When I was eating meat I love love loved this place. Their burgers are pretty darn tasty. However now, I've lost my taste for meat and have now switched to eating grilled cheeses - not bad, but super greasy, but what would you expect of a hamburger joint? The fries are still one of the best I've ever had and even better shared with friends. Sometimes I think of going just to order fries but would wonder if anyone would think I'm weird for that. But be warned about the "veggie sandwich" listed on their menu. Apparently it's just whatever "toppings" you want on a bun. I crave these burgers, and this is my absolute favorite area location. You have to order "all the way." It's the only way to get the right balance of awesomeness. Prior to my learning this little trick, I always struggled with the "right" way to order. Should I get pickles? Mayo? Is that going to be too much on that Little Cheeseburger. No such thing. As one of the original burger joints in the area, I'm happy to say that their quality hasn't diminished. Been to this location a couple of times because I work nearby. I've had both the burgers and the BLT and they're consistently good. The fries, on the other hand, are hit or miss; hence the not so perfect star rating. I have eaten them fresh off the fryer, in store, and they were soggy and oily. Another time, they were perfect. Hit or miss. I've been to this location three times within the past 6 months. Service was great the first two times, but lacking on my last visit. The woman on the cashier register seem confused out my order I pre-placed and was unwilling to find out more when questioned about it. I'd like to give zero stars. I ordered 7 burgers 2 were hamburgers (no cheese). My mother is lactose intolerant and my daughter is ALLERGIC to milk. I got home with $60 worth of burgers to find my daughter's hamburger was actually a cheeseburger. Thankfully I saw it before she ate it. They messed up the order three times. First, they added an item we did not order and charged us for it. We had to go back and ask them to correct it. Second, they didn't put in the cheese for the cheeseburger. Third, they messed up on the toppings. The patty and fries were cold and dry. This is where I was first introduced to the infamous FIVE GUYS! Since then I had it in Atlanta and San Diego. By far a great burger that will do the trick every time by filling your tummy up. Just don't go running afterwards or you will regret it in the worst way. :-) Now another great part is the amount of fries you get to devour with your burger, a bag full. I've had good and bad experiences herefor years. Service isn't usually terrible but the last time I went they were messing up multiple orders and the girl did not hear half my order, and was confused when I told her I asked for fries. The food was fresh, but there are other times where it is okay. If I had known there were closer five guys to me, which there are with better reviews, I would have been going to those locations. I did have it once in Chantilly and it tasted much more "fresh" than this location tastes sometimes. I will most likely be going to other locations from now on. read more

For the record -- I'm partial to In & Out. I'm told Steak n' Shake is fantastic -- I cannot wait to try it. But for my money, this is the best thing to happen to East Coast fast/travel food in decades. Always fresh, always quality, always delicious. They serve burgers, hot dogs, fries, and soda -- and that's it. Enjoy the free peanuts while you wait (unless you have a peanut allergy -- in which case, DO NOT GO HERE). As for this location -- they are fast, efficient, and make a tasty meal. OH! They have BIRCH BEER (its like Root Beer, only better) in their soda fountain -- and that is just AWESOME. The staff is bilingual (English and Espanol). Parking (as with all locals in this complex) is a pain, so just look for something in one of the nearby lots as opposed to right out front. read more

Best burger I have had in a while. Five Guys is always solid, never disappoints. I debated getting the small burger but I really needed two patties so I got the regular Bacon Cheeseburger. Still just a little pink. Perfect. The coup de grâce? The mushroooms were griddled well. Sometimes Five Guys just tosses mushrooms on the flat top for a few seconds. Not long enough for me. Clean location and friendly staff. I have had mixed experiences here. Sometimes it takes a while to get your food even when you order ahead. The burgers and fries are solid. I come to this Five Guys location all the time since it's close by my house. This Five Guys is pretty consistent for the most part. Every time I go, it's always the same (good right)? I've never really had any issues. Just delicious juicy burgers and cajun fries! Even though I LOOVEE to eat, I can't tackle the regular burgers so I opt out for the little cheese burgers and little cajun fries. I came here yesterday as soon as they opened because I had been drinking the night before. I walked in and ordered a bacon cheese burger with no bun. I asked for fried onions and peppers. The onions were raw and the pepper's were cut into Hugh chunks. I'm not sure if they did this because THEY thought not frying my toppings would be healthier for me but that's NOT what I asked for lol. The lettuce was wet so when I ate it, it was slippery. I have had burgers without the bun and this was the worst. If you are bringing an item to your menu I think you should master it, especially a business with a great reputation such as this. read more

This is a Five Guys. There are many like it, but this one tends to stand out a little bit for me. It has all the usual things you'd find at a Five Guys, such as free peanuts, good burgers, way too many fries with your meal, etc. but there is something a little extra going on here. The staff seems just a little bit friendlier, the walls and seating just a little bit more organize and cleaner, and the food (especially the fries) seems to come out for you a bit faster. When you combine these bits and pieces together you end up with a Five Guys that stands out from the rest enough for me to make this the one I go to, even if it isn't the nearest one to me. read more

I absolutely love five guys. But this location is terrible. I called to give them a heads up on a corporate online group order for the next day and asked a simple question if I could have each person's order in separate bags. First guy didn't understand and handed the phone to another employee. He said sure but was asked to "hold on." He hung up. Thinking it was an accident, I called back saying I got hung up on. The guy hangs up on me again. Irked, I called back and get the old school AOL tone. Angry, I called back a few moments later and asked to speak to the manager. Can you guessed what happened? Hung up again... absolutely flabbergasted, I called one more time and finally got the shift manager on hold. Whether his apologies were genuine or not, I told him it was appreciated. The two employees that hung up on me are obviously immature and unprofessional, possibly high schoolers but that's no excuse to treat a customer. Called in my order repeated it twice, the guy said "got it, got it". I drove all the way to pick my order up (should have checked before I left) drive all the way back home and my order was wrong! Yeah he "got it" alright. So then I have to drive all the way back and got a refund because by this time I had a appointment I had to be to and couldn't wait 10 min for them to recook the meal. We have been coming to this five guys for years. Recently, however, something seems to have gone wrong. Firstly, it seems there phone may not be working as there is no answer. I tried calling and when I came into the store I mentioned this. I called to show, they looked at the phone and then just shrugged at me. The order was quick but upon arriving home I found one of the orders wrong. It was an15 minute trip back. I showed phone guy but all he said was "two patties" to the cook staff and ignored me. Good location? Generous with their fries - order one size less than you think you need. Really good hot dogs split and grilled on the flat top. But they don't know not to split the bun. Everything falls out the bottom so keep it wrapped in the Reynolds as you eat it. read more

Five Guys simply makes outstanding burgers served on fresh baked buns. Best I've ever had. Menu is very simple - hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, sodas. I use Five Guys as my yard stick when I hit any new burger joint and so far (though a few have come close) nobody has topped the burger I get here. Rounding out the goodness are the fries of which you get MANY. If there are only two of you a small order to share will be more than enough. Although I must say I have a fond memory of my first trip to a 5 Guys when each of us ordered our own fries and we had a mountain of leftovers. Now the dogs are great, but may as well stick to the excellent burgers as lots of places can put out a passable dog. Man, with all the grease, and two patties of beef on a bun, they might as well call this place Five THIGHS, cause that's how big you'd get if you ate here regularly. Having said that, it's yummy! I like my fries the way I like my women--dirty! That's how they come at Five Guys--skins on and delicious. At this particular location, they advertise on the wall the birthplace of that day's fries---in this case, somewhere in Idaho (no surprise there; that's like going to a prison and finding someone who has knocked over a liquor store). This branch of FiveGuys serves a ridculous amount of fries. They spill over the top of the fry cup and slither on their slugtrail of grease to the bottom of the carry-out bag. It's almost sad so many fries were felled for my enjoyment. Ah, hell, no it isn't! They're awesome fries and I wolfed them down like the quarter-Irishman that I am.
