They are exactly what they aim to be - Burgers and Fries and consistent quality and service. We have been a few times at very different points in time - even different years...and they have been consistently great. The fries are always perfectly cooked and the quantity is always amazing. A cup of fries. in a bag FILLED WITH MORE fries. Usually a Large is enough to share with my 3 other family members. They are made to order, so they are always fresh. The burgers are always made exactly how we request them and they are so neatly assembled. The wait time is not bad, i think the longest we had to wait was 10 minutes. I don't think too much about my visits to chain restaurants, but this one I wanted to be sure I shared my experience. We have been to several Five Guys branches over the years, and find them to be consistent in service and quality and, now that I think of it, price range. This Brunswick store is in line with expectations derived from all of the prior branches. We took our adult daughter here because - although she will eat nearly anything - she craves burgers and fries. Neither she nor us were disappointed. I suppose it is a bit pricier than it used to be. I remember one rave review a branch had placed on their wall that said something about the best $5 burger around. Well, those days are gone, but though not a special bargain deal, their food is worth the price. And shelling and eating their free peanuts is one of the better ways of waiting for a restaurant meal. This is a very busy branch. There would be one person ordering at the counter one moment and then suddenly six customers in line the next. As I sat and waited, I was impressed with how fast those lines went down. Getting to the restaurant was a minor challenge on this first visit. The direction we came from saw us having to turn into the Hannafords plaza, and thing driving to the right to find the place down near the Burger King. Needless to say, it will be easier our next time there, and it may be much easier coming from the other direction. **Disclosure** This review is solely on take out order being delivered by Doordash as I have not been into their establishment. The quality of the food is comparable to other Five Guys I have had throughout the country. The Burgers are always cooked well, and the condiments are a plentiful when placed on the burger. The only gripe I would have is stop trying to make it seem smaller when placing it inside the aluminum foil. Just wrap it and let the size show thru when I go to pull it out of the bag. They never disappoint when it comes to fries as each order has always had a near full bottom of the bag plethora of fries. I especially like their cajun fries as it has a nice kick to it. I tried their hot dog one time and one of the better ones I have had where they split it down the middle and grill it on both sides. Something about that char flavor and crunch that just adds a nice flavor to the overall experience. Overall, I have not had a bad experience with this specific establishment. Only got two stars for the friendly staff, but... When we placed the order we were the only customers in the place. After a long wait we had to go up and ask about it. Nobody ever called our number. Our food had been sitting there getting cold for 20 minutes. Told the server it was cold but didn't get a response. Finally was offered one free milkshake (there were two of us). I always seem to get the bacon cheeseburger. I love the endelss varitety of toppings, all at the same cost, weather its naked or with everything. The burgers are always good well, never over done, despite my request for well done for fear of death by dirty ground meat. The fries are served in a paper bag, perfect for ripping open to share, with globs of ketchup for dipping. It is fast food style, with sit down restaurant quality food. It is made made to order and quickly. There are lots of shelled peanuts served, but not a place where you threw the shells on the floor. I'm surprised at the rating this restaurant holds on here. The quality of the food is exceptionally good and defies all expectations of what a regular burger joint should be. They have easy to use soda machines, the food comes out quickly and made to order, and they always ALWAYS put extra fries in the bag. I love their burgers!!!! I don't know what they put in them but they are delicious! This is probably the third or fourth time that I have been to this five guy burger franchise and it is consistently delicious. I usually order the regular cheeseburger, and you have the option of adding as many toppings as you want at no additional charge. I usually opt for the lettuce, tomato, mayo, pickle, and sautéed onions. Additional toppings are sautéed mushrooms, mustard, jalapeños, A1 steak sauce and a few others. I usually just get a small fry and that is enough for me since they overload the cup with freshly cut and fried French fries. I find the fries cut perfectly (not too thick or skinny) and always fresh and hot. This time I ordered one of five guys new menu items which is a freshly made milkshake with the optional whipped cream and no extra charge. I went with the peanut butter and chocolate milkshake, but was informed that I could add as many flavors as I wanted and no extra charge. The milkshake was incredible. It tasted even better than at an ice cream parlor. Needless to say I left five guys extremely satisfied and full. Again I don't know what's in those burgers but they are delicious! read more

Five guys burgers is the place to go when you want a quality burger quickly. If you've never been to one you can choose a bunch of toppings for free. Fresh hand cut fries are always good. They do give away free peanuts so if you have an allergy be aware. I've been here a bunch and have never walked out disappointed. Everything you want a Five Guys to be. This location isn't as crazy busy as Augusta or Portland, so it's better if you want a quick bite or have a hungry kid to feed. The only thing going for this place is the speed they cook the food. This was my first time here, and I was not impressed. If you know five guys chances are you know they are good for a mess. They aren't gourmet but they're great for a quick bite and better than typical fast food. If you aren't familiar with them do know the the small fry is only called a small because it's their smallest size, trust me it's enough for (at least) 2. The menus is pretty cut and dry their are some great options but I wouldn't mind seeing more added. My only real issue is that they've often got my order wrong, at this location. They're great about firing up a new one but it just sucks to have to wait for a new burger while the rest of the group is eating. read more

It's not In-N-Out burger, and as my mother pointed out, "they could use some shakes," but it's an average trendy burger place. And they have peanuts. Coming from a vegetarian, I'd say three stars is pretty good. I will say that this place is super family friendly, very clean, and staffed with a lot of people making it very fast. This was my first time trying 5 Guys. The place was clean. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered regular cheeseburger and mini fries. I didn't realize the reg burgers are actually doubles. I would have ordered the mini burger. Basically you get a lot of food for a little money, but the quality and taste is mediocre at best. This is only the second five guys I have ever been to and was a little disappointed. I got the Double cheeseburger and Cajun fries. The burger was not piping hot and the cheese never really melted. The five guys in greenwood IN burgers are piping hot and have a little caramelization on the burger which melts the cheese and fuses everything together and makes it amazing. The burger I had here tonight was just ok. The fries were cooked perfect and as expected , except the Cajun seasoning I tried and didn't care for but that was my fault for trying it and I'm sure if I would have gone back up and asked for regular fries they would have given me them. When Five Guys came to Brunswick I couldn't wait to try it. I was sorely disappointed. The burger didn't even taste like ground beef and the prices were way to high for what we got. $5 bucks for a grilled cheese for my grand daughter. Really? Oh and they don't use Maine potato for their fries which I find is reason enough not to go back. Buy local and just go to Mcd's if you want bland food at high prices. read more
