Cheeseburger

I ordered cheese burger, regular fries and a drink. Ice cold bun. Disgusting tasting cheeseburger. Will never go there. Ridiculous!

Five guys used to be the best place for non-sit down burgers. Food quality is still the same, but the price vs what you get is so sad now. $11 for a burger and $5 for this sad amount of fries. Might as well get take out from a sit-down restaurant at this point.

This location was a letdown. I want to say the staff were very friendly and kind. However, the food and the restaurant were way below average. As you can see in my photo, they just threw lettuce, pickles, mustard, and a burger in a to go container. They didn't even slightly try to make it easy to eat and it's like they closed their eyes while making it. The restaurant was so dirty. We're in the middle of a pandemic and they should at least try to keep it a little bit cleaner. They also all had masks but they were wearing them below their chins - they didn't even cover their mouths or noses. It's like they had them just to check a box. I hate leaving anything less than 5 stars - especially now but this locations needs some work.

The service was great. No line. The food came out quickly. Why is a single burger called a "little burger" ? And a double patty burger called a "regular hamburger" ? Makes no sense to me. The burgers aren't really all that good . Adequate - yes. The selection of toppings is good. But they are all super basic toppings (in the burger world). The thing that we keep coming back for is the fries. We really love the fries. It may be time to find another burger place with (not so) basic toppings. For a plain old burger this is a great place. If you are feeling a bit more gourmet --- not the place for you.

Friendly employees and quick, accurate service. I am not a huge fan of their food because it is too greasy for me, however, many of my friends are big fans of Five Guys. I visited this location to order food to go for someone else and the service was great! I was greeted when I arrived, my order was taken right away and made quickly and accurately. I did park kind of far since I was not sure how crowded North Hills would be but there is parking available closer to Five Guys. I would return again if I need to pick up food again for someone else!

It's pricey but good quality and large portions. The sliders are huge. Don't mistake them for being small. Plenty of parking in a shared lot by the garage. Tables are easy to maneuver around with an assistive device. Would come back. I have 4 stars because it took a long time. I suppose good food takes time but it also takes the fast out of fast food to wait 15 + minutes for a small order. I'll be better prepared next time. I also deducted because the bathrooms were nasty and there was no toilet paper in the stall. It says to flush twice and it's apparent people didnt because the toilet was stopped up and I couldn't get myself to use it. Then finding no toilet paper was enough to make me skip it all together. I would definitely make it a littler easier with the pick up. First off we couldn't hear what number they called and some of us older folk can't remember numbers. I had to get my receipt to confirm the number because I couldn't remember if it was 5 or 6 or what. Then the order came and looked nothing like I expected and I had to check again to make sure I had the right number. If they can keep the bathrooms clean and call the numbers a little louder, I think it would help a bit.

The smashburger was phenomenal!!! It had their special sauce, jalapeños, lettuce, tomato, and cheese on it. The burger was well seasoned and cooked just right with those smashburger crispy edges. The chicken tenders were also well seasoned, crispy, fresh, and actually tender to the bite. The fries had the perfect amount of salt and crisp and I didn't expect to get it, but my meal also came with a nice slice of texas toast. Overall, I left with a good first impression, and am definitely coming back next time I'm in Raleigh. Customer Service: Upon arrival, the owner introduced herself to me and welcomed me in. She was soooooo friendly!!! I appreciated her entrusting me to one of her cashiers for recommendations when I told her it was my first visit! He was down to earth and very outgoing when asking what I had a taste for and how hungry I was and advising how he hooks his food up! Needless to say, him recommending the special was the best idea! Ambiance: This place is casual, well-lit and inviting. It's next to the college campus so it's ideal for a group of friends meeting up in the evening or for lunch!

Your classic burger joint that's been around since 1960…read more You grab a slip of paper with menu options, fill out your order with a nub of a pencil, and slide it through a slot in the plate glass window, through which you can see 2-foot- high flames rising above a weathered flat top that emanates a delicious beefy aroma. The burgers are no frills, backyard barbecue vibes, really well seasoned and topped with the best burger cheese there is--melty yellow American. The fries are thick and starchy but cooked well so the vast majority are crisp and a little crunchy on the ends. They salt them really well, which goes a long way with thick cut fries. I heard the milkshakes are a great choice, but I wasn't nearly hungry enough, so I went with a soda fountain Dr. Pepper instead. Nice crunchy ice and a well stocked syrup supply gave it that classic drive-in soda quality. Super friendly staff rounded out that experience as well. It's not the best burger I've ever had by any means, but it really does give a warm sense of nostalgia, even for a place I'd never been to before.

The staff are always nice, and quick to get orders out. Chatting with others while waiting for the food is a great way to pass time, and learn of other places nearby to visit. We were told there's a bar across the street where you can take your food in, and that sounds like a good night! Definitely go try their food, and have the Char-Grill experience.

Y'all, my daughter and I have been looking at this place for a while and finally got there today…read more Oh, why oh, why did it take us so long? Obviously, this is our first time, but what we got was amazing. We each got one of the lunch specials. She got boneless wings with the seasoned fries, and I got the wings with the radish. I got the sauce that starts with a "y", and she got half Korean BBQ and half the "Y" sauce. She enjoyed both of the sauces, but liked the BBQ one best. She also ordered one of those Korean "corn dogs" with cinnamon sugar on it, and the Kewpie mayo. I wouldn't get the pickled radish again, it's not what I've eaten elsewhere, but who cares when the wings were so awesome.........amazing........I think young people say they are fire......and they were. The fries were crispy, the wings crispy and well-sauced.......................and I cannot wait to go again. To top it off, our server, Madden, was wonderful. Not named after those guys from the band, Good Charlotte, but after John Madden! Since I know it can be good, let it be known while there if it's not.......because I'm pretty sure they'll make it right.

Our waitress was super nice and gave us great recommendations as well which is always welcomed. I just really think it's pretty cool that they have a bar.
