I finally got to try five guys burgers this weekend. I have had this on my want list for many years and finally decided to say hey let's go ahead and give it a shot. So I got a double cheeseburger with pickles mustard mayo and lettuce. And it was a dang good burger I must say. It was eight dollars and something just for the burger so I was a little disappointed the price as well as keeping it for me on five but the taste all day was a five.

Not sure how we didn't already have a review for this one. Placed an online order for curbside pick up during covid. Arrived a few minutes before time. The store was surprisingly very busy. They were taking walk in orders. Called like instructions stated. Young lady said it would be an additional 10 minutes. Normally I wouldn't have understood why it wasn't ready. Being parked on the side I could see all the action. Also there was music playing loudly outside so I was jamming while watching everyone inside bust butt. They didn't stop working the entire time. Right at about 10 minutes a young lady brought my food out. She was very sweet. Pulled out the parking lot and started to munch on my Cajun fries. I don't think I've ever ordered them before. They were hot and fresh. So freaking delicious. Every once in awhile I'd get one with tons of seasoning they were so good I didn't even check my burger just drove home. Of course my burger was done exactly the way I ordered it. It was really good. Nothing was left over. I think the prices are a little high, and that prevents us from frequenting as much as we would other places. But even with that said we will be back again maybe in the summer when we can sit out side at the the tables.

This was a treat ourselves trip to Five Guys. It's been awhile (pre-covid) since we came here. We already what we wanted a single patty bacon cheeseburger burgers (a little) and a little bacon burger with large Cajun fries and a bacon peanut butter milkshake and Oreo peanut butter milkshake. They were a bit busy so it took a minute for someone to take our order and pay. It was Togo so we just waited inside. While we waited we looked at some new updates. So soda machine has the QR code that you can scan on your phone to select your drink options and even pour it so you don't have touch the screen on the machine! But after looking at that our food still wasn't ready. It took at least 15-20 mins which we expected! They were really busy for a five man crew and they had a system down and were trying to get everything out as fast as they can. They were on order 6 and we were order 11. Once our order was ready, we had to wait for our milkshake to be made but it's only took a couple of well worth it mins. We can smell the Cajun dust from the fries, couldn't wait to get to the car. The burger were still hot and made exactly how we wanted and the milkshakes were delicious and nice and thick. The Cajun fries were good, they don't joke about the Cajun dust or the size. Definitely worth the $29 & some change price.

Not a huge fan of the burgers to be honest. Prices are steep for being a dine in restaurant with no waiters or waitress. They do offer the unique free peanuts so that does make them different and stand out. I've tried to like this place but just can't. To top it off my most recent trip the customer service was atrocious. You could tell the young lady did not want to be there and showed the speaking ability of an child in diapers. Mainly communicated with head nods and shoulder shrugs.

I couldn't remember the last time I had ate at a Five Guys. Rumbling tummy, check! Traveling down outer loop, check! In the mood for a burger, score! Parking is plentiful and COVID precautions are in full effect. You are allowed to dine in, with social distancing measures in place. Unless your appetite is huge, I'd suggest ordering the little size as a regular may be too filling. There are multiple options as far as how you can fix up your burger. I always go for the little bacon cheeseburger dressed all the way, and little Cajun Fries. Meal prep overall took around 15minutes. Upon receiving my order, food was hot and fresh and ready to be devoured. Side note, if ordering a drink, keep in mind to ask for a new cup if needing a refill. Back to the burger, I was very impressed. My burger was hot, fresh, and flavorful. My fries, were fried to perfection and seasoned properly. Overall, appetite satisfied and belly full. I definitely suggest if you're looking for a tasty burger!

If you ever wonder why it takes 40 mins to get a burger then wait another 20mins to get a milkshake, it's because you got 2 people in the front trying to take orders, make burgers, fries, milkshakes while the rest of the employees are in the back of the building fighting and bullshiting.

Burgers fries dogs milk shake. Period. Love the concept of simple menus. The cheeseburger was a double with mayo lettuce tomato pickles raw onion. Perfect. Just perfect. Fries were plentiful. Too many to eat honestly. About $12. Worth it because the beef tasted strangely like beef and was very juicy. I think of the restaurants the serve $10-$15 burgers and how they can not measure up to this. Fries were crispy on outside and creamy on inside... and a large amount in the "small" order! I'll be back for a better burger and great fries!

I really, really want to like this chain but each time I've been here - it's been mediocre at best. I'm just not a fan. The burgers are ok but I don't like the fact that it seems the cheese is thrown on right before the burger is wrapped up. I like my cheese to be somewhat melted. I do like that I can customize my burger and the list of toppings is right at the register. The spice on the fries is ok. I would love it if ranch was a dip option (I love my fries with some ranch!). Overall, for the price, I'm just not impressed.

I guess I was expecting more from this place?? I've wanted to stop by for awhile now, and finally decided to. The restaurant was very clean, and we came at opening (11am on a Sunday) and we were the only ones there. The employee did not seem like he wanted to be there at all, but did help us understand the ordering process. For two burgers, and two fries with a bottle of water it was $25.I feel like that a lot, especially for average burgers. I probably won't return.

Located close to the Jefferson Mall, this Five Guys location is a great stop-in for lunch or dinner. I took a friend who'd never had Five Guys before and hyped it up, to which he later thanked me as he realized I hadn't fabricated my excitement. Their burgers are thick and filling, and with unlimited toppings, who couldn't enjoy a hefty bite? Their fries are also flavorful, washed down with a variety of sodas from their remix machine. The dining room operates with social distancing in mind, as every other table wasn't available for seating. The staff were also fully masked, and you could tell the camaraderie was strong as they all got along well.

Burgers are great, service is quick. Get a little fry because they always give you a large portion. Little pricey for burgers.

I had no idea the veggie burger was the one featured on the show, so as a vegetarian, I was especially excited to try it. I swapped the veggie patty onto the Mushroom & Swiss burger, and it was hands down the best veggie burger I've had in the decade I've been vegetarian. Our group all ordered different burgers, along with the fries and Brussels sprouts, and every single plate was a hit. They have super unique sauces to try as well, I am not a huge pickle fan but the dill pickle hot sauce was my personal favorite. I also recommend grabbing a brown butter toffee cookie on your way out. The restaurant has a fun, laid-back atmosphere with great music, colorful murals, a lively bar area, and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives playing on the TVs, which was a nice touch. It's also located in a cute part of downtown Louisville that's worth exploring. The service matched the food. Everyone was welcoming, happy to answer our questions, and made sure we had everything we needed. This will definitely be on my list for a return visit the next time I'm in Louisville.

I enjoyed their kale salad mixed with toppings. My partner order the burger and that was delicious, their patty is thin which I prefer for burgers & they had a spicy mayo and smoked ketchup which paired well with both entrees! definitely has a kick to it! I would love to eat here again & try other items on the menu, I definitely want to give the Cuban sandwich a try.

Instead of the usual fries, you can choose from a salad, fruit cup, edamame, and other fresh sides, which is a nice change. My friend ordered the mushroom and cheese burger, and it was packed with mushrooms and melted cheese in every bite. I had the crispy chicken sandwich, and it was perfectly crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. Drink refills are free, which is always appreciated. The only small inconvenience is that you have to ask an employee for a refill since the drink station isn't easily accessible. It would be even more convenient if the drink machine were located in an area where customers could refill their own drinks. Overall, the food, value, and service make this an easy 5-star experience. I'll definitely be back!

I highly recommend the honey mustard, but they have other sauces, including ranch and Jaggers sauce. For awareness, you'll get two containers of sauce, so extra sauce means three or more containers. I almost always use the mobile app to make an order, but the one time I ordered for takeout at the counter, it took less than two minutes for my salad to be ready, bagged, and on the counter. There is drive thru where a person with an ordering pad will take your order before you go around to the collection window. I warn you, there is always a long line for pickup so ordering ahead for takeout or going inside to order may be quicker.

I went with the Death Penalty to chase a little heat, although the name is more menacing than the bit. This isn't a mouth scorching, heartburn inducing culinary dare, but quite simply a perfectly delivered burger with toppings that work well together to deliver a robust flavor with a nice touch of heat. Being my first time in Kentucky I asked for a recommendation for a nice shot of bourbon to sip while I waited for my meal, with the caveats that I'd like for it to be from a lesser known, small distiller and under $25 for the drink. He delivered with a shot of Minor Case Straight Rye Whiskey that has a sherry cask finish from Limestone Branch Distillery. It was smooth with no bite and a nice linger. Three solid hits between the burger, bourbon and bartender - would definitely recommend.

Wife ordered a mango margarita and doesn't like a lot of tequila, so Kylie went half and gave her a shot on the side in case she wanted to add more. It was wonderful. I had a couple of beers. We started with the fried mushrooms, which aren't what you would expect. It's two large portobellos cut into chunks, battered, fried, and served with sun-dried tomato mayo. They were great. I then ordered a duck taco, brisket taco, and a side of Grippo Fries with smoked mayo. I'd never tried duck but that taco was smack-a-lackin'. The brisket taco was also good, and the fries were fantastic - sweet and spicy, fresh cut, and crispy. Wife ordered a pork belly slider and truffle fries. She enjoyed the slider but didn't care for the fries - just not her thing. The portions here are large. A side of fries will feed three people. We took a hefty portion of them home, as well as some of the mushrooms. We could've sat there at the bar and spent 3 hours socializing and enjoying a smattering of cocktails - love the setting. Look forward to going back and trying one of the burgers at some point.
