You can never go wrong at Five Guys! BP and I met his family there for a dinner and a percentage of the proceeds were going to Walter Johnson High School that night. I was so excited to see that Five Guys now serves shakes and man, they are awesome! I really liked how all of the mixins for the shake came at no additional charge (well, I think adding bacon would have had a charge, but I didn't see it posted). I went wild! I got chocolate, both Oreo cream and cookie wafer, and coffee! I loved how much it taste of coffee and the little bits of cookie and cream still in the shake. We ordered our burgers and split an order of large fries which were more than enough for four. Burgers were juicy and flavorful and the order was up pretty fast. The restaurant was fairly clean given they were semi-busy and I also like that they have a free style fountain drink machine at this location. Cashier, Andy, was so polite :) He read the whole order back to ensure everything came out perfectly!

I ordered my usual Bacon Cheeseburger on lettuce wrap. It was delicious. The only thing that I took issue with was that I ordered my food via phone and still had to wait awhile. It was crowded during lunch time so I allowed for extra time. The parking lot is always jumping because of the other stores in the shopping center.

    Yum!

What I love about Five Guys is the cleanliness, happy and friendly staff, and of course, the best 5 dollar burger around! During my time spent there, I saw multiple staff members cleaning and keeping things orderly. And they were smiling. It's such a drag to go to a restaurant and see the employees missable. However, these folks were nice and I could see that they treated each other that way as well. Now the food. They have one of those drink stations that has 100+ options which is cool. The grub is always hot and fresh. And the burgers (whichever one you get) are so juicy. And did I mention the toppings? Too many to list! Come in, grab some peanuts while you wait, and get ready for a solid meal.

I've referenced Five Guys a dozen times, but never gave them props with a review. Shame. There are about a dozen burger joints that have swooped in over McDonalds and Wendy's on the burger hierarchy in the last decade, and Five Guys has emerged as the leader--they are everywhere. It's funny to see because it's originally a DC place with the first store in Arlington. (If only Little Tavern had been as lucky, DC natives would rule the world!) The Five Guys burger is great. Good bun, and great meat. Take a bite of just the burger and you see the difference from many others. It stands on its own. A good selection of toppings and peanuts while you wait. One thing that is new is the mini order of fries. That is a great option because the previous small size was way too big--that left me either throwing 1/2 away or force feeding myself. Lately, I had stopped ordering them all together. The thing about Five Guys is that they do what they do and nothing else. You know they will be doomed when they add salad or nuggets.

My favorite Five Guys with THE BEST FRIES! Kudos to the always pleasant staff greeting us with a smiles. They get a lot of traffic but are quick to serve us. Thank you Five Guys!

The name tells you they love hot dogs too! And there is a variety of them! There is a hamburger menu too so be sure to look at the whole menu! I created my own dog with just sauerkraut, with a side of fries and onion rings. It was brought out hot and ready! Very good food. I also ordered an old fashioned that was very smooth. It's a small place but it handled our group very well. Grab your seat after you order and they will bring it out to you. Great spot and I am glad I came!

I ordered the Fonz Italian Sausage layered with pastrami (seemed like lunch meat) and melted cheese on top. I think it was provolone. Served on a toasted bun. Filling and satisfying, good flavor. The hot fries was a regular order of fries served with an imbalanced sprinkle sort of dumped on the top layer of fries and not distributed all the way through, which had an extra cost of $2 for the sprinkle of spices, which was an annoying difference in price in my opinion. Solid options for beer and a few ciders. Full bar as well. TVs on the walls only showing sports. You get a table number, order at the counter, pay, and they bring it out to the table number. Casual spot. My immediate thoughts...this place is overpriced. My sausage dog, fries and cider came to $26, plus tax, so about $31 bucks. I repeat, $31 bucks. I honestly felt as though the place was price gauaging. A few other people at my table mentioned the prices and thought they were overpriced. Not much service received, just them bringing the order out. Food was yummy, but I'm not convinced about the value. I have had sausage dogs, hot dogs, fries and beer around the world and I feel this place was overpriced. I like the atmosphere because its a perfect place for casual dining and decent for groups.

I had a menu in front of me in no time. Drink order taken, but I feel like when I place this order, it always gets messed up. I ordered a Sprite and water, all I got was the Sprite. With the heat, I sure could have used the water more, but oh well. Time to order and I wanted to order a dog, but also something to go with it. Seeing how the dogs don't come with a side, you need to order something else. I went with the Chili Idol. You cannot go wrong with a chili cheese dog, that is for sure. I love their bun concept here, giving you the option to cut this up into thirds, which you will need to do because of how big this thing is. Then to add on the heap of toppings, chili, cheese sauce and diced onions. You are in for a treat. Of course I devoured it. As my side for this, I went with their Crispy Pickle Chips, served with Miso Ranch. I could have went with fries, but I think this elevated it just a bit more. These were fresh from the fryer. That ranch, the right amount of salty to compliment it all. The atmosphere in here was a bit dead during my visit as it was after the lunch rush, but when I was about to leave it was picking up as the World Cup was coming on. I can see why people flock here because it has televisions everywhere. And each one of them has some sort of sports on them.

I come to this establishment at least twice a week, so they know us and see us regularly. Unfortunately, this experience was completely unacceptable. We were served cold food, and the sandwich was literally thrown into the box as if the cook was rushing and didn't care about the quality of the order. To make matters worse, the food was RAW. I explained the entire situation to the general manager and even provided pictures showing exactly what we received. Instead of trying to accommodate us as regular customers, offer a replacement sandwich, provide a food credit, or even genuinely apologize, he repeatedly told us that if we brought the food back, they could do something about it. We had already thrown the food away because it was raw and unsafe to eat. This was the night before, and we had no reason to believe we needed to keep the food after taking pictures and documenting the issue. The fact that I'm a regular customer and was treated this way is extremely disappointing. There was absolutely no effort to make the situation right. I will NEVER eat at this establishment again. Serving customers raw food is a serious health concern, and based on my experience, I believe the local health department should be made aware of what happened. Terrible food. Terrible customer service. Absolutely unacceptable.

Pop up poutine specializes in Montreal style cuisine (has similarities French food). Their trademark dish is poutine, which are fries covered with different toppings. The traditional choice is cheese curds and gravy, but they also have various vegetable and meat toppings. The meat pastries were buttery and flaky with generous amounts of meat. The Jacques platter had piping hot crisp fries and thick slices of that smoked brisket meat.
