Average. Good quality but for the price I prefer Inn and Out. We spent $25 here for 3 burgers a large fries and one soda. We spend $13 at the other place. It's good, has lots of options an I respect the quality and freshness but the cost it to much for a burger joint. Love the fries though. I'm torn. If probably eat here more if they had more options. My child doesn't like burgers and can't have cheese. So that leaves her with a BLT or hot dog. I personally like salads when available. Another think to note. Disappointed! This evening we got the absolute worst burgers & very skimpy " large" orders of dried out fries. Not only were the burgers poorly prepared, they tasted bad. Just praying we don't get sick. If we hadn't ordered them to go, we would have taken our entire order back for a refund. The store was packed, but no one in line with us. When asking for Mushrooms on a burger, that doesnt mean 2 tiny pieces. When asking for onion that doesnt mean 1/2 a cup, making it almost inedible. I'd heard about Five Guys but never been. I'm sorry but this place definitely beats N n out. They put care into every burger and, yes, you'll get a heart attack with double size. But if you're intent on getting a good burger, then you should accept that. Fries are fresh cut and hot without too much grease. Plus the customizable soda machine is really fun too. It will take them some time to make that burger. So you not want to come if you're in a rush. But it's worth the wait. read more

Three stars for decent food, but less than desirable customer servce. Usually I would rate this Five Guys as four stars because the food is good and service is decent. However, this time they did not impress whatsoever, particularly in customer service. It was my father's 60th birthday, and Five Guys is his place. Well, he ordered a bacon cheeseburger and we brought it home for him. He took two bites (which as a guy with a large mouth would be about half the burger), and said something tasted weird. He looked and realized there was no bacon on his burger and there were mushrooms (which he did not order). We figured it was a reasonable mistake and decided to take it back to get him the burger we paid for (because bacon is extra and it was his birthday dinner). Instead of it being an easy task, the service person was very rude, claiming 3/4 of the burger was eaten and that even his manager would make a fuss about making another. Kindly, he did make us a new burger, but complained at us saying how much of an inconvenience it was for him to make a new one when we almost finished the other one. It was a very uncomfortable experience, and he treated my significant other very poorly. Thankfully our other two burgers were pretty average/good for a Five Guys burger, and he did make the effort to make another for us (even though he let us know how he really felt). The milkshakes here are great. I love how you can customize each item you are getting. It may take a while deciding what you want on your burger but it is definitely better than having to ask to take things off. Five guys is the most overrated burger in southern California. It's slightly better in their wide area of complimentary toppings, but doesn't lettuce wrap and the burger just doesn't taste as good as in n out. It's getting a third star over a two star for being the only place at the collection where I can grab food on a Saturday night without an hour long wait. read more

Not good experience today at Five Guys. The Fries are VERY over salted. I had a $20 bill and $100 bill to pay for food. They would not except my $100 bill. Manager said they have been getting bad bills. I'm pretty sure it is against federal law to not accept US currency. Manager would not even check the $100 to see if was not counterfeit. My boys got their food, but I went hungry. That leaves a bad taste in a customers mouth. A food chain of this size should accept all currency. Will not be coming back here read more

Easily my favorite burger in this entire area. I notice people keep comparing it to In 'n' Out, but I've never had a burger at In'n'Out that didn't have pieces of bone ground in the meat. Never had that issue at Five Guys. Burgers are huge, juicy, tasty, and, oh, feel free to bring several friends if you have ANY hopes of finishing an their huge orders of fries. I love the food. Food isn't the issue. The issue is my husband and I ordered our usual and this time we decided to include an extra patty. We received our orders and everything was accurate minus the extra patties. I decided to call the store and explain the issue to a manager. Who then decided to give me attitude and say she was right there when my order was being made and implied I was lying. I decided to call her bluff and offered to come down and show my food to which she replied she'd be waiting. I went down and her attitude disappeared, I also admitted I made a mistake and it was only one burger missing the extra patty and she redid my order, which I appreciate. I work customer service, I NEVER give attitude unless I'm disrespected. I was very friendly and the disrespect is just amazingly disappointing. Won't be eating here again. My discussion with him involved several past experiences and the review I first posted here on Yelp. We've eaten at other Five Guys locations and really liked it. This one needs help. My daughter doesn't like regular burgers, but does eat veggie burgers. I noticed that the Five Guys menu has a veggie sandwich, but didn't have an obvious veggie burger option. I asked the cashier if they had a veggie burger, and she said that the veggie sandwich was a veggie burger. I asked again...is it a veggie patty, or just grilled veggies. She insisted it was a veggie patty. We got our order...confusion ensues. There are number stickers on all of the wrapped sandwiches that don't correspond with anything...not the sequence that we placed our order and no indication on the receipt as to which was which. The veggie sandwich was just a bunch of grilled veggies on a bun - no veggie party. The fries were soggy and just not great. Not really a fan... The menu is pretty straightforward but lacks descriptions of sizes. Apparently little burger means a normal sized burger so when I ordered a regular I wasn't expecting 3/4 lbs. of rather flavorless crumbly meat. It wasn't bad, just lacked seasoning and that good burger flavor. Halfway through it just fell into a pile of meat, soggy bun, and grilled mushrooms. The cajun fries were good but they don't carry ranch, bummer. The place was kinda expensive more so than the Habit or In 'n' Out which both are much tastier. We won't be going back except for the free peanuts and a soda. Disappointment. read more

It would have been cheaper and way the hell better to get In and Out and just throw away a 20. The burgers were terrible they literally tasted like someones cruddy homemade burgers. They let they know where their burnt over salted fries came from, like I'd forget about the taste if I knew they were from Fresno.
