I am a fan. I rarely eat cheeseburgers, however, having tasted the regular cheeseburger, it reminded me of a home cooked cheeseburger I would bbq in my own backyard. I would give the cajun fries 5 stars. Only reason I gave four stars overall was because I waited over 20 minutes to receive my food. They were busy, but seemed disorganized while I stood at the counter waiting. With that being said 5 guys will be my burger joint of choice should I get another craving for a cheeseburger. Awesome! The burgers were great made properly. The assembly was perfect, not all misaligned like other places. I would prefer a blanched fry but these homestyle were good. Awesome Burgers!! Love the Cajun Fries. I eat here as often as my belt will let me. Double meat with the entire line up of extras suits me just fine. When going with friends make the mistake of everyone ordering a large fry and see a grocery bag of french fries appear that even we could not eat all of them. That's right, split a large fry for 2 and be happy. We tried to order from the website for 12 after church one Sunday and the order got lost. The manager put our order to the head of the line, which was very long, and we got our burgs pretty quick considering. The peanuts are a good touch too. You need to try this right now. A very satisfying burger and fries joint. The toppings selections for the burgers include fresh, unpickled jalapenos which is a plus. Other toppings include cooked or uncooked onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, and others, all at no additional charge. The fries are priced right for the quantity you get and for the type of restaurant Five Guys is. Excellent pricing and atmosphere. The quality of meat is very good as well. They also have hot dogs, though in many visits I and no one I've seen have had one. This is a great location as well, and since the other Five Guys is north in the Costco plaza in Smokey Point/Marysville I'm guessing they do their homework in choosing locations that are friendly towards building loyal customers. Really? Why does everyone talk about your food? Why does all my friends eat here? (Well, the one you have in Renton). I had to try it for myself. I have walked out couple of times because I didn't want to pay the price. Finally I gave in and tried it. You walk in and it's pretty busy. It's clean. Good customer service. Free peanuts while you wait is a neat idea but it's not like your a sports bar/steak house so whats the deal? It didn't take long for the food to be ready. They carry my favorite brand of Iced tea too. The food was between good and ok. Fries were bland and kinda dry. Food was pretty greasy though. Oh wait, thats peanut oil you fry your food with and thats why you charge so much. I will probably not eat here again unless I get dragged here by my friends. Sorry! read more

Really good burgers, with FRESH toppings! It's not the heaven on earth some people think it is, but it is definitely a cut above the rest! The jalapenos are fresh- not the pickled, emasculated things other burger places will throw at you. The heat in these puppies is great! The fries have good days and bad days- but they are always big chunks of actual potato! Unlike certain other chains, the oil does not comprise the majority of the french fry- which give you a big, satisfying fry, but some days they don't fry them quite long enough, which leaves you with a slightly soggy seeming result. And they give you a TON of fries! Two people can easily split a small order of fries! Not perfect, but really good food, at reasonable prices. read more

Best burgers in lynnwood now that redline burger co has closed down. The prices can be a bit much since everything is served seperately, no combo meals here. The burgers are juicy and delicious, and have a bunch of toppings that are pretty unique like jalapenos and a-1 cooked with the burger. I love the fries and especially how after they are done filling up your cup of fries they just dump another scoop right on top into the bag. 5-star yelp dining for sure and the burger is worth the experience read more

Food is lovely, I like the red and white 50s theme, but my favorite part of this restaurant is that if you yell "Five guys-" the employees will yell "-Burgers and Fries" it's truly something. it's also very fun for the children haha. be aware of the peanuts occupying the middle of the room, for allergies and whatnot. read more

I called a few weeks ahead to find out when they're less busy day was. I was told Monday is the best day. I called yesterday morning to alert them that I was bringing in a party of 7. Spoke with the assistant manager and he said that they would set aside some tables so that we can all sit together. When I got there it was as he said. Table set together they were ready willing and able to wait on us. Everyone behind the counter was friendly and very patient with my group. They were extra helpful I feel. My group did not mind waiting the extra minutes for a hot off the grill made to order burger. Some ordered the milkshakes which they raved about. They were in shock when they receive their french fries because they were expecting a small portion only to discover that they got quite a bit more. This was such a great experience for me and my group. We go out as a group once a month. I can honestly say that we will come back to Five Guys burger again just because they were so hospitable. read more

One of the best burgers I ever had. The beef tasted like beef, fresh and seemed to have a lower fat amount. The beef patty is a good size and the service is fast. FAST FOOD with quality taste. The fries are 100% better then from fast food chains. The system of ordering your burger with whatever you ask for seems to work 100%. The price is a little high but you get quality and good service in return. I recommend you give this a try and you will not return to other fast food burger chains. read more

Truly an awful experience all around. We tried to order online, the order wouldn't go through after multiple attempts we decided to order inside. The girl taking our order was slow (four people in front of us took 20 minutes to get to our turn) while ordering she missed several things which we immediately corrected. I have never even seen a burger that was this soggy. It's like the bun was soaked in water. Also I was under the impression that grilled jalapenos would be... grilled. Also I was under the impression that my bacon burger would have bacon. Apparently I shouldn't have assumed. Also I had two patties, one that resembled a round shaped patty, the other was extremely narrow (half the size of the other patty) this made eating the burger a nightmare. Light mayo needs to be redefined in your store. It was like eating a slip and slide, the excess mayo and half patty made the burger impossible to enjoy, just a mess. I threw away about 20$ worth of food by the end of it. The fries are a greasy mess, soggy as all hell. Cajun and regular came out the same. No need to dip them though, the grease dripping off of them should be more than enough to substitute for ketchup. The milkshake however was delightful and earned the only star in this review. I will likely never hate myself enough to eat here again. The fact that there is so many Five Guys in the country forces me to believe that this specific Five Guys is far below par. A dumpster fire of a restaurant that charges far more than their inedible trash could possibly be worth. I will make the longer drive to shake N go or McDonald's from here on out. I can't believe this place is still in business. If you're thinking about giving this embarrassing copy of In N Out a chance I'd suggest you buy a plane ticket to Cali instead. I went there for a 2nd time after about six months the first time thinking this time would be better than the first. I am not a fan of these burgers or the fries. So the new Five Guys Burgers on 164th, I went last week with my family to try it out and check out all the hype, while the wait was long, we knew what we looking at when we walked in so that wasn't a big deal so much. The food was good, service typical of a fast food place. Tonight, I was at work my boss and I decided to get 5 guys as its pretty close to work, I called in my order, went to pick it up waited for about 15 minutes to pay for it, ok then a half an hour had passed before I finally went to the counter to ask about my order, they were quick to act on it and give me my order. Brought it back to work, my boss' burger had 1 cooked patty and 1 raw patty, neither burger had bacon on it even though I had paid for it. I don't normally complain too much about places like this but thought I would give them a call. Called and spoke with a "manager" who never provided his name, explained my experience, the waiting after calling in, the raw patty, neither had bacon, his response "we have new cooks still learning, sorry you had your experience and I hope next time you come in it will be a better experience for you." While I understand its new, very busy, etc. I don't expect excuses, and after being served a raw patty...my boss and I have already discussed if he does of Ecoli, me making sure his family gets a share of the five guys biz. Just finished my first 5 guys burger and so I write this with a fresh sense of what I just had. First off, I dont eat burgers very often and when I do its the franchise fast food variety when Im strapped for time and just need a $1 burger in the gut. So this place is a..., well I guess its a franchise as well, but put out more quality stuff and is not on every corner (at least not yet). The wait was long as expected, thanks yelp for the heads up. Getting through the line is easy, waiting for your food is what takes 30mins. We got couple burgers w/ everything on it and some fries. This was probably the best hamburger I have ever eaten. The beef was just superb, thick,juicy and full of flavor. All the toppings were awesome as well. The fries were loaded in there and tasted just fine. The price is a little high, but the quality is there so its justifiable. Im glad this place is not right now the street or I'd be there everyday and it will nullify all my workouts and I dont want a pot belly, thats for when Im older. read more

Wish I could rate this place better since the food is actually pretty good - the service however is awful. Do not order ahead on the Internet. It will not save you time - it actually seems to cause it to take even longer. Internet orders get pushed to the side and forgotten about. I checked in at the register - got my receipt printed and was given an order number (for the food I had already paid for online) and was told to wait until they called me. I sat and waited as orders behind me were called. Finally after 30 minutes I go and ask where my order is. They noticed my food had just been sitting on top of a counter and told me to wait for fresh fries-- by now my burgers were completely soggy and disgusting. I asked for new burgers which I was given- but I will definitely think twice before stopping here again - who has time for this? If I hadn't asked for them to remedy the situation- they would've let me leave with cold soggy food. read more

As far as I'm concerned, Five Guys is the new gold standard for fast food chain burgers. Like most burger afficanodos in the Seattle area, I'm a big fan of Dick's burgers, and I like In-and-out as well. But unlike both of those chains, customizing your burger to make it just the way you want is quick and easy. Now I can get an excllent burger just the way I want it (with jalapenos and hot sauce)! I'd say their fries are one of the best around, except it is really unhealthy (Yahoo! recently spotlighted exactly how unhealthy it was and believe me, if you order a large fries, split with at least 3 other people). Busy place if you come in during lunch hour, so try and get there before then to get a table. Ordered a mushroom burger with bacon and swiss cheese - you get to pick the toppings (relish, mustard, grilled or raw onions, ketchup, bbq sauce etc.) medium fries and drink, all came to around $9.50. The burger wasn't bad - but wasn't great either, i was really impressed with the fries! Very fresh and crisp (skin still on) and they give you generous portions, the medium is enough for two people! They also have shelled peanuts in a big bin with a scoop and disposible cups for you to eat while waiting on your order- a nice touch. This is a cardiac inducing place so i will only visit once in a while. I did order a hot dog with bacon the second time and i enjoyed it more than the burger. i still rate In/Out burger the best fast food burger joint - just wish they can open a franchise here in Washington soon! read more

Yummy ! I am very picky about my burgers, and I was very satisfied with their product. Just lettuce and pickles, just like I asked for, with very nice crispy bacon. The fries were good, especially the Cajun fries, but very large serving !! Definately can share even a small order. I felt bad throwing so much away cuz I couldn't finish . I heard about the good fries, and burgers from this place. But after experience it for the first time and my last, I won't be going back. The fries are very greasy and the burgers was very wet running like water. Free peanuts are good while you wait. Looking at all the signs inside make you think that this is the best burger since burgers were invented. I only wished that was so. I believed the hype and was slightly disappointed. While the burger was good. I wouldn't get cheese on it. not the best kind, doesn't add good flavor. Also their fries were verrry salty and also werent cooked enough for me. Little less salt and cooked for a litttttle longer would of been much better! good amount for the price but not as good (or cheap) as redline fries. The meat in the burger was great tho so once they slow down from their opening week (or month) it should be very good. Bacon was very good but still not the best ever. waiting to try their cajun fries. Bottom line this place is good but don't go in expecting a revelation or you'll leave slightly disappointed.
