Good but need stronger bags :( it made me sad because I was gonna eat a ton of fries and then watch Netflix but the bag ripped when I got out of the car which makes me wanna cry but it's fine They're good tho, the reason I'm sad is bc the fries were really good Ok yeah Sad

I have never gone to a Five Guys before this and I didn't know what I was in for. (This isn't a bad thing, I just walked in as an innocent who thought five guys had burgers) The menu is short and to the point. The variety of toppings that come with the burgers (no extra charge) was awesome. And (confession) I ordered the largest of burger and fries, not knowing what I was getting into. I enjoyed the experience of waiting and eating peanuts. The person I came with and I thought we might have to take it to go, since there was no table space but while waiting, a table cleared out. I would definitely recommend this experience.

Cherry Mello Yellow. Peanuts. Reg fries. Bacon double all the way.

We started with the Chicken Marsala Stuffed Mushrooms, which were packed with rich, savory flavor. I ordered the 'Shroomy Grilled Cheese, and it was next-level comfort food; gooey, earthy, and perfectly balanced. My husband and aunt both had the New School Smash Burger, and they couldn't stop raving about it. Every dish was bursting with flavor and truly "to die for." Our server, David, made the night even better. He was attentive, upbeat, and genuinely kind; an overall great spirit with a fantastic attitude who elevated the entire dining experience. David even brought us some of their popcorn, which was so delicious and such a fun extra touch. We loved the food, we loved the service, and we will definitely be back; highly recommend.

My sever Lilly was very friendly until I responded HONESTLY to her question, "How was everything?" I did respond politely.... I did expect a Manager to come to the table but that did not happen. I guess it was My Fault for ordering a $65 skirt steak without knowing the size (no more than 6 ounces). I did ask my waitress if it was a big piece of meat; Her response was, "It is for me" or something like that. I would say a fair PRICE for this DISH would me $40. It was tasty but not certainly not worth $65; Unless it had double the meat. We sat outdoors, which was very nice and will certainly be back to do it again! Chomp is one of those Providence restaurants that I keep finding myself coming back to, even after…read moretelling myself I should probably try something else on the menu. I've eaten my way through quite a few things here over the years, and while there are plenty of good choices, I keep coming back to the Smokey and the Bandit smash burger. At this point, I probably know what I'm ordering before I even sit down. There's just something about that combination that keeps winning. The food here is consistently good. Everything I've had has been fresh, hot, and full of flavor, and the kitchen seems to have that part figured out without making a big production of it. The menu has enough variety that you can come in with different appetites and still find something you want, but it doesn't feel like one of those places with a menu the size of a small novel where you need twenty minutes just to decide what you're looking at. The beer selection is another reason I enjoy Chomp. There's enough variety to make choosing a beer part of the experience rather than simply grabbing whatever happens to be on tap. Prices are also pretty reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, which is increasingly something I notice because restaurant prices have a funny way of creeping upward when you're not paying attention. The location is another part of the appeal. Chomp sits in a great little part of Providence where you can easily make an evening out of being in the neighborhood. There are plenty of other restaurants, shops, and places to wander around nearby, so it doesn't feel like you're making a special trip just to eat and then immediately getting back in the car. Tonight, though, I have to give a special shout-out to Bella, who was our server. She was outstanding. Friendly, personable, attentive without hovering, and genuinely helpful. She suggested adding bacon to my Smokey and the Bandit, which I probably wouldn't have thought to do on my own. I'm very glad she mentioned it because it was an excellent call. Sometimes the best recommendations are the simple ones, and she nailed it. One piece of advice if you're planning on coming here: make a reservation if you can. Chomp can fill up quickly, and given how good the food is, that really shouldn't come as much of a surprise. It's the kind of restaurant where people come back because they already know they're going to have a good meal, and I'm certainly part of that group. Five stars from me. Great food, good beer, reasonable prices, a fantastic Providence location, and genuinely good service. I've tried enough of the menu over the years to know that Chomp has plenty of options, but apparently I'm still incapable of walking through the door without ordering that Smokey and the Bandit. Add Bella's bacon recommendation to the list of reasons I'm going to keep coming back.

That aside, we ordered several varieties of wings, a couple different burgers and sandwiches, and a salad. The wings were OK, but about as dry as could be, almost inedible. The burgers were just eh. Both the Smash Burger and House Burger were decently cooked but greasy with little flavor. The Smokey Melt was a little more flavorful but really heavy and greasy. The worst item by far was the Caesar Salad. Honestly it looked like someone sliced up lettuce like you would for a sub sandwich, or used a 1990s Salad Shooter, and threw it in a styrofoam dish. It didn't even resemble a salad I'd avoid this place.

This spot happens to be on my way home from the office and I'm glad I stopped in. Overall the place is small, with both table dining and bar seating. My friend and I chose to sit at the bar. Meaghan was our bartender. Friendly and informative, she really knew the menu. I got garlic teriyaki wings, my friend got a double order of plain and we shared a pepperoni, half black olive pizza. The wings were huge and juicy. The sauce was so good, and they did a great job of coating the wings in a way that they were well covered but the sauce wasn't dripping off. The pizza was better than average. I had heard it described as bar pie in the local pizza Facebook group but that isn't accurate. It's got the thickness of a Greek style pizza but not baked in a pan. The pizza sauce has a nice tang to it that I prefer. It very easy to eat. Initially I thought I would be taking some pizza home for lunch the next day but before I knew it, I had polished off the wings and 6/8 of the pizza. My only criticism of the pie is I'm a stickler for a proper half and half split and the olives were on a majority of the pie instead of only half. I finished with a Snicker inspired drink created by our bartender. It's butterscotch forward in flavor and is decidedly a dessert drink. It was a lovely sweet treat to finish the meal. What I love most about the Food Fight events is having the opportunity to discover small spots like this one. Having a place to hide away from traffic on the way home from work is clutch, so I will be back sooner rather than later. I'm looking forward to the next time I stop by!

Not soft and mushy but crispy great flavor and the sweet chili sauce was not over powering. The bartender was super friendly and gave us some recs as well. I would drive the hour again to this spot.

The vanilla coke was also so amazing; I believe they use vanilla bean for both the soft serve and vanilla coke which made the flavors so rich and delicious. The workers are also so kind and inviting which made the overall experience even better. I also loved the restaurants decor; it's super cozy and screams community honestly. My favorite part was that they had a board with meals that were prepaid for, so people who can't afford meals can come here and get one. This spot is seriously the epitome of community, and the fact that the food and drinks are DELICIOUS makes it even more great. I highly recommend (-:

Immediately greeted with a great smile the second I came through the door but wasn't rushed to order. Menu is clearly printed on the wall. Inside is quaint with modern chic decor. There's a few TVs for dine in customers. Got takeout (hence no photos) but ate right away in the car. Burger was cooked perfectly and juicy, toppings were fresh and the sesame seed bun was classic American in both flavor and style. The hand cut fries and onion rings were both fried to perfection, and I am typically not a fan of fried food. They did get a little limp with time so I do suggest eating them right away and ketchup was a great addition to the fries. Definitely a place I would run back to!

We had a small order of onion rings as a side for a regular order of sweet potato fries plus water and soda. The food was delicious and Weil prepared with a lot of thought into the ingredients. It was obvious that the burger and turkey burger were handmade from ground meat. I asked for my burger to be medium, and it came out well done. Otherwise, the food was very good. The reason this is a four star not five is the price that we paid. The meal plus a small seven dollar tip came out to almost $60. Way too much for this type of food for two people. While we enjoyed the food significantly, the price may be a deterrent for future visits.
