My review..My opinion.IJS... Went back to 5Guys been a couple years. Wanted to see if that flavor had come back.. no...It was ok burger, not as much flavor as the first time I tasted, cheese had not melted, a lot of mayo.. Fries were good but not great. The top had fresh fries, the bottom had old fries. I gave a 4 because it was just ok, but not finger linkin good!! I'm looking for that famous slab somebody burger..My review..My opinion..IJS

We came in around 9:30 PM to get a burger patty for our dog. It was close to closing time, so I was surprised to see others still ordering and waiting. We ordered the burger patty ($2.00) and decided to get a couple fries for ourselves too... and wow, $7.79 for a large fries? Kind of ridiculous in price, but we still ordered two. The fries were two large cups and the employee filled up half the bag for us too. We ended up waiting about 15 to 20 minutes... for just a single burger patty and two fries... Overall... it was a long wait, expensive food, and we ended up needing to air fry the fries when we got home because they were just too soggy. The customer service was great and the girl packing all the takeout bags was very friendly... Despite the nice employee, it was just not a fun experience.

I normally love five guys but lately it's just been bad. Soggy and over salted fries. Today was the last time going when I was given my burger with burnt and disgusting bacon.

Patty was sooo bland, could use more seasoning. Cajun fries on the other hand was over seasoned.

The chicken is as good as it gets, perfect batter and execution. The fries, however, were the polar opposite. Undercooked, limp, hard to believe the contrast between the chicken and this mess that I couldn't eat after the first few bites. This is the suggestion part: Be sure the cooks know how to shake the basket and recognize when the regular fries are properly cooked and crisp. I read a lot of other reviews saying they had issues with the fries also. My second trip was via drive-thru and I ordered the amazing pastrami burger. Just incredible, really. I get why they're popular. Based on the first time I decided to try the curly fries to see if it would be a better outcome. It was, fortunately, and I think this is what I'll get henceforth, or onion rings, which are still untried. Anyhow, the girl at the window forgot to give me the drink and I'm still wondering how my bill reached $22, but I'll ask specifically next for the receipt and breakdown. Four stars for now with reservations.

I love a good pastrami sandwich that is generously filled with meat, so I was looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, what arrived at the table was extremely disappointing. The sandwich was so thin that it looked more like something you would pick up from a gas station than what you would expect from a restaurant. For the price and the way it was presented on the menu, I expected a much fuller and more satisfying sandwich. The flavor may have been fine, but the portion did not come close to meeting expectations. I hope management takes a look at the portion size because customers ordering a pastrami sandwich should feel like they are getting what they paid for.

I hope they grow and open more locations. My husband and I just drove an hour to get to the Riverside location. We're only able to come once a month because it's so far away. We would hit it once a month if it were closer, maybe more than once a month. Service is always great at this location. They have stickers and buttons available. The seating is bar stools at a counter inside the food lab. The food is amazing! It's always perfectly made and it hits the spot when we miss the Monty's plant-based chicken. The burgers are good. The char-grilled burgers were cooked perfectly--juicy, flavorful, and loaded with fresh toppings. When we walked in, the lady at the bar simply told us, "You can sit anywhere you want." No greeting, no explanation of how ordering works, and no one came by to check on us. We sat down and waited, assuming someone would eventually take our order. After at least 20 minutes, I finally got up and asked the lady at the bar if someone was going to take our order. That's when we were told that we needed to order at the front and that drinks were ordered at the bar. As a first-time customer, this was frustrating. A quick explanation when we walked in would have saved us a lot of confusion and waiting. We eventually went to the front to order, but the communication continued to be an issue. We ordered sodas, but no one explained where we were supposed to pick them up. When our food finally arrived, we asked about our drinks and were told they were at the bar. Again, something that could have easily been communicated upfront. Unfortunately, the food itself didn't make up for the experience. The hamburger was burned, especially the bun, and the chicken wings were small and dry. We were hoping for a much better first impression. I always try to give new places a fair chance, and I understand that every restaurant can have an off day. But for us, it wasn't just the food--it was the lack of communication, welcoming customer service, and overall experience that really stood out. Hopefully, management takes this feedback constructively because better communication with first-time customers and more attention to food quality could make a big difference. For our first visit, unfortunately, Safe Haus wasn't a place that made us want to return.
