It is so nice to have a family owned business in the area especialy since one of the owners took the time to answer my questions. Definately will return!

My wife talked to the manager and he was very nice and brought us 2 new burgers. My wife's was good but they put the ShackSauce on it even tho she asked for no sauce! My burger was still super soggy. They need to drain the cherry peppers and grill them as they make the burger cold. They did give us a 5.00 off coupon to come back but with so many burger places in the area,I'm not sure I will.

The other thing that surprised me was the wait time. Even when not busy, the food will easily take 15+ minutes without ordering anything too exotic. All that being said, the food was very good, and unique. I did find it to be a tad salty and greasy for my liking, but overall, I had no issues with the food, and found it enjoyable. The wait time and prices will probably keep this place from being somewhere I would frequent, but I still think it is worth trying if you are in the area and looking for something different.

Two young girls were repeatedly running in and out of the restrooms, slamming the doors, yelling, and disturbing other customers nearby. A staff member asked that the behavior stop. Instead of acknowledging the issue and correcting them herself, MaryBeth took exception to the correction and doubled down. I stayed long enough to see how it played out. Despite what she implies, no one was cited or charged with anything. The police responded, made it clear they were uninterested in the situation, and everyone went on with their day. People can certainly have different opinions about how the situation should have been handled, but this review does not accurately reflect what I witnessed. Most parents either wouldn't allow their children to behave that way in the first place or would simply correct them and move on. Writing a review that misrepresents what happened is another matter entirely.

I was talking to a long time friend of mine, and he told me about this place he ate at in Naperville, IL. He told me I have to try it and it is right up my alley. Funny enough I saw a sign going up on a building not to far from my house and it read "Five Guys". I did not think it was the same place, but little did I know, it was! About two weeks after they opened I was out running some errands and decided to stop in to see what my buddy was taking about. I walked into the very plain red, white, and black interior with potatoes lining the walkway. I read the menu and it seemed pretty straight forward and seemed kind of odd that they only offered burgers, hotdogs, and grilled cheese, oh yeah, and fries. When I stepped upto the counter to order my food, there was a nice lady that asked me if I have ever eatten here before, I said no, and she explained how everything works...all the way down to eating peanuts while you wait for your food to be cooked fresh. I am not sure where they get the nuts from, but I have NEVER seen so many 3 nut peanuts before in my life! So I sat along the wall and about 5 mintues later my number was called. I got my food and sat back down not knowing what to expect. I opened the bag and there was a cup with fries pouring out, way to many to fit into the cup, but this is a GREAT thing, because they are AWESOME! I could go on for about a hour, but I just do not have time. This place is great, the food is great, and everything else I can say is awesome. If you are ever in Bloomingdale, near where the old Tower Records was, stop in and get some food! read more

Best burger and fries in the neighborhood. No contest! A little pricey, but it's not an every day thing (maybe that's why?) And who doesn't love free peanuts? That said, customer service could be better. The young lady was probably instructed to finish cleaning the windows before serving customers. And she actively avoided eye contact when I tried to ask about my missing shake (she was busy waiting for someone to bring her change for her cash drawer and probably didn't want to lose her train of thought). One of the guys cooking burgers eventually came up front to take care of that, so we're good. But the burger and fries were good enough that I could ignore all that. read more

I don't get it with the ppl that give this place anything above 1 star. This restaurant is simply an overpriced and bad quality restaurant. Honestly for $9 burger I was expecting some sort of a flavor. Don't get me going on the $6 large fries that are a pile of grease. I've had a Big Mac prob twice in my life and I truly think it's a better burger. Horrible quality for the money. Trust me on this. You'll need to sit in the restaurant for over 8 hrs to eat enough peanuts to even come close to getting what you've paid for at this restaurant. read more
