In my opinion , you can never go wrong with 5 guys burgers . The service is quick and the staff is friendly . Yes the prices have increased but still worth it! Usually go for the bacon burger!

I agree with most of the reviews of this place that it is kind of a souped up Wendy's. It you can overlook that analogy this place is worth checking out. They have a very short menu which is fine by me and if you do it well kudos. There are some positives and some negatives of this place that are obvious. The cost is a bit pricey but the food you get is well made and will stuff you. I got the regular burger with the works and the regular fries. I think the little burger and the regular fries would have filled me up but if your going to splurge why not go over the top. The burgers are all fresh and are cooked well done. I don't have an issue with that because the idea of eating raw AKA rare ground beef just doesn't appeal to me. The works comes with the usual fixings plus carmelised onions and mushrooms which add some nice flavor. Besides nacho cheese I'm a sucker for some good house cut fries that are cooked to perfection. All in all a good burger and some great fries but you can find a nice griddled burger at alot of diners for cheaper. Granted the fries probably won't be as good but you can save a few bucks a get a shake.

Five Guys Burgers and Fries is a chain of casual dining eateries that has popped up in Chicagoland over the past few years. This particular location is on Army Trail Road in Bloomingdale. Inside of Five guys is a clean eatery with a handful of tables set up inside along with a coke machine that dispenses a wide array of flavors of various Coca-Cola products. They have a fairly limited menu consisting of Burgers, Fries and hot dogs. In visiting Five Guys I decided to try the hot dog. Now, Five Guys does not sell a Chicago style hot dog exactly, but gives you the option to put whatever you want on the dog. While they didn't have sport peppers, celery salt or long pickle slices I was able to get them to make something resembling a Chicago style hot dog. The hot dog I received came on a soft bun. The dog itself was sliced in half to be wide enough to fit on this larger than normal bun. The mustard was fine, the relish was a bit too sour for a hot dog and the onions are slices up nicely. The problem with this hot dog is the sausage itself. It has an unpleasant taste and reminds me of cheap hot dogs I would use as fishing bait as a child. It has a flavor that almost reminds me of the smell emitted when spraying certain insecticides. While this isn't any sort of a real attempt at a Chicago style hot dog, it's just plain awful. I'd recommend avoiding it.

Really?! Little tiny chopped up bits of almost burnt bacon. For the price these burgers are this is unacceptable and ridiculous.

Have eaten here many times and always had great food. Today, not so much. Burger was burned and fries were horrible.

The owner helped us with moving tables around and her, the team, the chef, and the servers were very nice and thoughtful. Also, the ambiance of the location was so clean. It definitely felt like home. As a Filipino American, missing home, all the decor was cool and the photos with close up details was super cool. Now the food? Holy $h!!! It was soo good! I wouldn't have known fusion wings with Filipino flavors was so good! Also, with our half of the group, we shared the 100 family plan with 8 people. It was super worth the price to divide that with 8! 100 wings, 5 flavors of wings, 4 flavors of fries, 2 rice, 2 veggie sticks, and ranch? If I could give them a 20/5 I would! We can't wait to go back!

I thought both flavors were pretty good - Honey Thai Chili and Soy Garlic. There was extra sauce in the recess of the container for each flavor that I used a spoon to pour over the chicken which was necessary, especially for the Soy Garlic since the pieces were on the dry side otherwise. I didn't care much for the fried rice because there was too much sesame oil. The eggrolls were good and the included dipping sauce container was huge! The parmesan garlic fried corn was good too. Overall would try again but would avoid the rice plates and get the chicken by itself. Visit date: 3/13/26

Multiple TVs, mounted above order counter, are playing with sound and captions off. Chips and a very mild salsa kicked off our in-house experience. Flavors were unique (for example their salsa verde was cream or mayo based). Ordered their $18 namesake burrito with steak and it was two meals. Waitress brought me chicken instead. Meat was tender and well seasoned. I didn't enjoy the refried beans. The rice had a good sprinkling of peas. Guacamole, sour cream and diced tomatoes were striped across shredded iceberg lettuce. Tall red tumbler of Horchata $4. Will return to try other menu offerings. Look for their daily specials and their daylong lunch offerings!

Today while in the area my wife and I decided to be adventurous and stop by. I was pleasantly surprised with our experience. They offered free chips and salsa, and also had lunch specials which is always good. The girl at the front had us sit down and brought us menus and the chips and salsa. Steak in the tacos/burritos was tasty although a little dry (which i chalk up to coming after the lunch period at 130p). I really want to come back earlier in the day while everything is fresher! But that being said was happy with the food and it was reasonably priced and the serving sizes were very good. The place had a good flow to it with your standard pictures and seating (chairs vs booths which is another plus). I definitely plan on coming back next time I am in the area.

The staff was friendly and welcoming which made a good first impression. We kept it simple and ordered half regular, half spicy chicken with a side of their savory gravy. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time especially since we arrived before the dinner rush and the restaurant wasn't too busy. Everything was hot and prepared as expected. Overall it was an ok experience. I'd happily come back and explore more of the menu next time.

I sent my husband inside to grab the food and according to him it was chaotic and messy in there. He did not care for the vibe. The fried chicken was bland, plus all dark meat in the two-piece combo, so I won't be getting that again. It came with a side of gravy which is ok if you like gravy (I usually do not and didn't like this one either). Fries are nothing special. The chicken sandwich is really lacking in seasoning and they skimped on the mayo. Popeye's does it better and for cheaper too. Their angus cheeseburger reminds me very much of a Wendy's burger, although the patty is thicker here. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here for the burger, but it's a solid option if ordering other food. The star of the show was the Jolly spaghetti. What a unique flavor from the sweetness of the sauce to the cheese and hot dog pieces! I wish there had been just a little more cheese, however. Also, it only tastes good when hot and starts to lose its luster when it cools down. I do like that they serve fountain Pepsi since it's pretty hard to come by these days other than at Taco Bell (and it's less watered down than Taco Bell's version). Overall, I think this place is just ok and if not for the spaghetti I'd probably never eat here again. I will come back occasionally for that spaghetti. It's Sheldon approved. IYKYK
