I really like 5 guys. Anywhere that they expect you to customize your burger especially with toppings besides just typical lettuce and tomato I generally like. My typical order is a cheeseburger (which is a double, if you want a single that's the little cheeseburger) with lettuce, pickles, onions, mustard, mayo and jalapeños. Sometimes I get the jalapeños grilled and sometimes not. They're fresh jalapeños just as an FYI which have a pretty different flavor from your typical pickled jalapeños you find most places. I might prefer the pickled variety to be honest because they're usually a little bit spicier but both are good. They also have things such as sautéed onions and mushrooms, sauces like tobasco and A1 and even bbq so that you can make just about any sort of burger your heart desires. If you're watching carbs you can get your burger in a little tub that so that you can eat it with a fork and knife. They also have two options for their fries. Regular and Cajun style and both are good but I love the Cajun style. I always get the small unless my husband and I are sharing and then we get the large because he is a fry hoover. This most recent visit we also tried their milkshakes and my husband liked his peanut butter shake but my chocolate shake was way too sweet for my liking. I guess the chocolate syrup is just too sugary for me. At least I know for next time. Really the only reason I give four stars instead of five is the price. It's really expensive for burgers and fries. Two burgers, two small fries (instead of one large because we got one Cajun and one regular) and two shakes was $35. For take out that's a lot and everything there is basically take out since you pick it up at the counter in a to go bag even if you're dining in. Don't get me wrong I expect to pay more that I would at say McDonald's since the food is much better but three to four times as much is a lot. Oh and I also would expect that anywhere that serves burgers and fries would also be kid friendly but really when there isn't a kids menu and I have to get the little cheeseburger at more that $5.00 for just the burger for one kid and a hot dog for more that $5.00 for the other kid which she won't even eat because it's cut in half and kids are weird about food it definitely makes this not a place I'm likely to bring my kids too often. read more

I stopped in here because it was fast with me out Christmas shopping, it was VERY hot inside there. I did not wait for long in which that was good employees was friendly. My food came out real fast. My burger was VERY greasy in which was not good. But other then that it was good. I think it's a very small place, they should of made it bigger with the area it is in. read more

When i came in and brought my entire order back that I hadn't ate and asked for refund because I didn't like how she treated me over the phone, refused to give full refund because there was only a problem with the burger although my fries were in the bag and I hadn't ate them either and she threw them away... Wow has this place gone downhill we loved Five Guys but what a disappointment tonight was. First off it took 22 minutes to get our food but they were a little busy so we were ok with it. We were in town for my sister's wedding and ordered dinner one night from this Five Guys. I ordered and paid via Grub Hub. When my husband picked it up, they told him it wasn't paid for so he paid again. When he got back to our hotel, the order was missing one burger. I told him to call the manager about a refund since we paid twice (and didn't even get all our food). The manager, Jacob, told him to call GrubHub for a refund. So now I'm spending my time trying to get a refund for mediocre burgers, once of which I didn't even receive. read more

I know Five Guys is a chain and I couldn't care less because these burgers are dope! I never knew that a well done burger could be so...well done (sorry!) but they really are. They are cheesy and with all of the toppings to chose from, you can create your own lovely burger. Personally, I go with mayo, grilled onions, jalapenos, and A1. We always love Five Guys, but I was very impressed with this particular location. I have a dairy allergy, and stated I could not eat the bun and inquired about alternative options (bunless and lettuce wrapped). The cashier took my statement very seriously and recited my order back to me to ensure it was safe. I then heard the employees on the line talking about using a separate spatula because it's "always better safe than sorry." For someone whose options are limited, and because dining out can be cumbersome and embarrassing, this Five Guys was amazing. read more

I gotta say that eating at this place was a little underwhelming. The menu is simple. However, I don't think they can pull the simple menu off as well as a place like In-n-out burger can. Maybe I would have had a better dining experience if I had had a burger to eat instead of a veggie sandwich? Possibly. The sandwich I ordered came with mushrooms, onions, green bell peppers, lettuce, and tomato. No seasoning, no condiments. I added some jalapeños. For what you spend at this place, I think they should have waaaay more toppings and condiments. My sandwich also came on the same sesame seed burger bun that the hamburgers came on. Overall, I was unimpressed with this 'veggie sandwich'. I realize that it is a burger place, but a veggie burger patty might have gone over a little better. I was also hoping they might have turkey burgers or some kind of chicken sandwich. Nope. I'm just saying...either offer decent options other than cheeseburgers or don't. Five guys is somewhere in between. I will say that the employees I encountered were friendly and they had free peanuts and one of those awesome Coke machines where you can customize your drink with different flavors. The fries were also pretty good (but they were definitely not up to par with penn station fries). However, I probably won't return. Wow! Had lunch here today. Very casual one open room. You place your order then pay then pick up at counter when ready. I got basic cheeseburger $6.99. It is a double burger cooked well done. All toppings are free. It was excellent! Hot and fresh. Also got small order of original fries. $2.79. Was generous serving also hot and fresh. Very satisfied customer. Really good burgers made to order with a variety of toppings. Great French fries - the regular size is HUGE. We share One regular size with my family of four! I got a burger with BBQ sources added, though it was hard to tell that any BBQ was actually added. I had to peal back the bun and visually o spect to see if it was there, albeit a tiny smattering of sauce. My son got a cheeseburger with bacon - the bacon was nice and crispy and plentiful. I've been here twice and the staff both times were friendly but slightly awkward when you ask for help or suggestions (like they don't talk to people very often...?). The wait time for your food is a bit long (based on both my visits). However, the free peanuts helps to hold off any hangry feelings that you might be getting. On both visits, I had I clean off a table. Side it takes a while for the food, this gave me something to do (besides ripping peanuts from their shells), however it might be a nice gesture is the staff cleaned off the tables instead. Overall, it was a good burger and really good fries. The atmosphere is a bit stark. I like that they have two of those Coca Cola machines (because we all know how long it takes for people to make a selection on those things!). I feel that it is a bit expensive for what it is. I've been a five guys fan for years, normally make the 35 minute drive to the locations in IN for last few years was thrilled to see them open on closer to me. Was there on opening day. Typical great service, good food large portions. Next visit noticed we had ordered 1 large fry and 2 regular fries and there was only 3 regular fry cups in bag, and no bag fries like all the other locations I've been to in multiple states. Ok no biggie really don't need that much French fries. Flash forward to today me and a coworker each got a burger he wanted a large fry I wanted a regular. We get our order and there is 1 fry cup in the bag and its a regular. Now granted it was enough we split it, but if they are going to keep charging for items and not putting in the bag my next trip will be my LAST to this location. At 34 dollars for lunch for 2 people they can at least get the order correct. Or not charge 4+ dollars for an order of fries. Oh and since we were sitting at the table by the counter and we're discussing it throughout the meal perhaps someone should have asked. The manager didn't even make rounds or have a employee makes rounds while we were there which once again is unlike ANY other five guys I've ever been to. read more
