    Great fries

Five guys has always been a good place for grabbing a quick meal a fresh hamburger fries and good service. The Danville facility is no different. The people are nice. They're polite and they have a good sense of humor. They also prepare great hamburgers that are delicious. No matter what time of day.

What can I say........it's Five Guys! The patty melts are always on point, the staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is always booming. It's just one of those spots that never misses.

I love this location because it is close by the theater and shops. We were able to come by and grab a meal here before our movie started. This location is welcoming and gets pretty busy at times but the employees here have the system down. My burger and fries are perfect every single time and love that they are consistent.

    First time for hubby

First time at this Pleasant Hill location as part of a mystery shopper assignment and brought hubby along for his first experience as well. We arrived before lunch on a Saturday and easily parked on the street just a block away. The place is considered fast casual and the menu is pretty simple with a variety of burgers, hot dogs, shakes and fries. You must get the fries!? They are cut on the premise and fried twice that you get a creamy center and crispy outside. They are seasoned perfectly and the portion is generous. It is their policy when you order the regular size to get almost double the portions. We had a little cheese burger all the way which is a single patty with mushrooms, grilled chopped onions, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and mayo. The burger is pressed so it's thin and juicy. My order included a fountain drink for the design your own Coke machine. I love the variety. We are in and saw that you can have some peanuts while you are waiting. That's cool. Wait time was around 5 minutes and their policy is no longer than 8 minutes. All I can say is that hubby loved the fries and I look forward to coming back. Yummy!

Shrinkflation 2024. Regular fries. Gone are the days when the bag would be full.

The fries are thin-cut and crispy, the kind you keep picking at after you're full. Staff was attentive and actually helpful, not just going through the motions. Came in on a weekday and it wasn't crowded, so service was quick. They've got 80s music playing, which set a nice low-key mood for lunch. There's outdoor seating if you want it, and they take Apple Pay, which is handy. The drink selection is better than you'd expect for a burger place. Decent beer list plus a few whites and reds, so it works for a casual dinner too, not only a quick lunch. Nothing here blew me away enough for five stars, but nothing went wrong either. It's a reliable spot to grab a good burger without much fuss. Go on a weekday if you want it quiet, and get the Classic. The fries are worth adding.

We sat inside, which had interesting/entertaining decorations and artwork to look at while waiting. The employees were nice. The Mona burger tasted okay, the onion and meat and bun were all soft and mushy, so it was nice to have the spicy curly fries to complement the texture of the food. The milkshake was the best part! Vanilla milkshake was really good. I think I might want to try a different burger next time, but overall would recommend.

I ordered via the Kiosk, but the fries had me scan a QR code and answer some questions. After that, I waited for about 10 ish minutes before I got my food. The ladies were very nice and helpful, and they took care into preparing my food. Garden Burger: I enjoy the impossible meat when I can and this burger was huge. Besides the patty, I also got avocado, the other standard fixings and a fried eggplant. They also had mayo and bbq sauce as my spread. I don't know how, but I was able to eat the whole thing in one setting. It was juicy (as juicy an impossible burger can be) and delicious. The sauce held everything together and the extra spicy mayo I used for dipping brought the extra heat I needed. Overall, a delicious burger. Bulgogi Fries: This was complementary due to their promo and this was a huge portion. They made the bulgogi meat fresh to order and the same with my fries. Their plating was phenomenal. Overall, the fries were crispy and the sauce and meat were delicious. Overall, I can see myself coming here again. I should try a normal burger or I can try their chicken burger next time.

This area has homeless, but it's fine during the day. The only issue I have with this place is the interior design and lighting. It's stale and unattractive with office lighting and horrible off-white colors. If they changed the aesthetic inside and make it more like an old-school burger joint, they would get a lot more business.

It's not somewhere you got your way to find, but if you're in Walnut Creek downtown area hanging out or shopping, it's a good option to swing by and eat to relax and/or catch up with friends. Ask for extras of the house ranch. It's great to pair with the burgers. California burger (17.99): only burger I've tried, it's solid but the meat is on the drier side and l expensive for what it is Vietnamese chicken (15.99): most popular salad, pretty good Citrus and avocado chop (15.99): refreshing and all the ingredients work well together. Taste wise I still think the Vietnamese chicken is better though. Garlic fries (4.99): they are good, but a bit greasy. They pair well with the house mustard.

Casual Spot with a Great Indoor-Outdoor Vibe!…read more We had a beautiful day out in Walnut Creek today and decided to stop by Gott's Roadside for a casual bite. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish! The Vibe & Atmosphere The space is incredibly bright, open, and airy. Even though you're sitting indoors, the massive open structure makes it feel like you're sitting outside. It instantly gave me the breezy, expansive vibes of an outdoor concert pavilion or open-air amphitheater. It's the perfect casual setup with comfortable bench seating and a gorgeous, light-filled aesthetic. The Food & Drinks We didn't snap a photo of the food because we dove right in, but everything hit the spot: The Western Bacon Burger: Perfectly made, featuring a really nice, thick, crispy onion ring inside that stole the show. Garlic Fries: Flavorful, hot, and the perfect side. The Strawberry Lemonade & Rosé (image_5.png): I am not usually a big soda or sweet drink person outside of the house, but this strawberry lemonade was so good I willingly paid $3.50+ for a second one! Pro-Tip on the Drinks: They serve the drinks heavy on the ice. For me, that's a perfect catch-22 because it keeps it cold and dials down the total sugar intake. But if you're someone who wants every ounce of drink and doesn't mind the sugar, definitely ask for your ice on the side! Sweet Treats Note: The milkshakes looked incredibly thick and delicious (the peanut butter one caught my eye!). However, we passed on the cookies displayed at the counter. Visually, they looked like flattened-out dinosaur eggs--a bit dry on the outside (though they might be moist inside!). We decided to skip them based on appearance alone. Service & Cleanliness The ordering system here is great-you order at one window, they give you an old-school buzzer, and you pick up your food on the other side. Customer service at the counter was quick and efficient. I was also incredibly impressed by how diligent the staff was; they were constantly coming by to pick up trays and ensure absolutely no trash was left floating around. Even the bathrooms were clean, bright, and airy.
