Wasn't terribly impressed with the cheeseburger, very greasy and fell apart in your hands before you could consume half of it. Fries were over salted and chocolate shake just didn't taste right. Very friendly service and the cashier was super patient with me while I decided on what toppings I wanted on my burger. I took a seat close to the kitchen and could see that the burgers were being made with care and precision. The food was great, and the milk shakes were thick and delicious. I took off a couple of stars because my fries had a long piece of hair wrapped in them. I showed them to an employee and he quickly shouted for them to me remade. Mistakes happen but it's always a very icky to have hair in your food. I spent a total of $65 for family of three, which included a tip so I think it's fair to expect more from this place than I would other fast food places like McDonalds. read more

Ate here before and it was delicious. Not good tonight. My boyfriend ordered a burger all the way and a large fry and I told the cashier that I wanted the same. When our burgers were finally ready, my burger was tiny and his was huge. I asked her why my burger was so tiny compared to his. She said yours is the same. Finally I open the burger and it had nothing on it but cheese and meat. I had to wait for them to make me a new burger. When I finally got the right burger, the cheese wasn't even melted on the burger and the burger was falling apart. After a hike many miles away, we exited the freeway at Craig Road to look for some lunch. I saw the Five Guys sign and decided to stop there because I've been to a number of Five Guys. Since I haven't been to one in a long time, things are completely changed because of Covid. There is no in house eating. You order, get your food, and if you've ordered a drink, an employee gets the drink for you so people are touching the beverage dispensers. It was fortunate for us that the company that built this shopping plaza put some seats and tables attached to the walkway. We didn't have to eat in the car. Just do the best to clean the seats and table and have at the burger. We each got a little cheeseburger and an order of fries. The drinks were gotten by the employee and we went outside to eat. It was then we noticed they forgot the fires. Back inside and after a short wait the order was finished although I think we got one order rather than two. We enjoyed our lunch. My problem with Five Guys is the burger is cooked until it can't walk anymore. There's no such thing as a rare or medium rare burger. How do you want that done, well done or well done? The first time I went to a Five Guys, the person said to me that you don't go to Five Guys for the burgers but for the fries. The burgers are OK, but I know what she meant. My wife didn't want to say anything because she thought it was just her. She got past the fact that they forgot her pickles and grilled her onions instead of the raw she requested. I have not been to this place in almost a decade. I recently saw a Five guys hack about how cheeseburgers at Five Guys are doubles so if you got an additional bun, which is free, you essentially have 2 burgers. Now I know why this hack is necessary. With that in mind, I had Five Guys on the brain. This one is right down the street from my house so I figured I'd get my fix for lunch today. It sounded like the people in the back cooking said welcome in when I entered. When I walked up to the order taker, he didn't greet me or ask what he could get me. He stood in silence waiting for my order. I ordered a cheeseburger all the way, regular fry, regular drink. It was $17.94. It took maybe 7 minutes to get my food which was a good wait time. When I got home less than a mile down the street, I was sorely disappointed. I pulled the burger out, and the burger is wrapped in aluminum foil which is of course majorly greasy because it was placed there by an employee with greasy gloves which is not an enjoyable experience to the customer in my opinion. I pulled the cup of fries out of the bag, and like I'm always told by everyone, there was extra fries in the bottom of the bag. Thing is, I don't think it's $5 worth of fries that you pay for a regular. I'm all for a loaded burger, but this was too much. The bun looked lightly toasted, but between the burger put on the burger straight from the grill and the slather of condiments, the burger patties slid straight out of the bun when I picked it up. This was such a battles just to keep the sandwich together. The icing on the cake for me is charging me $9.18+ tax for a burger with unlimited free toppings, but you can't put two pieces of cheese. Don't get me wrong, the burger was good quality beef, but the soggy bun was off-putting for me. Incredible service, smiles everywhere, the employees seem to have fun together, and they were very patient and sweet. Rounding out my recent burger forays, I paid a return lunch visit to this Five Guys, this time forgetting that a Regular Cheeseburger here is equal to a double burger most everywhere else. But I nevertheless enjoyed a very tasty humongous Regular Cheeseburger with 2 hamburger patties well done but juicy as advertised; and 2 slices of not that well melted American Cheese, along with fresh lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, onions, mushrooms, Green Peppers, mustard, and ketchup added. This was washed down nicely with a Vanilla Diet Coke from two "Coke Everything" machines, a few complimentary roasted peanuts, and great Hand -cut Skin-on Fries overflowing their container, except that they were over salted. Restaurant staff was extremely friendly, greeting me on my arrival, departure, and even after just emerging from the restroom. Since there are free soft drink refills, diners might as well just order a regular drink rather than a large. Grease spots had deteriorated the integrity of the paper bag holding the Fries but a replacement was gladly provided for me to take over half of the original batch home to Diane. The employees that I interacted with were all very nice. We ordered two burgers and the order was ready relatively quickly.
