Its been Sooooo long since I've been to Five Guys, so it was time to revisit an old friend. After getting out of Prison (more later) we decided to eat some healthy American food and FG's fit the bill. I ordered the little cheese burger, fries and shake ...I wasn't very hungry. As you can see even the "little" is BIG so don't let that fool you. The service is wonderful and refreshing, the servers are awesome here and work together well as a team kinda rare these days. I'm not a big fan of their food here. We were close by and my husband suggested this place since it's been a while anyway. The tables and chair were taped off outside and inside. I was a bit disappointed that we weren't able to even dine outside, especially since they were near a shopping center. Service was friendly. Enrique was the cashier and he had an upbeat personality and he was very friendly. Our food took a bit long. There were maybe 3 other people in front of us and 2 behind us. The two people behind us got their food before us and one other person before us. They had to do an emergency shut down after the two people behind us ordered. They placed a hand written temporary closed sign on the door but did not lock any of the doors. So, when people were coming in, the staff yelled out that they were closed. After we got our food, we decided to have a picnic in our trunk. Good thing I had blankets, it was pretty cold outside. We seen people walking up towards the restaurant and told them that they were closed. They said they ordered their food online. When the people tried to open the door, it was locked. One of the men kept knocking until a staff member was exiting. He told her that he placed an online order, she told him to try the other door. That door was also locked. He waited a few minutes before someone let him in. When he exited about 5 minutes later, he was upset and he had no food in his hands either. I would probably be upset as well. That was a waste of time for no reason. Again, food was just ok. It was flavorless. I even selected all the way on my burger plus with raw onions and jalapeños and it still did not hit the spot. The fries were good but not salted and not the best I've tried. This place wouldn't be my first choice for burgers that's for sure and plus it was pricey for just ok burgers! read more

This location is awesome and the employees are always energetic and very nice from the moment we walk in. What I like about this location is the manager is always encouraging his employees and telling them they are doing great and the burgers he is receiving from them look amazing. That is awesome leadership and very encouraging and you can tell the employees enjoy working here The burgers are really juicy also and make sure to try out the Cajun fries! A regular is enough for my fiancé and I and we found that the large size fries is to much! Try and get "all the way" on the burgers and get the bacon cheeseburger! Is amazing and not to much food where you can't finish everything. Parking is very nice also and if you have a Tesla there is a charging station right next to here! Wow! Unbelievably professional service! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles and greetings. The young man working the register was so friendly,helpful and professional! Same with the young lady that gave us our order making sure we had everything we needed. To the cooks who made our some what complicated order exactly as we ordered it. The young man cleaning the spotless dining room and emptying the trash can asking how we are doing and if we needed anything then wishing us a good day as we left. I've been on a little tour of burger joints. I'd heard a lot of good things about Five Guys. I remember having it in the Riverpark location and this location. It's pretty good, but I expected to be amazed. A couple of tips... the jalapenos are fresh cut nickel slices. The soft drinks are the Smart Coca-Cola fountains. They have flavors you can add, but on this location had run out of some of the flavors. The regular burgers are all double patties. The small burgers are single patties. The meat patties are nicely cooked and the veggies are all fresh. Our only complaint is the cheese. I recognize this is a matter of taste. American cheese is just not my favorite. At the last moment while ordering, I remembered there used to be big self serve bins of peanuts. You can still get peanuts, but you have to ask for them. I will start off by saying (typing, actually ) that In-n-Out has always been my barometer of a great hamburger. Having said that, my experience at 5 Guys and Fries was In-n-Out on steroids. So many commonalities. Freshly cooked, high grade beef, wonderful fresh bun, great, seemingly happy employees. The biggest difference is the meat. The patty is larger. You can taste the meat even with all the toppings. Also, many more toppings to choose from including mushrooms, bacon, and others shown in my menu pic. The fries, in my opinion, were far superior to In-n-Out. Much larger fries. Crisp outside and soft inside. And way more in the bag. Delicious, couldn't be better, maxi-fries. They also have roasted whole peanuts to munch before lunch. They are open until 10pm 7 days per week. You gonna love these burgers or your money back. Shakes were ready, waited another 13 minutes for the burgers and fries. By the time they were ready, the shakes were melted by then and had to have them remade.
