The service was amazing, the lady that took my order was very nice. The food was good. I'm not really a hotdog person but it did remind me of Chicago. The gyro was decent. Fetta cheese cost extra to put on, I thought that was pretty uncommon. The fries were seasoned good.

This little spot is a hidden gem run by a very kind couple with incredible work ethic. I have over several occasions seen them working tirelessly to prepare the meals from scratch and you can taste the difference in their food. This is as close as it gets to eating real middle eastern food in this area. Everything we have tried here was delicious. My favorite middle eastern dishes from this spot are their mixed grill platter, fatoush salad, and their gyro salad - which are all exceptional. The meat is juicy and cooked to perfection which the burst of flavors in the salad makes the combo satisfying. If you're not a huge fan of middle eastern food but you like to try unique American food/treats, then this spot is also the place to be. From Chicago style hot dogs, Philly cheese steaks to deep fried Twinkie's - there is literally something here to make everyone happy!

Possibly the best Small Side of Baba Ghanouj i've enjoyed around STL #BradyEats

Went for a Mediterranean-Food fix and they clearly got high marks! I was fooled by the name "Classic Red Hots" as I rarely eat hot dogs. After having been to over 6 other restaurants, Albashas nailed the flavors we craved. Definitely going back for their Eggplant Baba ghanouj and a fork tender Lamb Mansaf which was plated on a bed of rice with lemon-pita sauce and crunchy fancy sliced almonds. The Mediterranean Persian Lebanese flavors really shine in this somewhat hidden gem with counter-service & takeaway. Enjoyed w pics 2022Nov02 outside for lunch. They really are large entrée sized meals, priced accordingly, in which we literally brought home another meal for two. Shannon next door at Our Free Water Store said their hummus was excellent too. I may never buy store-bought again and save up for this tastebuds treat! Thanks for liking, sharing, and following Sean J. Brady #BradyEats #NeighborhoodTastingSociety #FOOD #FUN

Hands down the best Gyro I've ever had! I'm from LA and have tried various versions, but this place has landed at the very top of my list! I got it with every on it...I think it's the yummy sauce they use that sets it ahead of the game! Great prices for the portions they serve! Love the simplicity of the shop and the heartwarming service here. Fast service as well! Perfect spot to stop with the kids! They loved their Hot Dogs (didn't take a pic) and the cheese fries have them asking me to take them back already! Lastly, the Deep Fried Twinkies...words can not describe! lol but I will try my best... yum, yum, yummy!!! The heap of fine powdered sugar on top is what gives it a similar taste of a funnel cake (the good kind you get at Six Flags or Disneyland) but then you hit the center and the cool cream balances out the fried outside. Pure dessert perfection! Highly Recommend the Gyro, cheese fries, Chicago Dog and Fried Twinkies! Hope you enjoy it as much as me and the kids did!

I just moved into the area, never really got anything from this strip mall except firehouse subs. I really wanted a gyro, gave this place a try. Ordered directly off their online menu, that was super easy cause it was done through grub hub. Upon entering, the man at the counter was extremely rude. He asked for my order, I had to repeat it about 10 times, said my name, my order number, the items on the order, even showed him my receipt, and it was as if he didn't believe I had placed an order. After finally receiving my food, I got the Chicago dog and a beef (what I thought was going to be beef) gyro. Chicago dog was ok, bu the beef if you can call it beef gyro was interesting. First of all, super salty, second the "beef" was more like mystery meat. I thought it was beef, tasted more like a breakfast sausage, could've been lamb, was cut into these rectangular slabs. Gyro had a ton of "meat", so that's the only good part. I'd go back if I really wanted a hot dog, gyros not so much.

The food and service are amazing! The kabsa, mansaf, and gyro are the best. I've been visiting regularly for a couple of years.

I'd suggest that there…read moreshould be a life-size statue of me at the door along with Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi, but it might have a negative impact on sales, due to my haters, and I'd hate for this place to have to go out of business. Already, there are signs that things have taken a turn for the worse. They're playing music via an ad-supported Spotify account, complete with Rocket Mortgage ads, and the tables are covered with ads for vinyl siding companies that probably prey on the elderly. The latter is an especially sensitive issue for me as I get on in years. Just because I look dumb doesn't mean that I can easily be taken advantage of. No but really, as many times as I've been here, I don't know that I've had anything other than the (pejorative-sounding) Rajun Cajun, the Seaside Combo and the Fish Tacos. I used to get the Rajun Cajun, but I gradually shifted to the Seaside Combo, which seems oddly generous, given that it comes with six shrimp. It's not exactly inexpensive, but it doesn't seem so unreasonable, at a time when you have to sign up for Klarna just to eat at McDonald's. The shrimp they use are surprisingly decent quality. They're probably not quite jumbo, otherwise they'd describe them as such on the menu (why waste the opportunity?), but they're not far off. The cod planks, on the other hand, are a tad skimpy, somewhere in between the fish stick you'd get at a good elementary school and the ones they serve at Long John Silver's. You get two with the Seaside Combo, and with an order of Fish & Chips. I wonder if they have separate, larger planks that they use for the Fish & Chips. The list of sides is longer than you might think. Some of them carry an upcharge, and it's not always clear why that's the case. Spinach, for example, costs extra, as does corn on the cob. Who'd pay extra just to eat spinach, Popeye? I've only ever gone with the fries and coleslaw, neither of which is regarded as premium, though I'd argue that they're the two best things you can get with fried fish and shrimp. It's hard to mess up food that you're just tossing into a deep fryer, but credit where credit is due: my fish, shrimp and fries were amazing (as was the coleslaw). They were generously battered (by hand, supposedly) and cooked until perfectly crisp. They must be making use of the timers on those deep fryers. They may have purposely cranked the volume on the ad-supported Spotify so we wouldn't hear them going off. If they did, that was smart of them. Pro Tip: Sprinkle Slap Yo Mama on everything, including the coleslaw. Don't sweat the sodium content. The world is obviously coming to an end sooner rather than later anyway. But don't bother with the signature spicy-and-sweet hot sauce, which is gross. I appreciated the way the fish and shrimp were artfully arranged on the plate. But they buried the lemon wedge, and I didn't notice until I'd already eaten one of the shrimp. So that was definitely a missed opportunity. I'd suggest that they invest in slightly larger plates, but I shudder to think what they might have to do to finance that.
