Ever since Jersey Mikes was purchased, this location has been nothing short of disappointin, in both the service and product aspect. A few weeks ago, I had to stand in line at the checkout for 15 minutes before somebody finally allowed me to pay for my food. I was there earlier today with a buddy, and they got our orders completely wrong. I got a Regular buffalo chicken cheesesteak on rosemary parmesan bread, and my friend got a giant chipotle cheesesteak on white. What we received was a giant buffalo chicken cheesesteak on white, and a regular sized cheesesteak on rosemary parm. I don't understand how you make that mistake, the exact sandwich is written on a ticket write in front of you. Will never be returning to this location, gone are the days where I could get a fresh haircut from the Parlor and then head nextdoor and get a life-changing sub from Jersey. read more

I just want to say that this particular location on Pomerado Road is the BEST location! It is mainly because of the employees. They are the nicest and friendliest people out of all of the Jersey Mike's in all of San Diego. The other locations such as Mira Mesa, Solana Beach, and Oceanside don't have the most friendly employees. This Pomerado location is definitely my go-to Jersey Mike's now. Had to correct them on my sandwich multiple times before just giving up on getting my order right. Dude who made my sandwich cut the paper way too small and instead of just cutting a new paper, he manhandled the sandwich-- please just look at the photo... so disappointing. If I could give zero stars, I would. I went in and ordered two giant subs, and was told there would be a half hour wait. I paid for my food, went to target for half an hour and came back to pick up my food. Still no subs. My daughter and I waited for another 10 minutes then I asked if my order was ready. One punk behind the counter smirked and said he lost the ticket. They said they would make it right away, but then said they were completely out of bread. So I ended up leaving with nothing. Sandwiches are always great as is the service. If it's slower I'd recommend striking up a conversation with the staff, they're a bit on the younger side but nice kids. Anytime I order online, they forget the added selected condiments, no mayo, no hot pepper relish. I just had the best sandwich experience ever - I had a large order and the two women working , one brown hair one green, were so attentive and sweet. Order was wrong. Bread was kinda stale but the worst part was the lack of meat in the sandwiches. Got two of the huge sandwiches and was mostly bread as well as onions which I specifically didn't ask for. This has put me off of Jersey Mikes at this location forever and maybe the chain as a whole. I don't go very often, but I've already earned TWO "Giant" subs, which are very sharable for two. This means more than $30 of free food for not much effort. I've spent a lot of time on the Jersey shore, and I can tell you, these subs are pretty authentic and very good. It's so nice to avoid that confused look when you want superior oil, vinegar and pepperocini instead of mustard and mayo. This time I got an added but never asked for is vinegar and oregano. My sandwich is just taste like vinegar and oregano that stuck in my throat that made cough my stomach acid. Disappointed with the sandwich artist service, the individual who made my sandwich was talking to another costumer while making my sandwich and did not ask me if I'd like my sandwich Mike's way. He assumed a lot instead of asking me. This just resulted in the individual who was going to ring me up to complete my sandwich after he had already touched the register and that individual did not change gloves or wash hands before adding my extras. Very gross. However, the cashier who rung me up was a different one but he washed his hands prior to handling the cash register which I was surprised considering the prior actions of his fellow co workers. read more
