't. read more

If I could give zero I would. We came here last week with a party of 9 to celebrate a friend's birthday, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. We spent close to $700 and left feeling completely let down. From the start, service was lacking. We sat at a table by the bar for over 10 minutes with no one acknowledging us. I eventually went up to the bar to ask for menus and was handed one without a word. Another 5 minutes passed with no service before we were moved to our reserved table. Once seated, things didn't improve. We waited an hour for our food, only for everything to arrive cold or undercooked. Every dish had issues: * Porterhouse steak - Mostly fat and gristle, barely edible. * Two salmon plates - Cold inside and not properly cooked. * Vegetable sides - Swimming in oil yet raw in the middle. * Three burgers - Completely bland patties, with fries that were undercooked and cold. * Hanger steak - Raw and beet red in the center, not served at the ordered temperature. The only thing warmer than the food were the plates themselves. When I mentioned this to our server, she offered to reheat items, but after waiting an hour already, we declined. At that point, it was too late for the meal to be salvaged. For the price, the quality and service fell far below expectations. What should have been a special night for our friend's birthday turned into a frustrating experience. Unfortunately this restaurant was more ambiance than quality food when I visited. Service was a bit slow, taking 45 minutes to bring out 3 entrees and priced high for the portion size. We tried 2 steaks and the roasted chicken. The roasted chicken was rather plain but the steak was cooked properly and the highlight of the meal. We tried the lobster mac n cheese, but that had hardly any lobster in it. It was nice to try once, but I wouldn't choose to go here again with so many better options in the area. read more

Our waiter was Jo Jo and she was amazing! Personable and attentive but also goes the extra mile. She didn't think I noticed her working behind the scenes to take care of us. As for the food, my was pretty good but not so much my wife's but when mentioned to the manager she was quick on it and wanted to fix it with another offering but wife declined and was pleasantly surprised by her taking it off the bill. From the first pour to the final course, the A. Smith Bowman Dinner Experience was truly exceptional. Every course was thoughtfully composed, with unexpected ingredients that were perfectly suited to each dish and elevated the entire evening into more of an adventure than just a meal. The pairings were intelligent and intentional. Each bourbon enhanced the flavors on the plate without overpowering them, and each course revealed new dimensions with every sip. It was clear that nothing about this menu was accidental. The creativity, precision, and care behind every detail were evident throughout the night. The service deserves special recognition. The servers were attentive without ever being intrusive, almost stealthily slipping in and out to ensure every need was met at exactly the right moment. Their timing and professionalism made the entire experience feel seamless and refined. A highlight of the evening was the storytelling from A. Smith Bowman's distiller, whose mix of wisdom and humor added a memorable layer to the night. We are quite certain we will never look at a wine barrel bung hole again without thinking we should probably sniff it first to see if it is good. We had a phenomenal experience. Our waitress was attentive from the start but not overbearing. Everything we ordered was SO GOOD. We ordered whipped feta (everyone should get it) and a brioche roll to start. Then my husband had steak with mushrooms and brussel sprouts- everything was cooked to perfection. I would have ordered 3 sides of brussel sprouts if I wasn't saving room for dessert. I had the scallop risotto- which I was already halfway through before getting a picture because it was that good. Lastly, we had the mango tiramisu which I would almost make a trip back just for that. It was everything you want in a dessert- light but flavorful- and also just beautiful. Only the sorbet was gf for dessert. The experience is lovely and personal for celebratory occasions, or just a lovely meal. The seating area is painted dark with gold chandeliers, brick on some accent walls, and bright spotlights shining at each table for those dining. It gives a cozy feel to your experience. The service is fast, personal, and positive. We enjoyed the friendly wait staff and they made sure we were well taken care of and brought bread out shortly after being sat down. I'm saddened so many had poor impressions of this place, and strongly feel they should give it a second chance. Overall, we very much so enjoyed our experience and plan on being back very soon. The food was as expected for a restaurant of this quality, and I felt there were cute differences from other notable restaurants in the area that helped this location stand out a bit. I ordered a Cesar salad and noticed it had crushed crotons instead of full ones - turned out to be more flavorful in its own regards with a dressing I've not tasted before. They used a miso infused dressing, adding to the subtle difference in a regular Caesar salad. My husband and myself ordered the ribeye, trying out different rubs. I went sweet and spicy, which was fabulously delicious with my Zinfandel. My husband got the chimmichuri, not my taste but delightful in its own regards. Both steaks were perfectly cooked to medium rare. The brussel sprouts and broccoli were wonderful sides and also as expected. The baked potato my husband got was also delicious, cut into thin slices and drowned in a delicious cheese sauce. For dessert I had the crème brûlée caramel cheesecake, and will continue to enjoy that in future visits. My husband got the zen garden, a light chocolate cake-mousse concoction, which was more decoration than flavor - but boy did it impress! This restaurant is very elegant. The waitress was new but could not have been sweeter and more helpful. The food was good, but not great. We had an expensive prix fixe dinner for the holiday. The braised short ribs were dry and a little tough, but flavorful. Almost all of the sides were excellent except for the Mac N' Cheese which was also dry. The onion strips were the best any of us ever had. The pies were good but would have been better warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. My wife and I went to Chophouse for a Fathers Day dinner. We were sat quickly and the table was nice. The first thing we noticed was, though, was how hot it was. We mentioned this to the server and it briefly seemed that they turned the AC up. Unfortunately it was momentary and it got hot again. We decided to have a couple of drinks and an appetizer before ordering a main course. The drinks were delicious but took quite some time to get them. The appetizer was also delicious. We went for our 2 year wedding anniversary. When we showed up we went to the hostess who barely said a word. The restaurant was empty and as we were walking to the table we noticed at least 5 staff members just standing around bullshitting with each other. I asked if we can be moved to another table and all she did was point to the table next to us. Once the server came out he was very brief had to ask about the menu and any specials. Once he left to go put in our drink and appetizer order, another couple was seated right next to us in an empty restaurant(this makes no sense). Their server was talking extremely loud to the point I couldn't even hear my wife speak to me, but at least he went over the menus and explained things to them. At this point I was extremely mad and then got on the phone to call another restaurant that we have been to and love. They were able to get us seated so we told the server we had to leave due to an emergency, got the check and left. I had high hopes for this place but I can say that I will 100% never return. read more

While the place is beautiful, the tables for 2 were gigantic but I was sitting closer to the person at the next table than I was to my wife. We could not hold conversation without entertaining our neighbors. We ordered soda so there was obviously no reason to leave the humongous cocktail menu but the waitress left it there taking up serious real estate on the table. She had a hard time finding room for the plate of bread which turned out to be the worst bread I've ever had. I ordered a demiglace to go with my flavor free elk loins. After we both struggled with cutting our meat with butter knives the waitress realized she had not provided steak knives and my demiglace was missing. She offered the steak knives but I had one bite left and when she brought the demiglace I realized it was the same flavor as the truth serum I had for my Navy Shellback initiation in 1990.....HORRIBLE. read more

NEVER AGAIN!! ** I would like to preface this review by saying, I am not usually one to complain. I am very understanding, when an explanation for short comings is offered and a sincere apology/attempt to make things right is made. I do believe in getting what Im paying for and when prices are at such caliber.. The meal and service should more than match.. There should be standards for service, quality control, and approval before meals are sent out** A set "New Years Eve" menu (limited options to choose from to help the cooks/staff with the flow of patrons on a holiday) .. With each plate costing $125.00.. One would assume, at that price ((with a set menu)) the food and service would be impecable.. Our Resevations were made for a party of 6.. with added "services charges" and acoholic beverages ,, this establishment easily made over $1000.00 off of our table alone.. 5 of the 6 meals served to our table were undesireable by way of over cooked filet's and undercooked lobster tails,, One plate was severed so cold that it was not consumed (I personally may have eaten 1/4 of my meal). On 2 seperate occasions, After waiting an extensive period time, a member from our party had to leave the table and find the wait staff in efforts to get the drinks that were ordered.. The lack of "care" and compassion offered by the manager was disappointing. The only attempt to "make it right" by the manager was an offer to reheat the already overcooked Filet. Dined here last night for the New Years Eve dinner. Service and food was horrible. Had to run down the waiter for drinks twice. Food was delivered cold and lacking flavor. Sent the steak back and it was brought out again luke warm. Ended up not eating and sent everything back. More like NOT House than Chop House. Made reservations at this restaurant and right off the bat they want a credit card on file in case you cancel. Made the dinner reservation at 6pm and was seated right away. Food was good not great for the price. Wife got Angus filet with macaroni and I ordered the Elk filet with mashed potatoes and what they call woodland mushrooms. Both meals were around 50 dollars. Both of our entrees came out hot and ready to eat steak cooked perfect for both of us. Mushrooms were when I looked them up were to be like Morrel style but came out like regular capped mushrooms out of a can at Giant Food. Nothing great or different there. All in all not worth a second trip to this place service was good but when asked about the mushrooms I was told menu must of had a miss print. Also bill was incorrect was overcharge for the wine my wife had by 2 dollars not a big deal but for this class of restaurant would except better and more professional. (More deserving of 3.5 stars) After learning about this new steakhouse (inside of a new Marriott property) in downtown Fredericksburg, I followed them on social media for a while, as it seemed the initial reviews I read weren't very good and it appeared they just needed time to settle in and have management get everyone up to speed. I finally went recently and we took friends of ours with us. Getting there, we were happy they offered complimentary valet parking because parking in downtown can be tough at times. Once inside, the décor and venue looks pretty nice, sort of rustic mixed with craftsman with a mix of dark woods, brick and metal. Our server promptly greeted us and took drinks orders. They do have a decent wine list, which also has cocktails and beer. They offer plenty of interesting appetizers to start their menu. We opted for their crabcake. It's $18 for a single crabcake which was loaded with a corn relish. The relish was great! The crab cake was lacking substantial meat and was completely fallen apart when we got it, but the flavors were decent when combined with the relish. Later, we also tried their shrimp cocktail too, which was beautifully presented, but unfortunately the first piece selected was slightly undercooked. Next up was salad - they offered a Ceasar salad for a side/started salad (this is a chophouse, they need to offer a chophouse or vinaigrette-based greens salad as a starter too). The presentation was nice and the flavors were good. Loved how they chopped the croutons rather than serving them whole. The very lightly applied dressing was decent too; I could tell it was made in-house. Entrées - A few of us got their filet and one got the pork chop. The three filets came out all at once, unfortunately the pork chop didn't. But the manager did come out to explain that there was an issue in preparing it and they were making a new one - This was very much appreciated that they explained this! They also brought out the shrimp cocktail for the person who ordered the pork chop to enjoy until her entrée came out. (Unfortunately, the shrimp cocktail wasn't very edible as it was undercooked - something we've never seen, but these were beautiful, thick, meaty shrimp and they probably needed one more minute of steam to finish them). As for the filets - they were incredible! It was easily one of the best filets I've ever had! But the sides were very lack luster. We all took notice that they had hassleback potato as a side option, so a couple of us got them... only to be disappointed by a deep fried (clearly to finish it) potato that was cut hassleback style, thus the ends and portions of outside were hard and crispy throughout - They're supposed to be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cheese sauce on the top wasn't flavorful and resembled a basic, unflavored melted cheese sauce. The other side I tried, the brussel sprouts with bacon and jalapeño were bland and greasy. Definitely no resemblance of jalapeño and no smokiness/flavor from the bacon. Last course was dessert - we ordered a couple of items and they were decent. Nothing to write home about, but solid and interesting. Overall, for the price we all felt it wasn't worth it... especially with Fahrenheit 132 a few blocks away and that's one of the best steakhouses - anywhere (for price, quality, and what you get). This restaurant did include sides, versus being a la carte, which was nice, but they really need to work on service, (pace was on the fast side), quality of sides (chophouses should offer sides that are just as incredible as the entrée), and price. We all agreed that the manager was great and was helpful... Our server on the other hand needed a lot more training. He offered a wine chiller, but never brought it. He forgot a couple of other items. He wasn't engaging, thought he was friendly, but it was all about business and getting the orders, bringing food and not much more in between. Went here for a "date night ". Didn't really need a reservation even on a Saturday night. Ordered a half bottle of white wine and a lager. Started off with the Shrimp Cocktail and Whipped Feta...both delicious! Bread and butter brought to the table was warm and yummy. I had the Shrimp and grits!!! Best I've ever had!! Hubby had filet mignon and broccolini. Everything was perfectly prepared and the service was on point but for the money, stick with Fahrenheit. read more

Atmosphere is nice! There's a lot of potential and with proper training in customer service and how to cook a steak properly and with the proper response to a not so great experience. Service was not up to a $60 steak house is and my steak was taken back to being overcooked. Server brought the sides back out after 10 minutes without the steak in attempt to tide me over. Two other tables were sat and served all while I waited and my wife and two friends that were with us ate their meals. When my wife and our friends were done the waitress came out with the steak. I told her no thanks and then she offered if I would like to have it boxed to go??? Manager came by and wanted to know what she could do with no plan or course of action. The entree portions were very small and underwhelming. The Caesar salad served with the 12 oz filet was bitter and weird. The salmon entree tasted good but was slightly undercooked and needed to be served with rice or some other starch. Just serving a tiny piece of fish with hollowed out zucchini is not filling. We had an appetizer, two entrees, and dessert. I'm getting food at another restaurant because I'm starving. read more
