This has got to be one of the best burgers around came out nice and hot,fry's are ok.They are grilling and you can smell it driving up. Table was kinda dirty as was the restroom. R Burgers is located on Valley Springs Pkwy next to Sam's Club bordering Riverside and Moreno Valley. They have dine-in and drive-thru options. I was pressed for time and wanted to pick up a quick non-meat item, so I went to the drive-thru and picked up a Tuna Melt. It was delicious! Not too oily and it tasted homemade. I'd definitely come back and order that again. I've come here on a previous visit but only to try their fries. The fries were okay but I did love their ranch dressing. Definitely worth the extra fee to dip the fries in ranch. They have a large menu so I hope to check them out again in the future. read more

After years of dining at the University Ave location, also in Riverside, I've come here a few times the last couple of years. The first visit was because they offer a discount for county employees, and it's very close to the Registrar of Voters. I sort of relived my first experience recently, in the sense that their onion rings, while very good, are much too much. Especially as an add-on. For me the portion isn't a good value. Fortunately their burgers are really good during daytime hours. I noticed, at least at the University location they reheat pre-cooked burgers in the evening and they taste burnt, consequently. I'm not suggesting that occurs here, but it has curbed my after 8pm dining habits. I do, however, like the large clean dining area, and more than ample parking. The bathrooms are also always clean, so props there. A good small local chain, there's definitely variation between locations, but this one is well managed. Only 3 stars? Double cheeseburger and Breakfast pancake plate! Me and my son stopped here for lunch after his appt. We've lived in this area for 6years now and always drove past this spot and finally decided to come. The food was DELICIOUS and the prices are decent. The pieces were juicy and you feel like you're eating a hardy chicken tender.They come with your choice of barbecue, ranch, or buffalo sauce. Got 2 orders of the chicken tenders, one with fried zucchini and the other with French fries and one with a shake instead of a soft drink. Total came out to $45:/ The chicken inside was cooked right and moist but the breading was like chewing on leather with no flavor. The fried zucchini could have been cooked a little longer, it was like picking up a limp noodle. You do get a good size portion but the quality just wasn't there. Their menu is diverse, consisting of burgers, sandwiches, tenders, melts, salads, burritos, breakfast, and more. I was actually on my way to In-N-Out but decided to stop here and try it out instead. I'm glad I did. I had their #5 combo, which is the 'Original Burger' with fries and a drink. The burger was on the smaller side but tasted so good, exactly what I was craving. We have gone to the other R Burgers location in Moreno Valley off Alessandro Blvd., which is much smaller but is closer to where we live. We decided to check out their other location in Riverside. We arrived Monday morning to dine in. We were the first customers to order breakfast. We ordered the #2 3 Egg Plate (we ordered eggs over easy) with choice of bacon or sausage or both. My brother wanted the bacon. I asked for bacon & sausage. It came with hash browns and choice of toast (with jelly packets). My brother wanted wheat. I ordered rye toast. The toasts were buttered. We also ordered their freshly brewed coffee. My brother also wanted orange juice (freshly squeezed). Close to the register is where customers can get their condiments; i.e., sugars, creamer (half & half, French Vanilla), salt/pepper packets, ketchup, etc. It did not take long for us to receive our breakfasts. The gentleman who helped place our order is named Eric. He was very presentable and friendly. He made us feel welcomed at the restaurant. We sat at a table next to the window facing the shaded parking (in the morning) near the entrance door. This restaurant seems to be double the size of the Moreno Valley location. The Riverside location is conveniently located next to Sam's Club and across the street is Walmart. So, many shoppers would be coming here. I highly recommend this restaurant. Not only do they have fantastic food, but their staff works very hard to accommodate their customers (which is not very easy being on your feet all day). I encourage anyone who has never been to R Burgers, and were curious, to please come and experience their fantastic food! The restaurant is very clean. The Mexican lady with the blue hair is very rude at the window and for no reason. I prefer this location. I've tried others and this one is the best one. The fast food drive thru is an easy option when pressed for time. Located in the canyon crossings shopping center next to johns incredible pizza. Typical menu for a burger place but they also have happy hour from 2pm-5pm. A limited selection priced all at $4 bucks. This location does it right! They have a higher standard of quality for their customers. I appreciate their attentiveness for freshness. Customer service is friendly and always with a smile. Really disappointed with my experience at R Burgers. I ordered a breakfast plate that normally comes with meat and politely asked if they could substitute the meat for hash browns instead which honestly would cost them less anyway. The staff immediately said no in a pretty rude and dismissive way. I even asked if there was any other substitution they could make in place of the meat, and again the answer was just no. I understand that places have policies, but customer service and flexibility go a long way. Most restaurants try to accommodate simple requests, especially when the substitute is cheaper than the original item. The attitude I received made the whole interaction feel unnecessary and unwelcoming. A business should cater to the customers, not make them feel like they're asking for something outrageous or they're in wrong for not wanting a certain item. read more
