I typically get the food to go/delivered and every time, im served with small scraps of beef with overwhelming amounts of broccoli. I had a quick and smooth experience here. I go to panda a lot and this location was just okay. The people were friendly and very busy. The cook was pumping out fresh orange chicken and had just filled the bowl when I was ordering. However the server gave me a small portion. I didn't want to ask for more, embarrassing. I just took what I got. The music was kind of loud in there and I felt like I had to talk louder than normal. But I was in and out. The cashier asked about the rewards app which I do have. I got a free side of fire shrimp. Again, very small portion. But my food was ready fast. I don't frequent this location and if I lived on this side of town, I would drive to the other side of town to get more food for what I'm paying. read more

The only thing that kinda bugged me but his name is Geoff who served my food for me but he wasn't wearing any gloves and as you'd imagine his fingers did get in my food. I love panda express, to me it's comfort food. Every now and then I crave chow mein in their orange chicken. I went this morning everything was fresh, the employees seemed happy to be there, I received a welcome when I walked in the door. I ordered a three item combo, all of the food was fresh. I arrived about two hours after they opened. I was in an out in a couple of minutes. I love how they take their customer safety serious and you enter through One door and exit through a different door. They have a 10 person maximum which keeps everyone safe and socially distanced. read more

Door dash order is never ready on time. Crazy thing is I only get potstickers. Annoying

This spot is offering takeout and online pickup. They do require you wear a mask when entering, they also have 6feet markers on the floor for social distance. I made an online order and selected to pick up 1 hour later. When I arrived I went straight to the pick up window and the manager told me it would be a few minutes because they where waiting for an item to be cooked to complete my order. I waited an additional 20 minutes for them to complete my whole order when I complained to the manager about why he was taking so long all he could say was "we have a Lotta orders". After he handed me my order and apologized or said anything he just put it on the table and walked away. I understand that these workers may have it hard because they are getting swamped with orders but it still does not take away that you were getting paid customer service. read more

Unfortunately ordered online showed up 10 minutes later then time should have been ready, nothing they are in between shift change one girl says their working on it leaves and nothing keep waiting no one is doing nothing then a rush comes and of course they start helping the rush rather then get the order that was placed 30 minutes earlier then to make matters worse getting ignored when asking how long it'll take and then finally after waiting another 20 minutes they haven't even starting cooking parts of order then get upset when asking for a refund. read more

I stopped by today to get a 2 entree plate. The line was long. As I looked for my extra small coupon I got from eating there on Nov 19 and taking time to review my experience with them I saw it had already expired. About 2 weeks. So I went to manager to see if I could get it anyway because for some reason I thought it was 30 days. He said it was expired. I left. The line was too long and I went somewhere else. My suggestion is if it is in reasonable time it should have been honored. I don't always have an opportunity to go to panda. This makes me spread out the time anymore. It always amazes me when businesses work so hard to get customers in the door but do their best to make them not want to come back. Mcdonalds doesn't have an expiration on their review coupons. From the moment I came through the door the busy server ring the bell and said hello welcome to panda express. he took my order very quickly and offered a sample they were out of chow mein noodles when I first came but he told me there is going to be a few minutes for the noodles. I agreed and proceeded to order 2 my bigger plates with three sides and noodles I got the Beef broccoli ,Kong pow chicken, mushroom chicken, teriyaki chicken, Shanghai steak. After the noodles were ready about five minutes later they called my name I went up and got my food and the young ladies offered me condiments such as sweet-and-sour sauce hot chili sauce.We also got fortune cookies and chopsticks forks and spoons. We did not order any drinks because we had them at home and we ate our food to go. Definitely will return because all the food was fresh and very fast service. read more

Extremely disappointed with this location, I know it's close to closing however they still had 45 minutes! The few entree items they had left were not in the correct spots and the girl who helped us wasn't friendly and seemed like she just couldn't finish fast enough. I asked for a 2 entree plate there was a few pieces left of Beijing beef which is my favorite however she just said so do you just want what's left? It looked sad, and dry .. normally they offer to make a fresh batch and the cooks in the back had just made a TON of teriyaki chicken ? However she didn't offer.. the only option was orange chicken and broccoli beef and the orange chicken was the only item that looked freshly made. I would say they should updated the hours to say until we run out since they don't want to make more food past a certain time, or they should at least tell you prior we only have what is out. The employees in the back were all just talking in the back making no eye contact and 2 girls kept sweeping the same spot to make it seem like they were occupied. I was waiting after we paid to let them know they didn't have any straws outside and no one wanted to help as the girl was now helping the people behind us.. just interesting to me that they have that many employees at night not wanting to do anything. Poor customer service Wasn't greeted upon entrance..I mention that only because the customer who walked in after me was greeted , they seem to never forget to ask if you want to donate or round up your change........Then while my son..who is 4 Is picking a beverage at the ice cooler next to the register, the employee asked" can you move" I guess so the customer before me Paying can now walk behind me to pick up his food.? So do you want us to wait for our food then proceed to the register to pay.. OR pay then tell the customers who are standing in line to " Move " so after the customer pays they can then walk back and pick up their food... I was so excited when this Panda Express opened up so close to home, but man it has to have the worst wait time ever! No lie, every time that I have been here it is a minimum of 10-15 minute wait time?? I don't know if it is a staffing issue or simply because they always run out of food but I cannot give more than a 2 star rating. Fast food chains are built for convenience, not long wait times. The Panda Express downtown on Fresno and "C" street smokes this place; and we are talking some serious high volume of customer downtown Fresno, yet super fast!! The restaurant is hit and miss on the cleanliness, as mentioned before when they first opened it was very tidy, now it's rather a toss up whether it's clean or not. On Sunday 9/27 I ordered the kiddos their favorite Orange chicken with half noodles and pan friend rice and I ordered a teriyaki chicken bowl. The wait time: 12 minutes and the quality of food well: poor - the orange chicken had that old crunchy taste (old) and my chicken breast was rubbery (gross) After driving home and waiting for nearly 15 minutes I decided just to bear and grin it. I had already encounter experiences like this here so shame on me. I can say that the experience/ food is okay, but I have certainly have had better. 2 Stars until my next visit. read more

This place is a relatively new place but my last 2 visits were nothing less than a disappointment, On both occasions, They were out of noodles and fried rice, I can understand if you are running out of entree's but how can you run out of noodles and rice. On one occasion, they overcharge me for spring roll and drink as well, luckily i was able to notice it when I was at counter and they were able to wave it off after some dilema, Surrely they have lot of room for improvement in their operations Best of luck to the team read more

Young Gal with raspy voice says she she cant sell me a small side order unless i order a plate. She can only sell me a medium or large because im not ordering anything else. I'm surprised with the many bad reviews but here is mine in a different perspective. Panda Express is a well known franchise. There are tons all over the place. I have been to many in the Bay Area where I'm from and guess what--they have all been consistent in what some people complain about with this location. The long wait times, food never ready and you have to wait for it to be cooked, some workers skimping portions, etc etc. These things have consistently been issues at all the Panda Express locations I've been to from the Bay Area to here in Fresno. So that means, this location is ON PAR with the rest. So this truly is a Panda Express! And that is why the 4 stars--it is consistent to what I have experienced before at many other Panda Express locations with good positives. Right off the bat I would give all the Panda Express locations I've been to a 2 to 3 stars. Then it's certain things that set them apart to get a better score. Those good positives are the following: The employees here have been mostly helpful and nice. Most times they don't seem all too robotic and give off a genuine sense of wanting to serve me and do it with a smile. They give off positive vibes which really resonate to us--the customers. Next is the location. This is a nice prime location at the El Paseo Marketplace. Very new and clean shopping center/plaza and this Panda both inside and out also matches that. A lot of parking, and inside has a modern feel and for the most part is clean and fully stocked. If you tried Panda before, you tried them all. Some reviews say otherwise, but my experience here with the food is consistent with the rest. It's a franchise--they have to cook it all the same. I have no complaints as it's exactly what I expected and have tried before. Consistency is key. So why the minus 1 star, portion control is still a big issue with all Pandas. Same problem here, some times I get portions I am happy to see because they are plentiful, but then some other times, it seems like I was skimped--but maybe only seemed that way because the previous time I was just given a lot more. So who knows what is the right portion. This is an issue corporate has to resolve. But honestly, with the prices of Panda Express now, I'm leaning for the generous portion as the standard. I will never order from this Panda again, I have ordered many times from them and used Ubereats, the problem is not Ubereats, they have always delivered on time and have been great in their service to me. Today was the forth time this Panda failed me, I spent $57.00 today and again they did not read the notes about Pot sticker sauce and teriyaki sauce, so again we did not get any. This time the pot stickers had burned edges. I have called the store in the past about these issues and they say come in and we will remake or give you the items you requested. I tell them that they should deliver them to me, i paid you and requested them. So today I didn't waste my time with a phone call. This store is incompetent and I will never order from them again! read more

This particular location struggles with adjusting to how much food to cook for the traffic that comes in from the new strip mall where it is located at the Marketplace at El Paseo. I have never had to wait as much or as long as I have at this Panda location. This evening I waited 35 minutes for Orange Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken. Oh and they never have white rice after 9pm. After having several bad experiences, I finally asked to speak to a manager. She stated that they close some of their fryers down close to closing which is 10pm. I told her that does not make sense to do this an hour before closing and I had been there over 30 minutes prior to 9pm. I also advised that they frequently have this issue and other Panda locations do not. She rudely replied, "That I can go somewhere else then!" Of course I was angry at this point and asked to speak to her direct manager and she told me I can call corporate instead. So I have already reported her to Corporate and now they get my lovely yelp review. I am appalled at this service and the lack of skill-set in management at this location. There needs to be better oversight of employees, training, and delivery of customer service at this location. Oh and one last thing, the manager stood back and did not even help her front line staff until there were over 5 groups of customers waiting for food to be cooked and there was a line to the door. I feel bad for front line employees working hard, while their manager sits back with a stink face attitude doing nothing to help out. Plain lazy, rude, and disrespectful both to internal and external customers. read more

The 30 minutes of waiting and all for some nasty food was definitely not worth the $15!! Awful service. Store is packed just over an hour before close. Bathrooms were locked because they cleaned them. Most of the food was empty. They "ran out" of sweet and the other tea, which means they cleaned them and did not want to make more. We will NEVER be back to this location. They have given the chain a bad name. read more

Awful awful food.... I am a huge fan of panda express. Our location in Fontana Ca is very good, very hot tasty food. We went to this location as we are visiting from out of town and oh Lord it was horrible. Our spring rolls were old chewy (not crunchy what so ever), and very cold. Our fried rice was actually uncooked like the peas and most of the rice were hard still as if they were frozen still (why the peas would not be fresh beats me). The chow mein was very cold and bland. We threw away almost all of our food. Never never again will we eat here when coming up here for our yearly trip. read more
