Five Guys in Poway. Inside Dining and outside patio to the right. Plenty good chillin'!!!

13.99 for a combo and for a couple extra dollars I got a patty melt. However, wrapped in aluminum, by the time it reached the table, the grilled bread had become soft from moisture. Perhaps wrapped in the normal paper wrapping it wouldn't absorb as much. "Dunno?!?!" And how about a tray instead of a bag you have to tear at the table to make a placemat of sorts. Too messy! Otherwise food was tasty and staff was attentive or I may have given 3 stars... So be it...

recently visited the Five Guys in Poway, and overall, it was a great experience. The cashier was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the prices and menu, which was a nice touch. It definitely didn't feel like a typical fast-food experience. I've worked in fast food before, and this was on another level in terms of service. Now, onto the food. The burgers? Absolutely amazing. Juicy, flavorful, and well worth ordering. Honestly, I should've just gotten two because they were that good. The hot dog, though? Not worth it. Way too overpriced. I could make the same thing at home for a couple of bucks. The fries were okay; they're fresh and made from real potatoes, but let's be honest, what fries aren't? Nothing particularly special about them. The restaurant itself was decently clean. The bathrooms weren't spotless, but they weren't terrible either. Just some stuff on the floor, which is pretty standard. One thing I really appreciated was how disability-friendly the location is. They even have separate tables designed for accessibility, which is a thoughtful touch. Now, the biggest downside: the price. I paid nearly $50 for two hamburgers, one hot dog, one order of fries, and a milkshake. That's pretty crazy for fast food. While the quality is great, it's definitely on the expensive side. Would I go back? Probably. Next time, I'm skipping the hot dog and just doubling up on the burgers. Rating: (4/5) Great food and service, but a bit too pricey.

Laid back no-frills atmosphere, has outdoor seating too. Great burgers and fries and not too expensive.

First time trying five guys in a while and I forgot that their regular burgers come with two patties. If you're not huge on meat, the little burgers are recommended because those only have one patty. The fries are super good, and I think I would say they're better than most fast food places! Come for the fries!

$18.89 for the worst burger of all time. It says 13.99 on the menu and then they charge you an extra 2.80 for cheese. Huge bummer.

Both were really good all-beef dogs - Hebrew National would be my guess. Also, really good, solid buns. The In-N-Outt was really good but had a lot going on. A lot of the many toppings fell off and landed on my plate. The flavors and textures did meld very well together. The secret sauce was on the sweeter side. I loved that the bun was toasted. The New Yorker was the better of the two in my opinion. Simplicity is key, I think. Dog, bun, kraut, good mustard and a sprinkle of spice. Quality dog, good kraut, high quality mustard made for an excellent hot dog. My coworkers had really good things to say about their dogs as well. Particularly the Chili Cheese Dog, the So Cal Dog and the Surf Dog. The guac on the So Cal and pineapple on the Surf were especially intriguing. 5-star lunch!

Fantastic Group Hosting & Efficient New Service Flow!…read more We hosted a sports team fundraiser here, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish! The restaurant recently added a counter-ordering service, which worked perfectly for our large group. Instead of dealing with the logistics of split checks and delayed table orders, every family was able to line up, order their own food, and pay individually at their own pace. Despite the sudden rush of a massive group, the staff handled the crowd flawlessly. The customer service flow was organized, the kitchen was remarkably fast, and the staff remained friendly and welcoming under pressure. They made sure our event ran smoothly, and everyone had a fun, successful, and stress-free evening. I ordered Onion Rings, and Gonzalo ordered French Fries. WHEN THE ORDER ARRIVED, a mix-up. MY BURGER came with French Fries, my partner's with onion rings. It has its own parking lot, which you can usually find some parking spots, unless you're coming at a peak meal time or are experiencing an overflow of Costco customers trying to find a spot to park. Plan accordingly. We came back here during our trip for Comic Con and the place looks the same - some updates to the menu, but essentially a lot of it was the same as I remembered it. Staff were friendly and prompt, food came out in a timely manner. I ordered their Shore Bird sandwich and liked it. They have pretty decent fries most of the time as well - I did have some pretty overdone ones, but thankfully not all of them ended up that way. My parents ordered burgers and liked them. Another favorite I love is their tortilla soup - didn't order this go around, but it was always good when I ordered it.
