Have been eating Five Guys for almost 20 years and have been to over a dozen different locations. Have never had an issue with them in all the years I have been going. This time was a different story though. My wife and I ordered through Uber Eats and were incredibly disappointed when our food arrived. My burger was completely made wrong and the fries were cold and soggy even though it left the restaurant and was at our door in less than 10 minutes. It shouldn't really take a very educated person to make a burger correctly when it is spelled out on a receipt in front of them. I even checked the order and it was definitely ordered correctly. read more

Our burgers and fries were hot and delicious by the time we picked them up- awesome!! This location is doing a great job of implementing social distancing. They bring your food out to the door and you can hand them your payment. They also have high top tables set up with menus outside so you can place an order. Great job read more

I love five guys but heres my attitude towards thems, yes....i came 7 minutes before closing, i didnt know if i was going to get service and if i did how terrible it would be. These guys on staff when i was there were AMAZING first: they told me how they would never even start cleaning until it was wayyyy past closing time and then made my food fresh, they were so friendly even knowing how bad o felt and above all, i took it to go and my fries were so crispy~~ much love!! Five Guys scores a 4 with me. The food is good and I enjoy it, but their ARE better burgers. Besides that, my only complaint is that they don't have milkshakes! It's never too crowded and there is never a time where you can't find at least one open table. The wait for food is typically short and the free peanuts tide you over till it's time to feast! The people working the register and taking your order are very quick and nice. The kitchen is open and you can see the grills, fryers, and everything. The hotdogs are pretty high tiered and the burgers are good as well. The price is decent- not a steal, not a rip off either. The fries are delicious with vinegar or ketchup, or even just salt. Everything is wrapped in tin foil so it is a great meal to take home and eat while sitting down to a movie since it won't get cold. The distinctive red and white tiles on the walls of five guys are very unique. Always a good experience eating here. read more

Poor customer service! I went there today for a curbside order. When I called, the man that took my order had an attitude. I ignored him & went ahead with my order. When I arrived, I could not park directly in front of the building. I called to let staff know that I had arrived. I described my car & let them know that I had my hazard lights on so that they could see me. 5 minutes later, this man walks in front of my car & asks if I had an order. I replied "Yes". He rolled his eyes & approached my car. He rests a plastic container on my car mirror. I lifted the container & told him that he could scratch the paint on my car. He snaps at me and says "Where's your card?" I asked what was his problem. He didn't respond. I put cash in the container & took the food bag. The man storms off & comes back a minute later with my change. Again, he hits my mirror & rests the container on it. This time, I smack the container up & asked him "What the f--- is your problem?? I already told you not to put that on my car because you will scratch my paint!" He said he had to because I didn't have on a mask. He was lying because he was closer to me the 1st time when he came to the car with the food. Either way, his attitude stunk from the 1st encounter over the phone. It's apparent that someone had ticked him off earlier, but he was trying to take it out on me. I called him a simple POS jacka--, & I left. I didn't give him 1 red cent for a tip, & I normally give more money during the holiday season. I've been patronizing that restaurant for years, & I have NEVER been disrespected like that before. Whoever this guy is, he doesn't deserve to work there, & they need to rid themselves of him. Personally, I'm staying away so that I don't have to be behind bars for Christmas! read more

I have been coming to this location faithfully since I was in elementary school and for a reason. The staff here are courteous, quick and attentive to a T. My dad was floored when they went above and beyond to double paper bag his fries and then put it in another plastic bag because they were concerned the bag might not make it home. Who does that? These guys. They could have easily ignored the issue (which would have been understandable) until my dad asked for help himself but they insisted and patiently wrapped it all up for him. It is the little things like this that people don't forget about and trust me excellent customer service is hard to forget. Heartattack on a place; that's what I call Five guys burgers. I know they cook their food in peanut oil and whatnot, but have you seen their burgers? I get full for the rest of the day when i do get a five guys burger. I always tell myself that I should stay away from this place but im sure many of you will know WHY I keep on coming back once you have a bite of their wonderful, succulent, mouthwatering burger they serve. There are many toppings you can choose from and yes, you may get all of it. Burger gets so big after adding all that toppings and some of you will need a knife and fork like I do. I will devour it with my hands dirty if I'm secluded in my room, but I like to sorta keep my dignity when I'm out in public ;) Their burger, a BAG of french fries, and a glass of coca cola always do the tricks for me. This place really knows how to do burgers and fries really well. They keep it simple, but execute very well at what they do. I love the juiciness of the burgers and the fact that the fries are always fresh. I used the online ordering system and realized I didn't add lettuce to my burger. I called and told them that and they were so friendly and said it would be no problem to add it. When I arrived they were super friendly and I got my food very fast. Five strikes and you are out: I have tried the Five Guys location in Woodbridge (3 times) and Manassas (2 times) hoping it would eventually live up to the hype. After all, any restaurant can have a bad day or two. After five visits, Five Guys is out. Food is just OK, service was not great (sometimes even rude) and I usually have enough grease left over to lube every ball joint on my pickup. Sorry Guys, but ... Not recommended! read more

I'm trying to find the In-N-Out Burger equivalent here in Virginia and so far Five Guys comes close. Their meat patty is bigger which I like a lot and there are more choices for toppings. But the bun needs improvement, halfway through I find myself taking it off so I can finish the burger. Fries are not bad, I was never big on In-N-Out's fries so don't have much of an opinion here. Great burgers with a nice selection of toppings at no extra charge! I went crazy with the toppings... green peppers, bbq sauce, A1, lettuce, tomato, pickles, jalopenos, caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms, and some raw onions. A lil burger is plenty as a regular burger is two patties. I totally agree, regular fries is plenty as they pile it in. Free peanuts while you wait too! My only complaint is for health reasons I can't eat this more often. If only they had an option for ostrich or buffalo (as they're suppose to contain less fat/cholesterol). Omg my inner fat girl LOVES this place!!! This is my FAVORITE burger place to go to on my cheat days. Hand crafted patties, fresh crisp veggies, and all the fixings your little inner fat girl could want!!! Oh it's so good. Just don't eat here everyday or you'll soon look like you ate five guys but it is a delicious little once in a while cheat. So worth the extra few minutes on the treadmill to work it off. read more

Have been going to this 5 Guys for awhile and never had issues until today. When I was ordering I can see the grill and saw a hamburger patty sitting on the spatula. So as I was waiting for my order, I am watching them put the cheese on the patties and for my kid's cheese burger, they take the patty that was sitting there for I don't know how long. I knew it was cold because they put the cheese on the grill first to melt it a little. When they were putting the order into the bag, I asked how long was the patty sitting there they used for my kid's burger. She just shrugged her shoulder and threw it out and made another one. read more
